The Accurate Stitch Regulator detects the speed of the quilt moving under the needle and adjusts the speed of stitching to maintain a designated stitch length. The 9480QCP is compatible with the A.S.R. (Accurate Stitch Regulator) set, sold separately. Janome Accurate Stitch Regulator System includes four feet: closed-toe, open-toe, clear view, and the exclusive ruler work foot so that all of your free-motion needs are covered. With the added benefit of being able to set the sensitivity of the sensor; you can adjust the regulation as your skills build.

Hello Shahnen - the Memory Craft 9480 machine is only a sewing machine, not a dual embroidery.

Hello@@ShaQuilt- this question is being posted on a video about the 9480, I'm sure that is the reason for the answer given. An embroidery machine is not part of this year's machine launch.
