Great review.... regarding your mp3 cd can you flick to a certain album/folder (e.g. say the 3rd album out of say 4 on the cd) easily or do you have to flick/go through all the tracks via folders 1 and 2 before you reach folder 3 ?
To be honest I tend to put a CD in and play the whole thing rather than finding individual tracks and albums so I can’t say for sure. Will double check and let you know.
I can't find a way to skip to the next folder I'm afraid, you would just have to keep skipping through tracks on the CD until you got to the next folder. You can set the repeat to CD, track or folder and you could set random play which will cover the whole CD.
I have the HIFI500 in the US. Can the speakers be upgraded? It was advertized as 60W but looking into the rear ports the magnets are labeled 10watt 4ohms. Does this unit allow for upgrading the speakers?
He's using a mobile phone to record the video/audio, and they are absolute crap for anything. @robinthereviewer6019 could do with some new lighting, too, as the white balance is shot to hell by the limited bandwidth LED strip light he's using.
What the hell are you playing this on? How can you hear the bass etc on a TH-cam video. He can hear it all but on TH-cam it's impossible. & now the room light doesn't suit. You're both a bundle of fun😂.
@@seltaeb3302 I watch on a PC with sound going through my DAC and an L12/2 amplifier that I built. Nothing wrong with TH-cam sound when you listen on good audio. Will sound like crap on a telephone however, that's the phone not TH-cam.
You've heard the expression don't speak with your mouth full, well don't speak with the music blasting out! Was hard to hear you clearly. Everyone is so bass obsessed, what happened to the treble? The treble will give you bass but also a richness. Big names don't have a treble anymore. I'm unsure about the sound. A good tray & how it sounds tells you about a quality.

You can get them for £60, they say refurbished but they've sold 31! I reckon they are old stock or display ones. You can't refurbish that many.
Just bought one. First DAB radio. Really pleased with the system, however I've noticed there's a 3 to 5 second delay when changing radio stations.
I don't think the delay is specific to the DAB500 as I've had similar delays on other devices. I think it's to do with the way it retunes / buffers.

Don't like USB and output/input jacks at the back, not easy to access. Not quite sure, can you recieve internet radio stations, i.e. French RTL radio?
Hi, this will only receive DAB radio not internet radio. For that you would need the Majority Quadriga (I have a review for that on my channel)

Your sound is very odd. Almost like the channels are out of phase somehow. The bass comes and goes, hard to explain but very odd sounding.
