Kan’s reaction is hilarious, but it is even better than usual since he also foreshadowed the 10 second time earlier in the video

Except that he always claims a 10 second time on dappers maps

For those confused about how to fake checkpoints look at 9:33. you can see the checkpoints triggering before finishing. Therefore the small checkpoints are fake but there must be a really big checkpoint around the fake skybox to give the effect of a checkpoint and it's lined up so you get it before the finish line

@@Egerit100 the real check points are lined up with the two fake one and are parrellel to them. thr trick is that the checkpoints are so big that they stretch to cover the road towards the final, think of it like a venndiagram and the road to the end goes through the intersection of it

I love how KAN already expects a cheese in all of Dapper tracks, yet he still finds a way to get him in shock out of confusion and amazement.

I did suspect something was up when there were about three minutes remaining when I fell off the road and heard a cp click whilst falling nowhere near the gates, but until it was explained during the post-match, I didn't understand how you had done it - I thought it was just a finish so you could skip everything after cp3. I should have brought it up during the race, but didn't think very much about it until dapper set the 10 second time, at which point it was to late to realize.
But now I know exactly how it was done. Especially seeing the skybox flickering on Dapper's end, which is similar to the giant tunnel that failed to load for him when he stretched it out to a giant distance. I'm pretty sure the fake skybox was to hide the real CPs.
Where is the post-match?
@@MrMeszaros Oh, they don't include the bits between rounds in the videos. You can't hear them talking anyways, just the 60 other players chatting while the boys load up the next track. A literal "you had to be there", sorry.

How did you fake the checkpoints? That's awesome.
So, the skybox was fake. He made a giant blue cube. Why?
Well, to hide the real checkpoints, which were at about a hundred scale. The collision was lined up with 3rd-person gates with the text hidden, so that they looked like legit checkpoints. The track was then designed so that it steared you away from the giant cps unless you were aiming for the fakes - except the finish, which was placed just after the two CPs overlapped.

losing his shet and getting cut off at the end really adds to it XD
thanks to the video title i figured out what the trick was much earlier. I'm assuming the real checkpoint 2 and 3 are actually much bigger and outside the map but aligned to the fake ones, so you still cross them while getting to the finish.
This was actually fun to play! And no, wasn't watching you, just did a random guess :)

You could make one with giant checkpoints that aren't hidden at all… have a slightly complex track with many paths, and you can see a grid of overlapping checkpoints in the distance, but because you're in the middle you can't see both sides of a checkpoint at the same time… so the puzzle is guessing where the checkpoints intersect the track, so you can try to find the shortest path that passes through them all.
For added cheesiness, adverse camber abuse. Have a piece of track whose surface is almost parallel to one of the checkpoints, but it's slightly concave so that you only hit the cp if you're exactly in the middle of the track.
Oh wait… you can't do that anymore, can you?

How ironic, that after watching 3 videos (this being the fourth), I actually had the idea to go straight to the finish line as "wrong" as it seemed. LOL And I don't even know the game. I've enjoyed watching it just because of the chaos.

Dapper, you would have hated me on this one. As soon as I saw where the finish was in relation to the rest, I was like, I want to see what happens of you just turn and go straight for the finish. I would have exposed your cheese inside two minutes if I made it into your lobby. And now I really wish I had, because I would have really enjoyed the conversation between you and Kan if that had happened.
I spotted the red finish(the cheese) about 1/2 video. Even though dapper had not used it yet. .

When doing turns like that try to be in the middle and cut super short and stay straight as long as you can, do as little actual turning as possible, in those 180 turns go wide on the first corner and you can just cut through the second turn atleast if it's like every other car game racing physics should still apply

What's with the counter then? And how'd you make em fake? Now I wanna make a track just to throw in 20 fake checkpoints for Kan
(As per other comments) The real checkpoints are overscaled outside the box but set up to line up with the fake things that look like checkpoints. The rest of the track is designed as to avoid going through the real checkpoints too early, except if you go straight to the finish.

How do you fake checkpoints?
put an extremely scaled checkpoint,
now put a 3rd/1st person gate where the checkpoint overlaps with the track,
then hide the gigantic checkpoints behind a fake skybox.
How did you make fake cps??? Can you explain that?
