Awesome boat! Is there a particular reason you didn't go with a 3rd Lowrance up front, I see some of these new mounts set up for 3 units and was just wondering. Once again congratulations on an AMAZING Boat!
I hope nitro gave you a bonus so they could use this video to show at all their dealers. It would make the salesmen's job a lot easier so far you've shown everything that anyone that is spending a day on the water would want except maybe a toilet. They cost a lot more than they used to but have so much more on them than we ever dreamed of 30 yrs ago and all of it to make fishing even more enjoyable. Hope to hear an update on your lake soon. Tight lines and good luck
Best detailed boat tour I have ever had. If you ever retire from fishing, I am sure you'll have a guaranteed job at BPS selling these boats! Great Job.
Since I don’t fish really big water here in Florida and I’m usually by myself a 21’ boat was overkill but best decision I ever made earlier this year when I decided to return to bass fishing was a order a new 2021 Z 18 Pro w/150
Man that is top on the line 👏 we seen your "21" last year in Ohio one evening at a hotel the driver told us you had some business up in NY so he was delivering it to ya. Very nice looking boat also, oh your driver was very friendly letting my wife and I look it over. We even talked about your pecan farm. Good luck fishing this year as you are BLESSED , a good life and good friends.
No matter how many of your videos I watch, I'm always blown away by the quality of every aspect. This has to be one the highest quality channels on all of TH-cam, not just the fishing niche. Good stuff as always E2!
THE INTRO.... WOW! Props to the team behind all of these awesome videos!! Edwin, your energy makes everything beat like thunder! Golly that boat too almost forgot about this masterpiece. Wishing the best of luck for y'all out there, toads n hogs n everythin!!
Excited for you. I just got into a 2021 z18 this year and loving it. Your video just gives me more to look forward too on the next nitro down the road and some ideas regarding add ons. Thank you for the video
Edwin, awesome Nitro! You have a lot of cool things that you added. That's a office all bass fisherman should want to have. Hope you have several wins with it this year. 🎣🐟🙏
Edwin, your excitement over the changes certainly comes thru!! Beautiful rig, and the past is the past. Best of luck in 22, now go work on that new lake, any updates on its progress?
Great looking boat but I'm still partial to my z21 with the three compartments on the front deck period makes it easy to get the things. I can sit on one and open the other. Really enjoy the channel especially the interviews
Man what a boat!!! I took out a loan last month, got impatient and bought a duel console of another brand and I am not happy with it at all. Should’ve got a nitro like I wanted. That thing should serve you well for years to come.
Great video walkthru. I also have a new Z21Xl. The standard cockpit floor is the seadeck, which I have. Why did you opt for carpet in the cockpit. BTW, it is a great boat. I virtually have no holeshot, less than 1 second.. Throttle down and it it pops on plane. Amazing. Great dry comfortable ride.
Couldn't tell from the angle but when you put in the passenger console is it hard to get into the drawer. Could not tell how far it slid out. Nice rig!
I really enjoy your channel, I really like the fuse access, very good idea! Once you get into the performance of your new boat can you provide some details on the new hull design like what changes were made to enhance performance, what is setting it apart? I for one really like that information.
Watched this months ago and loved it- dream boat. Ordered smaller one but big delays. Ended up having display boat come off display early and picking up Nitro Z21 XL Pro on Thursday for less than the one on order! Thanks! BTW what length of FLOW RITE DID YOU ORDER?
Edwin, I have a Nitro Z20 and can you tell me why their is a white film on the jack plate ? I saw it on your boat when you we’re showing the Atlas jack plate..
Pretty satisfied with my 2019 Z17. Wish they had a better transom saver. Bought a DD26. I don’t care nothing about going fast on the lake. 50mph. Is fast enough.
Great boat Edwin, I want to ask you, what lowrance model of temperature sensor installed in your livewells? You talk manys time the important of see the livewell temp for care the fish but never show the sensor, installation or confinguration. Very thanks
Super job breaking down your new rig. Congratulations on a great ride. Can you buy the trailer step separate to add to a rig? Getting up age and need to do this.
Hello Edwin, My wife and I just bought a 2022 Z20 Nitro. We were wondering what kind of trailering cover do you use. We go to lake Okeechobee every winter and trailer our boat. I would love to know what kind. Thank You Jim and Becky of Wisconsin
Awesome boat Edwin, I watching all of you guys getting them, ott, kvd. Andy, etc, hopefully they help you get more fish in the boat that's what matters, I know your sponsor by nitro and all and they obviously are giving you guys the best of the best, but with that said, Edwin do you ever get a chance to try other boats just to see how well yours is compared to others? Just curious thx Edwin
I guess the gas tank is located under the seats, right?? What is the capacity, please? Is there a location for a second spare tire under the boat,or can one be installed? Man, to me the most important change made on these great boats, is the location of all your electrical equipment under the hood of the console!!!! Like you said, you don’t want to be laying down on the floor with a flashlight in your mouth trying to work on something where you have no room for both hands and no room to move around!!! This is one FINE BOA!!!!!
That’s an awesome set up. I currently have a 31 Blue Top for my cranking battery. Would like to add another battery for my added electronics. Would you add another 31 or add that 34 to my setup? My TM battery is a lithium so I have weight and room to spare.
Any batteries that are wired in series or parallel should be identical in age, size and type. If you add another battery, whether it is a 31 or 34, it should be isolated from the other 31 cranking battery.
@@soonerfan1675 LOL... this 'one guy' has had Nitro's, Triton, Stratos and now a Ranger z520. So, I have had quite a bit of experience - and if you read the comment, it wasn't negative. I would love to be back in a Nitro.
@@Crushin123 Sorry man! I didn’t mean to misjudge you. I go on the bass boat message boards and the word “Nitro” can’t be mentioned without 2 or 4 haters going after Nitro. I’ve had nothing but 15 years of trouble free fun out of my Nitro so sometimes I get a little touchy. 😉
@@soonerfan1675 All good my friend - I appreciate the apology. I totally understand the Nitro bashing on sites - all manufacturers have their issues. My Ranger may ride in rough water like a tank, but it sure slaps the waves and kills my back. The flat bottom style also rides up onto logs in the shallows and its a bitch to get it off at times. I prefer the softer V hulls - ride, and when slipping through in the shallows. My Nitros DEF had a smoother ride than my Ranger, but were bad for getting on plane, and didnt go as shallow as my Ranger. I think the new Nitros have a super clean, nicer laid out boat top to bottom. So, hopefully they get rave reiews and last - then my Ranger will be up for sale. All the best - thanks again pal. Cheers from Toronto.
Looking in your port rod box, I saw the rod gloves / rod Sox, what brand are those? It has that black stuff at the bottom to keep treble hooks from snagging. What brand are those?
I don't believe you actually JUMP-START the outboard from the trolling motor batteries when you have a Charge unit. If you read the manual, you'll find what goes on is that the Charge uses the trolling motor batteries as a power source to charge the starting battery or batteries for a few minutes (about 10 I think). After that battery charge cycle completes, the Charge display status changes, telling you that you can try starting the outboard again. That's not really "jumping" because you have to wait for energy to be transferred from one battery set to the other in a charge cycle. I carry a Lithium "jump starter" that actually has the power to jump a battery for outboard cranking as quickly as it is connected, no waiting necessary.
Yes they are much longer at the bottom. They have a square top then half way down goes to a rectangle. I think they are some of the biggest in the industry.
You need to read or talk to your Lowrance guy about what you THINK is a Point-1 antenna at the bow. It's not. There's no way to connect a Point-1 to a Ghost. The puck that attaches to it is a "TMC" (Trolling Motor Compass). It's dedicated to the Ghost only, and for magnetic heading ONLY; the GPS antenna for the Ghost is inside the head of the Ghost. The Live units don't have any connection to the TMC.
Thanks for watching everyone! What questions do you have for me about this new boat? Let me know below and I’ll try to answer it! 👇
1 question, Where does your old Nitro go after you get your new one? or is that classified.
Can you retro fit that center seat on Z21 2021? Non-XL… that’s a must have I don’t on mine.
