- Different Environments in Power Automate.
Default Environment:
Purpose: The default environment is automatically created for every user. It’s where you start building workflows and automations.
Example: When you create your first flow, it resides in the default environment.
Production Environment:
Purpose: Use this environment for stable, production-ready solutions.
Example: Imagine a company using Power Automate to automate order processing. The production environment hosts the live flows that handle customer orders.
Sandbox Environment:
Purpose: Ideal for testing and experimentation.
Example: Before deploying a new flow to production, you test it in the sandbox environment. If it works flawlessly, you move it to production.
Trial Environment:
Purpose: Used during trial periods to explore Power Automate features.
Example: When evaluating Power Automate, you create a trial environment to experiment with different flows and connectors.
