I always like my first one better! I think that when it’s the original I am more excited and try harder to express my vision. When I make another it is never the same, and I lose interest in reaching the lofty heights of my creativity.💕🎨 But, both of yours are so pretty.❤️

I think that the biggest part of the difference is the paper because you are using 100% cotton in this painting. I actually love to old style too, all of your work is just lovely anyways!!!
How interesting to see the differences, I like both paintings but I enjoy this new one alot! I have old drawings I did when I started learning to draw and they are so different than my current skill level but I still cherish my first attempts because they are special in their own right. It's tempting to try and touch up those older drawings but I wouldn't go that far, so I can see why you want to re-paint your old art! It's really special and I'm thankful you shared this artwork. I like the old one because of the bright glow of the candle is brighter than in the new one. The old one seems to give me more hope. (and the night is not as dark and dreary as in the new one.) Paintings say something different to everyone. I like them both, but the old one seems to give me hope that the night is not as dark with the candle glowing. 💖🌞🌵😷

Lovely! I like the way the darker portion of the indigo blue kinda looks like trees in the background...but one think is a little confusing to me. The leaves then are inside the house? and the walls around the window shouldn't have snow on them...? Not a big deal, just wondering...Again, lovely painting!
I look at it as the leaves being outside, looking at the candle inside :) When I was little my dad would hang boughs around the front porch and my mom would fill all the window boxes with Christmas greenery
@@ShaydaCampbell But the indigo blue wasn't supposed to be the sky? And it's snowing too... It could also be the reflection of the window... either way is beautiful ❤️

This is a Great Video. I have art from childhood, on occasion, I'll redo my Favorite pieces, through the years, they all are the same, and different. I ❤ both pieces. They both have their own personality. TYFS.

i like both styles.. i do see a progress from the first to the second one, perhaps cuz the latter is detailed with thinner brush strokes.. but i like the first one equally the same as the second, cuz i love the cartoony vibe..❤ i just got my new pair of glasses today, a rose gold one haha.. coincidence? 🤷♀😁
