The crew and I worked super hard on this video, so we hope you like it! For the first episode of the series, I tried to improve on all of the feedback I received in the comments of the prologue. On top of that, I’m also gonna clarify a few things:
1.) This story is NOT connected to FNAF!!! This story was originally pitched as a fan game, yes, but the concept was original enough for me to make it into a separate entity instead. Please do not call Welcome to Dreamworld a fan project! It is not. 🚫
2.) No, the title “Dreamworld” is not a reference to any real world locations. It was meant to be a parody of Disney World theme parks, with their character mascots and colorful attractions, and it was also a vague homage to Kirby Return to Dreamland. There ARE real world theme parks with a similar name, so I’ll try to refer to this company as “Dreamworld Entertainment” specifically to avoid confusion. Plus, in the lore of this story, the founders would have TOTALLY stolen an existing theme park name for their own project (mostly Sara) so it still works in canon.
3.) I will be trying to add more scares to future episodes, but I want to build up to it slowly. The majority of my audience is comprised of younger viewers, so I want to be able to make something everyone on my channel will enjoy! However, this doesn’t mean I’m gonna soften any of the darker story elements or visuals. I want this series to be horror that is accessible to everyone, not only adults, but I also want it to be GOOD horror as the series continues. I hope that makes sense!
4.) Yes, fan art is actively encouraged by the crew and I! Please use #welcometodreamworld if you post it on Instagram, and otherwise try to @ me directly so I can see it! 🤖💕
5.) No, auditions are NOT open for any cast or crew members, including voice actors. I’m keeping the team very small for a lot of reasons, especially after my past experiences hosting projects like this.

Hey, Dreamworld is looking to turn out AMAZINGLY, and is off to a great start. But, because this is a horror series with jumpscares, I’d suggest maybe putting down time stamps for them somewhere? Both for possible younger viewers and people who just simply get triggered by jumpscares.

Alr, my guess is: Whoever made the notes after the first guideline is the same person who’s talking during the monologue at the end of the episode, based off of the “this is our hell” line and their “humanity is doomed” lines. AND, the first person says, “I’m sorry *darling,”* which is a word we’ve only seen Starlight use so far.
So, Starlight used to be someone close to Sara (??), probably died in a fire, possessed Starlight, and is also narrating for us?
You got some details wrong, but you’re on the right track! Pay close attention to the colors of the different text messages

It is my conjecture that the three children become the triplets. Is that obvious? You can also hear a man screaming in the fire section, either meaning Bright was there, or there is someone else inside the house. I find it odd that Starlight is greeting Wyatt, considering they can only glide around on their rail. Does the tour bot have a rail, or was there something that happened to stop the use of this rail?

This is one of the few unique analog horror type series and I kinda like it being more on the PG-13 side. I feel like at times horror for kids ends up being more interesting than horror for mature audiences. Its like a mix of Goosebumps spookyness and Gravity Falls in a way.
"Fnaf burnout", as I call it, is something I and many fans have experienced. And I feel like security breach gave me more of that same feeling. Not saying it is bad by any means. I just don't think it scratched that deep nostalgic fnaf spot just right. And shockingly, with a brand new cast, brand new faces, and a completely different format to consume this universe altogether, this REALLY scratched that spot. The little bits of humor were great, it genuinely got hard for me to breath because of the tension at the end, the character an environment designs were wonderful, and everything was just so well done overall. Thanks so much to you and the crew for delivering such a wonderful episode of Welcome to Dreamworld. I know this is a small passion project, but still, I feel like this is going places. Keep up the great work!

First episode and I have theories:
The tv head character who showed up on screen is probably a virus of some sort, considering it appears to have corrupted the video, and is not seen or mentioned yet.
The virus mentioned Sara, who I believe to be the mad woman mentioned during the fire scene. She seems to be one of the founders of dreamworld entertainment, who apparently had access to Louis' house and seems to be attempting to put her own mind in an animatronic body, but wants to test it on others first.
This got me thinking, why are there videos from the employees perspectives? And why do they seem to know so much? Body cams were not mentioned during the episode, so did Sara involve the employees in her experiments? If so, the jump scare at the end would by Wiatt. If not, it is probably the vengeful TV head Virus corrupting the video.
I slowed down the footage and I think this might’ve been sara’s Business partner or at least that’s what the thing said

Lewis- maybe Star? Maybe the tv-head dude talking about how Sara tricked him and he's still there? I feel like the later is more likely.
Sara- totally evil, she's the one lighting fires and killing people and using their minds as experiments to try and copy the human consciousness into a machine for a sort of immortality. Like how Caroline was forced to become GLaDOS!
Why not let the people who would be around the robots most often talk to them? Because they might pick up on just how human they are.

I didn't realise how much or how quickly I shipped Glory x Rex until I squealed when I saw them on screen just talking.

I’m redoing this bc I can’t stop thinking. At like 4:17 we get either Glory, Lolli or Starlight talking to someone. The creator replied to a comment saying that The first cut was Starlight talking to us and also Starlight at the ending monologue. Now the creator replied saying that they were on the right track but to pay attention to the colors. I originally thought it was Lolli talking to us because of the color, but then I thought about the “I’m sorry,Darling” ending line and that didn’t fit Lolli’s character so I thought it was then Glory. Now the darling remark doesn’t fit her either meaning that it is probably just Starlight talking to us. They are clearly talking about either an animatronic that rampaged (with a blue coloring and also female,, meaning Glory or Lolli) or Sara. I would assume at like 4:17 they were talking about an animatronic but at the end talking about Sara. I’m not going to edit this comment anymore bc I want to sleep.

“Please do not drop kick the children in self defense” i’m sorry wHAT
You know what would be fun, if we do get a welcome to dreamworld game and if Rex was going to be a final boss, he should have some sort of control button to control the other animatronics. Iike if he saw that one of the other was becoming aggressive to gust he could use this to stop them from hurting anyone.He is obsess with everyone being safe after all. But this would back fire when he gets corrupted and he would use it to control the other animatronics to try and catch/kill the player.
Theory: Sara is experimenting with the limits of human life (or something like that) and in doing so she's killed multiple people one of which being Luis and who I'll refer to as Teal (the person who's been corrupting the videos). I think that Teal wants to expose Sara for everything she's done to what seems to be 20+ people and they do that by interacting with the videos (ghosts are thought to be able to interact with electronics).
Also the line "I tried to stop her" could show that Teal knew Sara and it's a huge possibility that all her other victims knew her to (Teal could have been her employee or even her child but the last one is fairly unlikely).
"It wasn't my fault" I personally interpreted as Teal trying to convinced themselve that what Sara did couldn't be blamed on them which could also be linked to the "I tried to stop her" line so maybe Teal was a witness and blamed themselve for this happening (they could have been manipulated into be a accomplice and later killed)
"This is our hell" I can only think of that as dream-world itself feeling like hell because it's a constant taunt "I'm alive you're not" "you loved this place and wanted to see it succeed but I'm running it" "I got away with it and I'm living my best life" "I can continue with my life while you're all stuck hear" I'm sure you get what I mean
"This is the punishment for our failure" this could be seen as evidence for me Teal accomplice theory but the use of "our" could either mean multiple accomplices or something else entirely, one thought was if you did something wrong on the job you'd get killed but that has some "bad employees get put in the corps robot" which to to funny or a sentence and considering that it was the first thing to come to mind I'm all outa ideas

That ending caught me way off guard, and was probably the scariest thing I ever saw!!! It was amazing!!! I see nothing but greatness from this series, keep up the great work!!!!
I absolutely loved this first episode. It properly introduced most of the main cast and their personalities(With a few exceptions). I would definitely watch the next episodes.
But now, here comes my little criticism.
I personally think there was a lot of information thrown at us in the spans of ten minutes. I felt like the house fire incident came out of nowhere and could have been kept for another episode. I would have liked to have this episode solely focused on introducing all the animatronics, their areas, what kind of job the guard would be doing throughout the day, etc. All the spooks with the safety policies were a pretty good touch though.
Please don’t take this too hard. It’s just my opinion. I do love this series so far and would love to see where it goes. These are just little pet peeves of mine.

I really like how much work and creativity went into this, and from this episode alone, I already have a few theories. So far I'm pretty sure at least 5 people are dead, 3 of which I'm guessing might be connected to the triplets, and the last 2 most likely have a connection with the creation of Dreamworld and/or Sara. Also, near the end where the person narrating mentions a 'Madwoman', I think they're referring to Sara, who was also called a Backstabber and Business Partner by the person shown with a TV for a head, possibly the one who built the animatronics.
I keep rewatching this cause I love Starlights personality

Quick question, was I the only goof to laugh when they mentioned “especially since the incident on opening day”? It was prolly meant to be creepy, but my brain liked the unnerving humor of it instead. There were a lot of cute details in this video, actually.

2) A company that does not care about safety of the employees

I believe who ever is possessing starlight, the text came from them, the color code to the text was yellow and blue, the only ones whos yellow is one of the triplets, Sheer, rex and starlight, and the only ones who's blue is one of the triplets, starlight also, loli, and Gloria, now if it was two characters talking, they won't use only use blue and yellow, the only two colors starlight has, And like another commentor said, starlight is the only one by far to use the word "darling" often, so who ever is possessing starlight, is also saying the text that pops up whenever the rules came up, they're also maybe the person breathing after the reboot, that seemed to be out of breath, like they were running from someone, and they're either begging sara to free them or to get the hell outta there before she gets hurt as well.
Wow, just fantastic. I haven't seen anything like this before. I love the partly hidden words that glitch in to give story.

Even though you did a pretty lengthy rundown of the story already, my theorist senses are tingling for the details. The sheer amount of info you get from just this one episode is astounding for how short it is, and the fact you were able to reveal it in a way that wouldn't immediately make it stand out as important at the same time is highly impressive. great work! I can't wait to see what comes next from this series :)

2 i understand it's difficult recording audio for specific senes so stock audio is a good option but if you're going to use stock its best to use multiple versions of audio like with the man screaming in the burning building just using one audio multiple times in a row kinda makes it less unnerving.
But none the less this is a good way to start a series

You don't know how long I've been waiting 🤩🤩🤩🤩
Upper neck joint sticks out the back of the head so it can rotate freely given its star shape. The head itself is split into two colours (teal and yellow), with a face that needless to say was much easier to draw in concept art compared to the actual thing. To start, the eyes are larger than the already fairly sized holes to keep the inside of the endo head from being seen. They’re simple balls with a rotating lens in the centre, coloured on either side of the head the opposite colour of that side of the head.
Continuing with the eyes, there’s a single rounded lens that extends from the top of the eye down to serve as an eyelid, designed with thick metallic eyeliner. There’re also small ovals under each eye, matching their respective face-side colours, meant to resemble blush.
Then there’s the mouth. The mouth is made up from a multitude of thin and wide hexagonal steel plates stuck seamlessly together to avoid showing cracks. Star’s default expression is shown when all of these plates are all stuck together and in place with the rest of the head, on the outside; the only crack being shown as a thin line going through the very centre of the mouth (done intentionally so Star’s mouth doesn’t ever disappear so to speak). The mouth’s expression changes as these plates fall back within the mask.
For example, to create a small smile, five plates will fall back into the inside of the head formed in the shape of a smile. The plates move smoothly from the middle crack to create the illusion of actual lips moving. From there, the smile can be changed in shape and size. This can be applied to all of Star’s mouth expressions. Beyond that, there’s a set of long endo teeth inside the head with the second middle tooth missing.
Finally, there’re the large face covering (mask) plates attached to either side of Star’s collar, resting at the sides of Star’s head. One is coloured bright orange, the other a navy blue and like the eye lens, contrast the colour of their respective side of Star’s face. Each plate is meant to display an emotion, shown through the symbols on the plate. The orange plate displays a teardrop; sadness, dread and despair. Then, the blue plate displays a heart; passion, intimacy and love.
Both plates are capable of closing in and covering half of the face. However, only one plate can be closed on the face at once. It’s important to understand that if both plates are forced closed manually, it will condition Star to automatically shut down or reset.
It's hard to believe that screaming burning man became a happy go lucky mentally unstable lemur animatronic.
The heavy breathing really put people on edge. A series worth watching!

Honestly I'm happy that it isn't a traditional analog horror as WtDw is pretty character-focused, so spending time with them is a pretty good way to handle things. Plus, with the massive surge in analog horror, this makes you stand out from the rest. Also, I like it because I can tell you utilized everything you could to your potential. Even though the budget is small here, I still felt really immersed as if you did have a larger budget, which is very good and shows that you can use any type of tools to create your craft

Rewatching the series after episode 10 dropped, and all the foreshadowing is amazing, I love Ribbon Dancers first line, now that I understand it’s meaning better, and he seems a bit more ‘awake’ at this point in the story, if you get what I mean, which makes sense, due to the time skip between this episode and the rest of the story

Pretty good job setting things up, the videos with the animatronics already set the sensation that there's something off even though you can explain why just yet, and the other videos do a good part in placing an eerie vibe about everything, I especially liked the one about the 5 main rules, while toned down for the younger audience it still carries this energy that reminds of Grimpus' videotapes, and it's actually impressive that was felt in the first chapter already.
Like the new worker said, the animatronics really are full of personality, and I can tell soon there'll be lots of people who will love them, I'm already starting to like Starlight and Pop myself. This will also probably help to give them more impact once things start to go wrong, since, as an horror story, I doubt a happy ending is what awaits our new mechanical friends at the end of the day.
