I am surprised - this is a very nice little city; everything looks to be clean, fairly new, in good shape, orderly with good roads & fine houses & buildings. Nicely done, Hattiesburg!

I have this strange fascination with Mississippi . Been all over the state . Natchez, Corinth , Oxford, Biloxi , Gulfport , Vicksburg , Tupelo. I always judge a place by how I feel when I’m there and Mississippi just makes me feel good 🤷🏻‍♂️. Never been to Hattiesburg . Thanks for the video

You might wanna stay away from Jackson, MS though. It has been named the murder capital of MS for two years running.

I always thought Hattiesburg was the prettiest city in Mississippi. If I was going to live in Mississippi, it would be Hattiesburg or the Gulf Coast.

Great starter video on Hattiesburg! However, you need to do a Part 2. Your video only captured 5% of Hattiesburg in Historic Downtown Hattiesburg. There are 5 Wards. While on Main Street, I wish you would have traveled all down Hardy Street which later turns into HWY 98. However, it’s your first time in the city. Therewith, you would have seen 50% of the city from the lower income end to the University of Southern Mississippi to Midtown to Oak Grove , to Turtle Creek Mall to Canebrake to Million Dollar Homes on the Lake to NFL Brett Farve’s mansion and many more. Then, there is William Carey University area surrounded by Black working class and Timberton Country Club and other Half-Million homes and up on to Camp Shelby, the largest reserve military base in the nation. It is so much more to Hattiesburg, both good and bad, which the good outweighs the band. Then, you have intersecting areas such as Hwy 98, Hwy 11, Hwy 49 and Hwy 59, all in Hattiesburg, which is called the Hub because of its middle (city centered) connection to New Orleans, Mobile, Jackson, Biloxi/Gulfport. Hattiesburg MSA is over 100,000 although the City population itself is 48,455 (2022). In sum, thanks for visiting my hometown. I’m in Los Angeles, moved from Atlanta, but Hattiesburg is a Diamond in the Rough via the state of Mississippi 💯👍🏿🙏🏿.
