The thing is, she never planed or expected to win. She wasn‘t even trying. It was more like an art performance and she had a strong message and people loved it.
@@DaOneFame You speak just because you think you know everything. Konstrakta is different kind of artist and I dont expect from you to undertand. After she win jury votes, she was OK... But somewhere in her mind she know that this is Serbia and she was knowing what people like in our country. She really didnt go for winning, just to spread message and she did it...
@@nikolastojkovic9781 I know Konstrakta very well for years now, and that's why I'm saying what I'm saying. She is very smart. Of course she didn't expect to win, she wasn't favorite at first, but everyone is competing to get something from the competition.
This song is pure art. The cynicism, irony, her intelligence and acting.....I'm sad people won't look into lyrics, It's a gem. Last verses in Latin speak about sick soul in a healthy body (mental health issues) and asks "what do we do now?" (Now that we have done everything in our power to keep our body healthy, but we neglected our mind). In my opinion it's genious to end a song with that question. She also tackles a problem of artists not having health insurance in Serbia
I agree with your interpretation, except that it means the lack of health insurance for artists. That is not true. They simply say, ,, nemam knjizicu`` "I don't have a book". but it doesn't say ,,nemam ZDRAVSTVENU knjizicu`` "I don't have a HEALTH BOOK" ie. health insurance. If you don't have, say, a party book... it means membership in a party... think about it. Knjizica, ,,NEMAM KNJIZICU`` , Booklet, small book, a synonym for identification, in relation to something, health, membership card, pass, it's just a word that is a synonym. What does it symbolize when you wash your hands of everything... you want to say that you didn't dirty your hands with something dirty, i.e. that your hands are clean, i.e. your conscience...
This is definitely a song that grows on you. Unfortunately that means it might have a tough time qualifying but the fandom is absolutely falling in love with it. Thank you for this gem Serbia ❤️
@@pauljanjacobs It is sophisticated, because it is well thought out on so many levels. Everything she does or says has a meaning. But is is not too obvious and that makes it so sophisticated 😃
This is not the "joke entry" tho. The lyrics of the song are definitely the most complex of all other songs at this year's edition of the ESC. The way she performs this on stage is super intelligent and out of the box: she is sarcastic and witty at the same time while singing about some incredibly serious stuff. In short, she uses some higher-level metaphors to criticize the Serbian government, their lack of interest for the artists' well-being, the social trends in the country that value female artists only if they are 'hot', and therefore the obsession with (unhealthy) beauty standards (that's why she asks herself at the very beginning about the secret of Meghan Markle's healthy hair, which is, according to Konstrakta, hidden in deep hydration.) She plays with the lyrics very well that one cannot accuse her of being against the Serbian government or the Serbian society in general, yet the message has come across so many people (i.e., over 44,000 people who have voted for her in the NF.) Her IQ must be really high..
thanks for explaining the message to us. hopefully the ESC-commentators will do the same before her performance. because it shouldn't be labeled as "the joke entry" when in fact it is completely the opposite. But still I have a problem that she uses Meghan Markle's hair to get across her point, because of racist undertones. Hair is a very sacred part of Women of Colour and many WoC feel fetishized and invaded when it comes to hair and touching it (ref. Solange's 'Don't Touch My Hair'). Consequently Konstrakta (as a White woman) judges the hair of a Woman of Color seems unfitting for this DNAge. Although Konstrakta's intention was to complement Meghan on her hair, but in the context of the song it feels more like fetishizing/judging how healthy her hair is whereas Konstrakta's hair isn't.
@Lola thanks for clearing it up for me. I am not familiar with Konstrakta‘s work & therefore I assumed that it seemed like she fetishises Black hair. But if the woman she‘s referencing is interchangeable, than it is fine with me. And to be clear, i‘m not bashing her work or diminishing it, i just wanted to point that out that in the current dnage people might make those assumptions.
@@paschipaschipaschi What she said about Megan: I decided to mention Megan in the song because the newspapers write that she has beautiful hair ... She has more beautiful hair than Kate Middleton, let's not lie. Kate has beautiful hats and Megan has beautiful hair. Megan is also exiled, and we support the exiled people.
@Lola it is not racist at all, it is actually searching for the the way to have beautiful hair like Megan while reading in the magazine, and itnis not about covid but health in general
Nothing about this song is "weird", this song is an artistical masterpiece, probably one of the best songs to ever hit Eurovision contest first and foremost because of the message it shares.
IN CORPORE SANO is so complex it is difficult to even choose some of the points Konstrakta made in her song and performance... well noted - it also leaves a lot of space for viewers´ to develop their own story... visually - strong references to Marina Abramovich, washing hands - hygiene, obsession with cleanliness, obsession with our physical health and appearance and completely ignoring mental. Lyrics are sometimes almost cynical (obsession with celebrities and their looks), sometimes deeply emotional (when she speaks of her long walks with her dog when she feels free and liberated), but definitely delivering a strong message. The line "UMETNICA MORA BITI ZDRAVA" (The artist must be healthy) is another strong reference to afore mentioned Marina Abramovich (Art must be Beautiful, The Artist must be Beautiful), but on a social critique level it is a reference to the struggles of artists to survive without steady income and support of the system (which is a global phenomenon, but also an ongoing issue in Serbia). The final point are the lyrics at the very end of the song performed in Latin: "Mens infirma in corpore sano, Animus tristis in corpore sano, Mens desperata in corpore sano, Mens conterrita in corpore sano" (Weak mind in a healthy body, aching soul in a healthy body, desperate mind in a healthy body, terrified mind in a healthy body) bringing the question of the mental health (especially in these troubled timed)... and finally, maybe unintentionally, current tragedy of war and how we all symbolically "wash our hands of responsibility"... Anyhow, CORPORE SANO is above all an original and unusual choice for Eurovision, but it is also very serious and reflective... not to everyone´s taste...
Yes. And we were surprised. From the moment she made it to the finals, she made her debut in the first position on yt trending, became a favorite of the jury and delighted the audience, she had twice as many votes of the audience as the second-placed Sara. It’s important to get to the heart of the message he’s sending and I’m really still surprised by the potential of this song.
@@MJUSlK and... so? It could talk about the most important thing in the world that if the song is bad is still bad. And, don't get me wrong, I'm all for artists that do their thing and don't follow what is popular. But this is simply bad in my opinion. Also I don't see a big traction for the topic, countries in EU have universal healthcare so it isn't something really relatable. Even the translation of the lyrics doesn't convey the message. I understand why Serbians love it, but I'm not Serbian and this song is the worst in the competition so far, even worse than "Eat your salad"
I know zero Serbian. The first time I watched the clip it had subtitles on by default so I was getting the message. It talks about health (In Healhy Body) but the tune makes it way more interesting.
This art was not even made to be voted for - it was made to become an anthem. I am not sure how much E fans can understand, the moment in which Serbia finds itself, but also the position of artists in our country. This woman did not even come to compete, but to convey the message, but the people found themselves, and fortunately there were people in the jury, except for the singer, who recognized the value.
I guess this song has a message, that's what the performance is saying. Would like to understand the lyrics for better understanding that message. Greetings from Spain
@@pepcosta8158 Even a literal translation of a song can be understood in many ways. And Ana, as the female artist is called, says she has multiple levels. Everyone can understand in their own way, but the text with the message is definitely very important. It is important for art for an artist to be healthy, isn't it? How to be healthy nowadays? Corona, lack of insurance, neglect of people who have serious diseases due to corona, and most importantly ... what's next for us? So, believe me, a very strong song - a lot. I don't know if "Eurosong" is the place where such messages are sent from, but I know that no one is indifferent to Konstrakt.
@olivera Trunic Thanks a lot for explaining and clearing up. I've read more comments to this song and I like the meaning. As you say, it's art. Maybe not the best song for a songs festival like Eurovision. But what I like of it is that it's sung in serbian (I guess), not a foreign language. And that the public of Serbia voted her mostly, maybe because they appreciated the message, maybe because they were tired of the last years entries 😉
It's because of the lyrics only, that's the only thing that makes this song unique, there are no special music nor vocal moments, there is no message, no emotion that will come to foreigners ear. That will be the reason she will not qualify to final :)
@@nenadkrcic4405 This is art there is no discussion, but it will not get to the average foreigner in Europe. And no, it will not qualify, because this is not a type of song for competition like ESC :)
@@m3i648 She said she would like to put tranlation on screen, not that thay will do. We all know that will not be her decision, the RTS ,,experts" will decide for her :)
The song has quite a strong message and it's very realistic. It grows on you and yes, I'm also a bit uncertain whether or not it will qualify, since not everyone understands Serbian.
aren't we a bit sick of Serbian plastic nudity and Byzantine/Slavic violin goddesses? Konstrakta blown away them lot and we are more than happy she will represent Serbia regardless result. No joke song at all, rather art performance
She's changing the world, connecting, reshaping. Like seeds of those flowers on the screen behind her are growing inside the chests of everyone who listens to it. Feels like the awakening of the soul that fell asleep. Deep. Powerful. Art. Hypnotic. Philosophy. Religious.

She was not in the center of public hype as Zorja, Sara or Angelina until Semifinal 1 (songs were released a month ago), when she became viral on TikTok, Twitter, Instagram and all over the region.
This song is absolutely PURE ART , better then any song this year in our country, lyrics is serious and amazing , deep on multiple levels. Music, visual and lyrics is a literaly mindblowing.
Great entry! Well bloody done Serbia 😊😊 She makes me think about Annie Lennox when in 1987 she sang "I love to listen to beethoven" with Eurythmics and it's funny that this singer is the lookalike of Quinn, the psycho wife of Eric Forrester in "The bold and the Beautiful":
Wow you are so right! Clever observation! I totally agree and if I may add, we need to vote vote vote in the final to make a statement - more art, more intelligence, smart is fun!!!
Here's the translation: What could be the secret of Meghan Markle’s healthy hair? What could it be? What could be the secret of Meghan Markle’s healthy hair? What could it be? What could it be? Latin part is In a healthy body, in a healthy body In a healthy body, in a healthy body In a healthy body, in a healthy body the body is healthy, so what do we do now? A sick mind in a healthy body A sad soul in a healthy body A desperate mind in a healthy body A frightened mind in a healthy body So what do we do now?
the song, in its form, is a free flow of thoughts provoked by the beauty article on shiny celebrity's hair. the song is very satirical and speaks about lot of issues and has many layers, but most important one is people's obsession with physical health and looks because of trends imposed by celebrities (megan markle's hair) or beacuse of the necessity - an artist, usually invisible by the system, doesn't have health insurance and needs to check symptoms with dr. google or pray to god to be healthy. also, trying to prevent the disease by washing hands is ultimate imperative while mental health is often neglected. "the body is healthy.. what do we do now? A weak mind in a healthy body, A sad soul in a healthy body, A desperate mind in a healthy body, A frightened mind in a healthy body. so what do we do now?"
You forgot to turn on English subtitles for this song. Noone saw this coming as a winner until final and she got as much votes as runner up and third place together. Serbs were tired of ethno ballads and cheese pop songs. They thought it is better to take a risk and send something different. I feel sorry for Sara Jo. It is great song to miss Eurovision.
In Serbia, musicians and artists aren’t covered by their national health insurance. ^^^as long as all the commentators mention this in May she’ll have a chance.
It’s not about of Serbian health insurance at all but more how world treat health more and more as physical appearance so the only things it seems to be important is how you look
@@archigal I’m going to comment it EVERYWHERE. On TH-cam, in the newspaper, on tv, on radio, you simply won’t be able to escape my Serbian health insurance comment.
Hey Noosh You look stunning as always. I think I need to explain what is going on here hahaha First of all this is everything but not a joke entry. I genuinely think this is the best serbian song in Eurovision so far. She is singing about how our health system is broken and she is doing it in very smart way. People here are dying cause they don’t have a health insurance and also we have to pay private clinics to run the health test cause you have to wait for the appointment for like three months. I think Sara Jo and Zorja are amazing and they would definitely place high but this song is a complete masterpiece and I’m glad that we are sending something different. Sending love to you from Serbia 🇷🇸❤️
This song is about mental health, OCD, you can see that in the video, thats the reason why she is washing her hands, than she use the towel, and again washes her hands. This lyrics is just the thoughts of some people who's been going through it, so I can really understand it, and I love it. She's making joke of those thoughts and that's her way to battling them. She's talking about selflove and selfcourage. She's also talking about health system and fears. She said that this song is not about corona. I know that this song sounds stupid and funny at first hearing, but its very intelligent...
There are many messages here. 1. The beauty is not everything, mental health and soul are important too. 2. Artists in Serbia and world are often invisible, they have not helth insurance, but they have to be healthy. 3. Because of this, we have one solution: to pray to God for health (renesanse priests around her) and there is comparation between religion and science... Layered song with strong messages in this pure artistic performance. Avant-garde! ❤️ Turn on translate! ❤️
Parts of the song are in Latin, a play on the famous Latin proverb Mens sana in corpore sano. However, she rearranged it, so the health of your body comes before the mental health. The first line is actually in reverse - Mens enfermos in corpore sano (a sick mind in a healthy body). As for the Megan Markle part, it's a jab at mainstream media and what's being broadcasted as huge news, and how media reinforces our obsession with appearance and with the superficial. Illness is reflected on your face and body, you can't risk getting sick, you've got to stay beautiful. Stay beautiful, stay healthy, illness is not pretty. And then there's the fact that she, as an artist, has got no health insurance. I'm surprised the song won in the election year, but I guess Vucic's (cult) followers missed the point (one of many points) of the song xD
Song is about current situation in world ..everyone speaking about body health. .body health....but soul suffer these days and nobody care..they only speak wash your hands..be body healthy...At the end of the song, in Latin is most important message for this song.. it says In a healthy body, in a healthy body.. the body is healthy.. what do we do now? A weak mind in a healthy body, A sad soul in a healthy body, A desperate mind in a healthy body, A frightened mind in a healthy body.. so what do we do now?
I can totally imagine everybody jumping up and down to the chorus 🤣🤣🤣 I've been addicted for three weeks now, just can't get it out of my head 🤣 Noosh, take a look at some Zemlja gruva (her band) work and at her Triptih. Just take some time and simply enjoy it. I am certain you will appreciate it. The only regret I have when it comes to this particular song is that it doesn't quite show what an amazing singer she is (but then again, the way she uses her voice is scarily accurate, controled and smart). Cheers!
For anyone interested here’s an explanation of the song: 1)The name of the song corpore sano is in latin and it’s short from the latin saying "Mens sana in corpore sano" meaning "A healthy mind in a healthy body" 2)”What's the secret behind Meghan Markles healhy hair?” part refers to mainstream media constantly bombing us with different health tips that are usually there just to promote products and/or make us more insecure. 3)The part saying that an enlarged spleen isn't pretty refers to people making assumptions about someone's health just based on their looks and emphasizing physical health while a person can look really good but have many mental health issues no one knows about. 4)Artists in Serbia aren't recognized as workers by law so they don't get free health insurance meaning they have to pay to be treated in private clinics which a lot of them can't afford including Konstrakta's former band member which died of leukemia cause he couldn't afford treatment. The first and second chorus are different. The first one says "An artist MUST be healthy" referring to international artists that get free healthcare, while the second one says "An artist CAN be healthy" referring to artists in serbia and the healthcare system not caring about their well-being. 5)The part where she prays to god for health and says she puts her trust in her heart beating refers to her having to rely on god and her own body to regulate her health cause that's her only option being an artist in Serbia. 6)The part where she says the artist is invisible and it’s like magic refers to artists not being recognized by the government and the healthcare system. 7)The last part of the song is in latin and it refers to people prioritizing physical health and outside looks over mental health which is also very important. Now let’s talk about the staging: 1)The obsessive hand-washing refers to COVID 19 and the importance of keeping your hands clean again massively talked about in the mainstream media. It also can be paying homage to one of Marina Abramovic’s (internationally known Serbian performance artist) performances called “Art must be pretty, an artist must be pretty” where she sits for hours combing her hair while repeating that cause she realized people focused a lot on her looks and her hair being messy and prioritized that over her art. 2)People standing behind her can be priests that pray for her health and/or are getting ready for her to die.
The meaning of the song is very deep: There are several messages: 1. In the time of COVID everybody is brainwashed that they have to do this, that,to stay physically healthy…. And what about mental health after all that? 2. She wears a medical uniform and washes her hands: this is how she describes medical person when someone without a health card comes for treatment ( they wash their hands of that person, it doesn’t exist) 3. People who do not have free health care , and they do not have money , can die freely without a guilty conscience 4. The people around her in back looks to me like rippers, just waiting for those who can’t afford treatment or they could be priests cause there is only left to pray when u can’t afford the treatment or health insurance 5. The general opinion that one must be beautiful, and in order to be beautiful one must be physically healthy. No once cares about mental health anymore, which is also important 6. She is also like a fortune teller looking at her hands trying to figure out why she is sick and what symptoms does she have cuz she can’t afford health care insurance 7. Artists in Serbia don’t have Heath care insurance and her friend died of cancer because of that 8. Obsession with a healthy body while the mind is desperate sick sad and frightened
3:19 "I don't have social insurance!" Deep lyrics! Deep message! "Artist don't have medical insurance, so it "must" be healthy!" Must?! We are just "washing" our hands off each other, while people still dying somewhere... (while we wear pink glasses?) In what world do we live? This song is a high art satiric masterpiece!
This song about health. I opened the subtitles and learnt. The song is so catchy I mean the some parts... Serbia is 15th in my TOP28 :) It can qualify if they put the English lyrics on the screens :) Those are my thoughts 😇🇷🇸
(Verse 1) What is the secret behind Meghan Markle's healthy hair? What could be the secret? What is the secret behind Meghan Markle's healthy hair? What could it be? (What could be the secret?) I think that secret is the deep hydration As they say, one's skin and hair reveal everything clearly For example: dark circles around eyes point out to liver issues Stains around lips might mean you have an enlarged spleen An enlarged spleen is not good, not pretty Because an artist - she has to be healthy
(Bridge) (She has to) be healthy, be healthy, Be healthy, be be be be healthy Be healthy, be healthy Be healthy, she has to, has to, has to
(Verse 2) It's such fortune that the autonomic nervous system exists So I don't have to control my heartbeats because the heart beats, it beats on its own Summer days, bright colors of the skirt on my body of my skirt, my dog and I we are taking a walk, counting our steps the skirt goes around my leg we are taking a walk and that's it And it doesn't have to be better than that, the heart beats on its own I put my trust in it, that it beats on its own I put my trust in it, that it beats, that I breathe God give (me) health, God give health, God give health (God give health)
I don't have the (health) card Oh, so how will they monitor me (In the name of health) and care about me (In the name of health) An artist (she) is invisible (In the name of health) You don't see me, it's magic (In the name of health) An artist, she can be healthy
(Bridge) (She can) be healthy, be healthy, Be healthy, be be be be healthy Be healthy, be healthy Be healthy, she can, she can, she can
Chorus: In a healthy body, in a healthy body In a healthy body, in a healthy body In a healthy body, in a healthy body the body is healthy, so what do we do now? A sick mind in a healthy body A sad soul in a healthy body A desperate mind in a healthy body A frightened mind in a healthy body53 So what do we do now?
This should be taken as a whole, as a performance, not just as a music number. It is actually a pure artistic theatrical monodrama in four acts packed in just 3 minutes. The vocals fit perfectly into a fantastically arranged musical matrix around a hypnotic rhythm that mimics the heartbeat (pay attention to all the details). The live broadcast of the stage performance was excellently directed and performed on a world level. All together, enough to be a masterpiece, even in the selection of the famous theater festival in Edinburgh. And the story is as follows. (To better understand, turn on subtitles/cc). Intro - EVERYTHING IS UPSIDE DOWN A modified Latin saying: a sick mind in a healthy body was read backwards. Act one - ROUTINE We waste time following celebrities and other people's lives, we make diagnoses ourselves, discuss about them and other nonsense through the social networks (what is the secret of Megan Markle's healthy hair?). It is opsesion with outfit аnd it`s compared to health. Deeper, it becomes normal, and in fact dictated behavior that the "system" encourages (chorus: "what is the secret?") as healthy behavior, although it is meaningless (dark circles have to do with ...). So, expectation is that artress also must be part of this "normal behaviours" (MUST be healthy). Act two - LONELINESS We are now part of this routines, some system control our fundamental functions (heart ticking and breathing), we are alive, in virtual world and it's OK. But we are alone. No children, no friends, just a dog as a companion and synonym for those who living alone in the cities. We are walking satisfied but without sense, with empty mind (counting steps, and that's all). Verse "dog and I", on Serbian "pas i ja", have another meaning too. when it says fast as one word, become "pasija" - the Passion. In this case, loneliness compares with the Passion of Christ, who was left to himself on his way to Golgotha to count his steps. Act three - COGNITION *"Nemam knjižicu" means "I don't have a booklet". This is actually a question and it is not a Health Insurance as it`s translated, it is not mentioned, but it is a symbol of belonging to a system or organization; health system, political party, social club, library... All of them have all the information about us and are constantly "watching" us, offering products, monitoring our work on the networks, giving guidelines on what to do ... * What if I am not a member? If I'm out of system? We will lost our followers, others will not monitor us anymore (what is normal, healthy), nobody will "care" about us, or organize our life (what is normal, healthy), and artress become invisible when she is out of system. Act four - WAKING UP The absence of system influence artress see like a magic, becouse it means independence, so she CAN be healthy, with open mind, according to Latin saying "men sana in corpore sano" (healthy mind in healthy body). Can be, can be, can be. conclusion - WHAT'S ABOUT MIND? Everything is about body condition (corpore sano, corpore sano, corpus is sano - and body is healthy), but no one talks about the state of mind. So, she mentions those states of mind and ask: And what shell we do? And finally, the messages from the stage and the video. When health is mentioned, "people in black" show that their "hands are clean", and at the same time, turning palms shows that something is not normal, and at the background we can see mutations of the coronavirus formed by hands. We need to be washed constantly, to be clean. Our mind same as our body. Either others will wash our mind for their own needs or we have to wash it from other influences. Again and again... In the same time the "system" washes its hands of responsibility, like Pontius Pilate in washbowl. So, regardless of the placement, her performance is a victory because a strong, well-packaged message was placed to the world.
IN CORPORE SANO (in a healthy body) is a song that will represent Serbia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 in Turin, Italy. The music was written by Ana Đurić and Milovan Bošković, and the lyrics by Ana Đurić, who performs under the pseudonym Konstrakta. In corpore sano is an excerpt from the saying - men sana In corpore sano, which means healthy spirit in a healthy body, a verse written by the Roman poet Juvenal, born around the sixties of the new era. And this saying is taken from the verse which reads in its entirety - one should pray for a healthy spirit in a healthy body, ie "orandum est ut sit mens sana in corpore sano". In this original song, at the beginning there is a conditional and at the end the main title - "What are we going to do now?", What are we going to do now if we have a healthy body and a sick spirit, because we are not in healthy but sick times. The essence of Ana Đurić's text is the question - what if we are healthy if our mind is sick? She expresses it in the words - "the body is healthy and what will we do now, a weak mind in a healthy body, a sad soul in a healthy body, a desperate mind in a healthy body, a frightened mind in a healthy body" ... rhythm, Ana actually lets out a howl of despair of a modern man who promotes at all costs a healthy body, physics, matter, supplements, drugs, vaccines and constant hand washing, without anyone caring about the spirit that is sick due to the influence of propaganda, forcing false values for the purpose of general deafening. Humanity is healthy, but the spirit of the times is sick - weak, sad, desperate and scared. I read and listened to many comments that explained why this song won. I also voted for her for several reasons, and here are the main ones. It is important to say that I have been following Eurovision regularly since 1962, for a full 60 years. Although there were several misses, almost all the winning songs of that international competition deserved it with their quality, which was confirmed by the court of time. In the great competition, the song by Ana Đurić and Milovan Bošković was a real refreshment, because it exuded sincerity. The strength of the winning song is that it is not an imitation, but an original whose fuel is a special and unique artistic personality. It affected the audience who recognized it and gave their voice. Comparisons with Marina Abramović and her performances are completely wrong. In these comparisons, perhaps given with the best intentions, the idea of imitation is in fact unfounded. However, the original performance of the Handwashing Contract cannot be questioned by these comments. Washing hands with singing is a great choreographic solution for the title verse of the song - in a healthy body. The song certainly has the features of engaged art, which critically looks at the pandemic of the virus that kept the whole world in prison for two years in the form of satire. Hand washing symbolizes not only something that the health authorities have constantly recommended, but also alludes to hand washing from the responsibility of those who are guilty of this world scam. Although the text is insufficiently understood, and will not be understood by millions of viewers around the world, hand washing will speak for itself more than a thousand words. Unlike others, Konstrakta performed herself, not some imaginary superstar. The song was composed directly from the heart and is performed from the beginning to the end within the limits of the author's power. She does not strive to sing something she cannot, but within the limits of her power she gives the best she can. That must work, because it is true. As a person pressed by the collective fear that was deliberately propagated in the world for two years, Ana exclaimed - it was enough, what I wanted to say and I didn't. I trust her too. I am sure that, regardless of the malicious criticism that can be heard, this artist will win a high place in a major international competition (if held), and more than anyone so far will present Serbia as a country where people think for themselves. Hand washing as a symbol of cleansing from dirt will be well received not only as a kind of marking the end of the pandemic and all controversies, but also an invitation to start washing hands from all diseases of this world, which is not in the corner and which lacks Juvenile - we should pray for a healthy mind in a healthy body. In the end, I would not like to wash my hands out of Konstrakta's performance at Eurovision, and replace it with something else, on the advice of any so-called marketing team, because that would kill the very essence of the message, which will, regardless of hard-to-understand words I am sure that I will convey a clear message coming from Serbia to millions of viewers, which is that, in fact, without a healthy spirit, there is no healthy body (Google translate). @@michelasdisappointmentanda2304 Euro Neuro was written by a filosophe, The song is very plotical and has meaningful lyric about financial change and the Euro as valuta. And for me they both sound weird and I don't really like both. But I can appreciate the meaning
It has many meaning some that I didn't see ppl mention in the comments: 1. The conflict between the Christian church and the vaccination proces. (The church is famously against the vaccine saying that is the devils work) That's why the choir members kinda resemble priests with the white and black combination. 2. One of her friends died of cancer cause she didn't have health insurance 3. She herself doesn't have any health insurance 4. Obsessively washing her hands cause of the fear that the virus crisis has bestowed on our society. Fearing getting sick cause there aren't doctors that will treat you if you don't have health care or money to pay their expensive services. 5. The second part is referring to mental health and how it's not being talked enough about in Serbia and in countries in general. When someone needs the help of a professional they don't go to the doctor cause a psychiatric visit costs way to much and is generally stigmatized. Those ppl with problems go then to the church for help. And that's how it all circles around to the beginning.
Čekala sam tvoj komentar 😄! Ćao iz Srbije ! 👋🇷🇸 The text of the song is layered and has more frills, as stated by Konstrakta herself. The title " Corpore sano " is part of Latin proverb " Mens sana in corpore sano " meaning A healthy mind in healthy body .The main topic that I would like to single out is excessive health care (which the media imposed on us many years ago, such as "revealing the secret" of Megan M.'s healthy hair, through the warning that the most important thing is to wash our hands so that we don't get sick from covids). ) that it leads to impaired health in the head, that we become desperate, sad, scared ... Mens infirma in corpore sano Animus tristis in corpore sano Mens desperata in corpore sano Mens conterrita in corpore sano I šta ćemo sad. A sick mind in a healthy body A sad soul in a healthy body A desperate mind in a healthy body A terrified mind in a healthy body The corpus is sanum and what shall we do now Konstrakta: As she explained, the song on the one hand represents an atmosphere of fear in which health is placed as the greatest value behind enormous consumption. Health is talked about as something that is completely in our control, but if we follow the trends and buy what is placed. On the other hand, it is possible to achieve a common sense relationship in which health is somewhat in our hands, and illness and death are accepted with less fear.
No it is not joking 👍This is risk and bicame Dark Horse in Serbia for 24h... Genius, conceptual art.. and something different .... Goooo Konstracta.. The health soul 🔝✊
This song is everything but a joke. It's a pure art! The song has so many layers, but the main concept is that the artists in Serbia have no health insurance, so she needs to stay healthy since she is invisibile to the system. This song could be the worst for the eurovision, but what is important is the message. The art needs to come back. She reminds me of Marina Abramovic, the top performance artist in the world.

It’s an easy qualifier no doubt about that. And will probably do quite well in the final because it’s a unique masterpiece. Noosh how can you say that Sara Jo was better than this? It was just another striptease with a beat behind it. And zojra I haven’t listened to. But this is pure art. Noosh you don’t want to be narrow minded about music by thinking only the fast food generic music is good. That’s a narrow minded viewpoint.
Muskarcina is far from fast food generic music lmao. Its 9/8 time signature alone sets it apart from every song participating or attempting to participate in the contest this year.
Sorry but this is in no way an easy qualifier. If it qualifies it will be in the 7-10 position, definitely won't be top 5 in the semi. She is lucky Montenegro and North Macedonia are voting in her semi as well as Malta, Germany and Sweden (countries with large Serbian diaspora populations). I don't expect her to get many points from other countries, my prediction is that she will either not qualify or end up around 20th place in the final.
well said. Sara Jo is just like when the photocopier is running out of ink. Roneoed over and over...and this is the very last copy. Zorja is just another boring Slavic/Byzantin Goddess lost between paganism and baptizing
She is a Queen👸 and true artist. Only people with higher consciousness understand this song. And yes, it changes much that is in Serbian. It won't really have the same point if it is translated in English. And I am glad that a woman with no fillers and extra lashes and botox with clothes from a thrift shop won. She is beautiful and amazing. And the song is a game changer.
very weird but not a joke entry. I would stage it differently and reinforce the instrumental parts which are very good. Honestly, I don't expect a girl named Noosh who loves Italian entry to like or understand this. This song mocks precisely this type of basic white girls.
This is so good on so many levels. Honestly, it would be unfair to expect that someone with such a bad music taste appreciates anything whish is not basic, commercial, American/British-inspired pop. The song is social commentary about absurd celeb culture (of which Noosh is probably a big fan), mental health, health insurance etc.
This song needs to be listen more than once is just that kind of song you can't wrap your hand around everything what's going on in this song when you hear it to first time
I undestand that this song is not easy to understand at first listen, but looking for a traslation of the lyrics before labelling it "a joke entry" should be the bare minimum.
I have mixed feelings about this song. I like the message the song is presenting...but the actual song I don't really like. (the part where she is making the hand gestures is kinda catchy but the rest of the song is meh) I feel like the general Eurovision audience aren't going to get it on the night.
In Serbian lenguage is an expression " Washing there hands from it.". Meaning when somebody did some wrong to someone, and then tried to camouflage whole situation, to blame somebody else, or even a victim, for consequences. Like with situation with virus and big corporations which they earned on us... like taking care of our body during past to years, then like with v. aci. Cnes, bat terorising us with fear At there is coming to " In healthy body healthy mind", where we are forced to take only care of our body (especially in last two years), where our mind health and souls stays behind

@@DaOneFame No she really didnt expect nor come to competition to win. She just wanna spread the message and she did it.

Nah it will qualify. Usually it's only actual bad songs and generic stuff that doesn't go through.
And it came 5th, I voted for it haha :)
One of the most sophisticated and multi-layered entries of all time! It's a true masterpiece 😍
Say whaaaaaaaaat???? Sophisticated???
@@pauljanjacobs It is sophisticated, because it is well thought out on so many levels. Everything she does or says has a meaning. But is is not too obvious and that makes it so sophisticated 😃
basically the latin part of the song in the end sums it up: physical health means nothing if you don't look after your mental health
It's actually the other way around
I don't think she was trying to be racist. Meghan is a beautiful woman and has lovely hair.
@@paschipaschipaschi What she said about Megan:
I decided to mention Megan in the song because the newspapers write that she has beautiful hair ...
It is a serious song. It requires more than one listen though

Excellent and mindful elaboration of this unusual but for me an attractive song
And talk about grower. She had double the votes of Sara in the finals, but finished 3rd in her Semi by the public... Biti zdrava!

This is brilliant! I recommend to read about the message of the song to enjoy it more.
So, believe me, a very strong song - a lot. the song, in its form, is a free flow of thoughts provoked by the beauty article on shiny celebrity's hair. the song is very satirical and speaks about lot of issues and has many layers, but most important one is people's obsession with physical health and looks because of trends imposed by celebrities (megan markle's hair) or beacuse of the necessity - an artist, usually invisible by the system, doesn't have health insurance and needs to check symptoms with dr. google or pray to god to be healthy. also, trying to prevent the disease by washing hands is ultimate imperative while mental health is often neglected.

This is so awesome on so many levels!
Wishing her all the best. Konstrakta ♥️
You've got to watch again with subtitles ON - and you'll either like it or hate it even more!
Noosh make a video reaction about lyrics and meaning. It is what makes the song the best among the Biti Zdrava
Song is about current situation in world ..everyone speaking about body
health. .body health....but soul suffer these days and nobody care..they
only speak wash your hands..be body healthy...At the end of the
song, in Latin is most important message for this song.. it says
In a healthy body, in a healthy body..
the body is healthy.. what do we do now?
A weak mind in a healthy body,
A sad soul in a healthy body,
A desperate mind in a healthy body,
A frightened mind in a healthy body..
so what do we do now?
This is one of the best entries Eurovision contest ever had! Pure art!!
Cheers!
I think they should put subtitles on for the live Eurovision performance. Coz the message is really lost without it
JUST TURN ON ENGISH SERBIAN SUB
Song is pure art made to send a message on original way. And you are also so cute
For anyone interested here’s an explanation of the song:
1)The name of the song corpore sano is in latin and it’s short from the latin saying "Mens sana in corpore sano" meaning "A healthy mind in a healthy body"
2)”What's the secret behind Meghan Markles healhy hair?” part refers to mainstream media constantly bombing us with different health tips that are usually there just to promote products and/or make us more insecure.
Now let’s talk about the staging:
1)The obsessive hand-washing refers to COVID 19 and the importance of keeping your hands clean again massively talked about in the mainstream media.
The meaning of the song is very deep: There are several messages:
1. In the time of COVID everybody is brainwashed that they have to do this, that,to stay physically healthy…. And what about mental health after all that?
2. She wears a medical uniform and washes her hands: this is how she describes medical person when someone without a health card comes for treatment ( they wash their hands of that person, it doesn’t exist)
3. People who do not have free health care , and they do not have money , can die freely without a guilty conscience
4. The people around her in back looks to me like rippers, just waiting for those who can’t afford treatment or they could be priests cause there is only left to pray when u can’t afford the treatment or health insurance
5. The general opinion that one must be beautiful, and in order to be beautiful one must be physically healthy. No once cares about mental health anymore, which is also important
6. She is also like a fortune teller looking at her hands trying to figure out why she is sick and what symptoms does she have cuz she can’t afford health care insurance
7. Artists in Serbia don’t have Heath care insurance and her friend died of cancer because of that

This is all about mental health.
Mass hypnosis! 😆 Poker face
Catch, catch, catchy!
Lyrics:
(Intro)
Onas eroproc ni amrifni snem*
(Verse 1)
What is the secret behind Meghan Markle's healthy hair?
What could be the secret?
What is the secret behind Meghan Markle's healthy hair?
What could it be? (What could be the secret?)
I think that secret is the deep hydration
As they say, one's skin and hair reveal everything clearly
For example: dark circles around eyes point out to liver issues
Stains around lips might mean you have an enlarged spleen
An enlarged spleen is not good, not pretty
Because an artist - she has to be healthy
(Bridge)
(She has to) be healthy, be healthy,
Be healthy, be be be be healthy
Be healthy, be healthy
Be healthy, she has to, has to, has to
(Verse 2)
It's such fortune that
the autonomic nervous system exists
So I don't have to control my heartbeats
because the heart beats, it beats on its own
Summer days, bright colors of the skirt on my body
of my skirt, my dog and I
we are taking a walk, counting our steps
the skirt goes around my leg
we are taking a walk and that's it
And it doesn't have to be better than that, the heart beats on its own
I put my trust in it, that it beats on its own
I put my trust in it, that it beats, that I breathe
God give (me) health, God give health, God give health
(God give health)
I don't have the (health) card
Oh, so how will they monitor me (In the name of health)
and care about me (In the name of health)
An artist (she) is invisible (In the name of health)
You don't see me, it's magic (In the name of health)
An artist, she can be healthy
(Bridge)
(She can) be healthy, be healthy,
Be healthy, be be be be healthy
Be healthy, be healthy
Be healthy, she can, she can, she can
Chorus:
In a healthy body, in a healthy body
In a healthy body, in a healthy body
In a healthy body, in a healthy body
the body is healthy, so what do we do now?
A sick mind in a healthy body
A sad soul in a healthy body
A desperate mind in a healthy body
A frightened mind in a healthy body53
So what do we do now?
Intro - EVERYTHING IS UPSIDE DOWN
A modified Latin saying: a sick mind in a healthy body was read backwards.
Act one - ROUTINE
We waste time following celebrities and other people's lives, we make diagnoses ourselves, discuss about them and other nonsense through the social networks (what is the secret of Megan Markle's healthy hair?).
Act two - LONELINESS
We are now part of this routines, some system control our fundamental functions (heart ticking and breathing), we are alive, in virtual world and it's OK.
Act three - COGNITION
*"Nemam knjižicu" means "I don't have a booklet". *
What if I am not a member? If I'm out of system?
We will lost our followers, others will not monitor us anymore (what is normal, healthy), nobody will "care" about us, or organize our life (what is normal, healthy), and artress become invisible when she is out of system.
Act four - WAKING UP
The absence of system influence artress see like a magic, becouse it means independence, so she CAN be healthy, with open mind, according to Latin saying "men sana in corpore sano" (healthy mind in healthy body).
You like that because is pure art. 😙
No, girl. IT is multi layered song and the MAIN point is on HUMANITY's MENTAL HEALTH!!! In short :)
This song reminds me of Euro Neuro, really meaningful lyrics, but really weird
Euro Neuro was a bad joke entry. This is almost art. Dont compare the two
@@michelasdisappointmentanda2304 Euro Neuro was written by a filosophe, The song is very plotical and has meaningful lyric about financial change and the Euro as valuta. And for me they both sound weird and I don't really like both. But I can appreciate the meaning
euro neuro was so iconic
It has many meaning some that I didn't see ppl mention in the comments:
1. The conflict between the Christian church and the vaccination proces. (The church is famously against the vaccine saying that is the devils work) That's why the choir members kinda resemble priests with the white and black combination.
2. One of her friends died of cancer cause she didn't have health insurance
3. She herself doesn't have any health insurance
OMG Two of you look a like. STRONG LOOK ! BRIGHT EYES ! ✨❤️😂
Čekala sam tvoj komentar 😄! Ćao iz Srbije ! 👋🇷🇸
The text of the song is layered and has more frills, as stated by Konstrakta herself.
Mens infirma in corpore sano
Animus tristis in corpore sano
Mens desperata in corpore sano
Mens conterrita in corpore sano
I šta ćemo sad.
A sick mind in a healthy body
A sad soul in a healthy body
A desperate mind in a healthy body
A terrified mind in a healthy body
The corpus is sanum and what shall we do now
Konstrakta: As she explained, the song on the one hand represents an atmosphere of fear in which health is placed as the greatest value behind enormous consumption. Health is talked about as something that is completely in our control, but if we follow the trends and buy what is placed. On the other hand, it is possible to achieve a common sense relationship in which health is somewhat in our hands, and illness and death are accepted with less fear.
This is a pure art. Like if you send Marina Abramovich on Eurovision contest , the woman has amazing eyes something very mysterious about her.

I find this entry more interesting than many of the Esc '22. And of course, more interesting than the last two years Serbian entries. 💚
This song mocks precisely this type of basic white girls.
lmaoo purr
@@stefan98TH but its true...
@@edmundtory6931 that’s what purr means sister
This is so good on so many levels. Honestly, it would be unfair to expect that someone with such a bad music taste appreciates anything whish is not basic, commercial, American/British-inspired pop. The song is social commentary about absurd celeb culture (of which Noosh is probably a big fan), mental health, health insurance etc.
This song needs to be listen more than once is just that kind of song you can't wrap your hand around everything what's going on in this song when you hear it to first time
Art and activism!
Pure art ❤️ 🇷🇸
I undestand that this song is not easy to understand at first listen, but looking for a traslation of the lyrics before labelling it "a joke entry" should be the bare minimum.
"Why do I like it?"
I'm gonna tell you why do you like it. Because this is very good.
Greetings from Poland.
Like with situation with virus and big corporations which they earned on us... like taking care of our body during past to years, then like with
v. aci. Cnes,
bat terorising us with fear
At there is coming to " In healthy body healthy mind", where we are forced to take only care of our body (especially in last two years), where our mind health and souls stays behind
Noosh ♥️🙋🇲🇰🇲🇰🇲🇰
Song have to.many deep thoughts and messages, anyway its to late for me to explain you. Its 3:38 AM 😅 I will tomorow but someone will explain way earlier😂😂😂
we are confused also :D
Pontius Pilate was the first to wash his hands?
OMG Great connection! Wow.
You and Konstrakta look alike a bit 😊
off topic, but you kinda look like Konstrakta?! Literally the same eyes :D so cool
Just put the Subtitles on!
It has so much meaning!
This is risky, it can do either way.. We'll see in May I guess..
OMG love your eyes! There is a deep message here. There are English subtitles on the most viewed video . Check them out!
And yes it is so addictive and refreshing
I Love your Reaction 😂😂😂
I think they should put subtitles on for the whole performance. Coz the message is really lost without it
