I've seen a LOT of MY walkthroughs and for me i LOVE this Princess coupe! 3 spacious cabins with galley-down is a great layout for liveaboard and long passages for small families with a minimal crew of 1-2 or owner/operator. I can't imagine changing anything!

  • @douglasmetry2908

Great video as always, Nick. There’s something about the round relaxation area complete with a table in the middle, right beside the helm, that seems like it was inspired by the interior of the Millennium Falcon from Star Wars! Lovely boat by the way - seemed relatively perfect!

A very nice yacht indeed, I really liked that circular lounge!
I’d love to see you do a super detailed, in-depth tour of a boat where you go and show what’s behind every hatch, in every cupboard, every little nook and cranny.
I see so many outlines of doors and hatches, and I can’t help wondering ‘what’s in there?’
Case in point; hatches in the crew cabin:
-On the floor between the berths
    -Behind the entrance stepladder
-next to the loo in the crew head
-behind the loo in the crew head
Then, as you’re heading out of the crew cabin,(11:53) you can see two more external doors next to the steps
    Thanks again for the tour!

    • @AQUAHOLIC
      @AQUAHOLIC  5 ปีที่แล้ว

That would be a very long and uninteresting video! :D Most of those hatches are just service access to wiring and plumbing in case it is ever needed.

I love the older layouts were they focus main seating for saloon couches and a small dianette as most of the time you dine alfresco! And galley down so main deck is all about relaxing watching tv or conversation deep into the night sipping cocktails! The new s78 is a stunning machine but it lacks main deck saloon seating! In this 72 you can easily seat 8 facing the tv but on the s78 its only 6 with the opposing seating making up 8 but they cant see the tv behind their heads! I love pershing8x it has galley down and huge saloon seating and the sunseeker predator 74 has galley down to! I would still buy the s78 as im a big princess fan but id love if they left galley down and smaller dianette to leave large saloon couches! But like any yacht nothing is perfect there is always things you would change so its finding the right boat for you with as little oddities as possible that you can accept ! Cheers Nick i found out if you type princess or sunseeker boats for sale into TH-cam your videos come up on top in masses! Great for your channel growth!! Happy sailing

Wow this is a 6 year old Yacht it looks very much like current new model from Princess the cockpit is just party & fun time for families friends or that lucky millionaire with cash to spare as a weekend retreat, the saloon is 'fabulous' it looks so modern luxury yet comfortable big spaces, the helm does not look 6 years old at all, very modern screens & instrumentation was surprised! always liked a downstairs galley frees up the saloon area into a bigger social area very nice galley of course, Princess always do great VIP & Master cabins always looking very luxury big and spacious ~ nice price compared to a new 2019 model … especially so considering it still looks like a current model itself this 2013 model V72 … yet another great video thank you!

This is one of the nicer ive seen. Two upgrades i would have done, is getting the tv upstairs to something a lot larger and get a much beefier stereosystem. The enginespace looks tiny though, with my size im able to walk between the engines, but getting within reach to fix/replace anything at the sides would be impossible. Need a skinny and short mechanic for that. Up here in the north, where weather can turn bad in a hurry, dont need a flybridge (less cushions etc etc to quickly stash away etc).

Nick, first, great video as always. Next, I couldn't believe it when you said how fast this yacht goes and when you stood up in the engine room I flipped. I have to believe from a maintenance standpoint that is a huge, huge bonus. Lastly, I finally figured out how to fast forward videos. I won't say names, but after watching your videos, I'm catching myself fast-forwarding through your competitor's videos that aren't up to your standards. ( People filming from as low as their knees, constantly shooting ceilings or floors not to mention some god-awful music )

Is there a way to extend the boats range if you are wanting to travel longer distances?
Would the boat be capable of crossing the Pacific or Atlantic Oceans?

Palma? I thought you were in Cannes? ;) I guess it's still one from before :)
Another really nice boat. It just keeps on amazing me how much they can cram into a small boat without it looking cramped. Amazing engineering!
Looking forward to your videos from Cannes ;)

I dont understand not having a fly bridge, it's free real estate.

      Me neither!
A 50 foot flybridge offers the same amount of space, costs a lot less and you can anchor in smaller bays too...

Agree. This size "sport cruisers" seem pointless to me.

Style mostly, also lower CoG, less to clean and some people just prefer the opening roof over the lower helm. Think of it like a Porsche 911 instead of a Cayenne.

This is one of my favorites because it's large enough to host a small group and small enough to handle without a crew. It's also within the realm of financial possibility for me.

@@zzanatos2001 then I would suggest first getting something in the 50 foot range. A 70 footer doesn't need a crew but a 50 footer is a lot easier to handle. Work your way up.
