im from singapore and iirc there's only 9 teams now in the singapore premier league so i was a bit surprised to see 20 teams in the division but nonetheless glad to see a run with a singapore team!
How does Singapore even have up to 20 teams in one city

ah yeah, as someone who's managed in asia in past FMs, i knew immediately giving everyone singaporean nationality was going to bite you with those regional tournaments. might have been an idea to give them secondary nationalities and declare them for their real national teams
some of the teams in the league are real teams for example Yishun Sentek, but they play in amateur leagues that are run by the FAS, but seeing teams like Gombak Utd and Warriors is surprising judging that they dont exist anymore

Btw, congrats for the win in Asian Cup. Let’s just say that being a pussy to Vietnamese diaspora players give us a middle finger and the amateur nature of V-League backfired badly, but can’t disregard your team with the “naturalization” card when it’s Marcelino, Asnawi and Arhan that cause most troubles. A strong Southeast Asia make good AFF Cup matches, when the quality actually match the level of the sacred keyboard war.
I'm Singaporean and a Hougang United fan but nonetheless enjoy that our league got mentioned haha.

I think that the league popularity position would have been higher if instead of making all of them Singaporean, you just gave them a Singapore second/third nationality. That way the players go on to win world cups with better national teams, so they become more popular

The squad registration rules are why DPMM in the Singapore league, and winning big with them, is the hardest challenge in FM.

Hear me out: 10 Subscribers pick a team of their choice (Wigan, Pisa, Braunshcweig, Etc.) and you have a list of the top 30 players in the world. Draft order for the subscibers 10 teams to pick 3 players each. Perhaps 1 attack, 1 mid, 1 defence. (could be goalie for 4th) Then you see whos team does best. Maybe same league so they can all be together, or a custom league/tournament? If this works out I choose FK Sarajevo broski ;)
Next time, can you make it so that they go to 2 teams instead. Also, making them have singapore nationalities was cool so what about splitting them to 2 nationalities as well so that we can see 2 unconventional national teams maybe winning/going far in the world cup
