Beastie boys deserve their own genre. maybe the clash started the genre arguably but I dont think you can necessarily pin them into ONE genre otherwise. I have loved them since 1985, listen to them regularly AND daily, turned every available cd into mp3 player have it on random shuffle and STILL stumble across stuff like this that they did I haven't ever heard. thank you for putting this on :)

When Hello Nasty released in 98 I went to Independent Records to pick it up. As I was checking out the clerk told me he got a promo Beastie Boys CD in their shipment and asked if I wanted it. It's on a CDr and is an unofficial release. I don't know how many copies were made.
