What a masterpiece. On the shocks thing I'd go olive drab to match the body in the front and for contrast to the rails in back . Then name it Oliver . Ive always named my rigs because strangely they all develope a personality and find the same to be true for crawling as is for the go fasts . Wishing you health and safety as we roll into the holidays and look forward to your ceaseless ranting 😂
Vanquish has a dig unit for the standard VFD. This truck is closer to the Fordyce than the VRD is actually lol. Same trans in all 3, portals only on the VRD. I added the dig unit to my VFD Ultra trans, along with the full lightweight gears, and swapped from a fusion to an outrunner. The trans with the dig added, still lost close to 5 ounces all together. I went the mid size outrunner, one size up from the snubnose. I've also geared my portals and diffs front & rear both down with underdrive everything. Geared the axles down the same in my Zoku Phoenix too.
The 2-doc has probably moved on, but a nail polish brush and a stripe of MEK substitute along that seam will fuse those pieces together. MEK works like acetone does in other situations. Melts the ABS temporarily and lets the two become one when pressed together. I agree this rig is certainly the sum of all its parts. It stays so composed!
That is one damn fine rig! So happy he could visit the Canyon. About the slow roll back, because of lack of electronic/magnetic anker ... I don't do competitions, but isn't it kind of an avantage? It's very little and controlable, and it can situationally help you from using a reverse, not?
From what I'm told, rolling back reverse in many competitions. But I'm not a comp guy, so I can't say for sure. I'm sure there are different rules for different events.
I've been on the fence been a Negative G chassis, or this. Your reactions tipped the scale, I'm placing my order for this! Liked and subbed, great vid!
I was very apprehensive about the VFD until I got one. It’s an amazing transmission. With the five degree angle of the skid on my chassis the motor is as low as I think possible. The CG is fantastic and the F10 portals (on mine) have the best steering angle I have ever had. On top of that they make a dig unit for the standard VFD and the Twin comes with it. Loving the content just wanted to add my two sense.
Oh, we've got an abundance of VFD Twins here-- four of 'em. But I just didn't see the point of that big long thing without dig. Well, that and the fact that the add-on dig unit is $110. But I cannot argue the effect on CGH.
Yes, the alloy Vanquish F10Ts. These are another set of the limited run color, but they're mechanically the same as the silver or black. I wanna see the F10T in plastic, myself.
Spec RC SW19-71 Comp Cut in gold with billet rings and inners. Rare enough as to be less aluminum and more unobtanium. Hint: they cost more than an Enduro SE
Omg hes absolutely gorgeous under a awesomely painted body❤

Dang ol' dig unit is $110. The dang ol' VFD itself is only $120. BONKERS.
You are one talented man with a screwdriver in a shed😂👍
I can't take credit for this one. This is all Zoku.
Happy sunday everyone

Hey man love this video. Really good job on the commentary, im trying to do some more talking on my vids but chewing gum and walking is a struggle!
Were is everyone? Oh there you are!🎉🎉🎉
Date noght was the movie. And that crawler is hotter than jet exhaust!
Info please on the rear shock tower bar going across the chassis.
That's just a typical aluminum chassis spacer. 5mm OD, 3mm ID (threaded,) 70mm long. He's using it instead of locknuts to bolt the shocks on.
zoku for the win 😎
Wouldnt something more flexible than JB wel work better for gluing the body? such as ShoeGoo or similar stuff
Maybe? Probably. I told him I broke it and he didn't ask me to fix it, so that's up to him I reckon. What would I do personally? 🤷♂️
What shock oil is being used in the Zoku rig?
What links are they?
Whenever you get tired of that rig just box it up. 😊
That fella is just visiting.
Are those metal f10 straight axles ?

What wheels are those?

@@CrawlerCanyon it was said that the last of vibranium was used to make those on planet earth. They are gorgeous though
future crawler canyon/zoku collab???
That’s almost like dating your best friend girl and she’s wearing shoes you didn’t like🤣
Like she showed up in those inexplicable high-waist pants. WHY
Mr zoku personal rig?
One of them, yes.
Paint the diff cover red. Just kidding!
NO MORE RED DIFF COVERS
