Okay, too adorable having Reid close up the bear's boo-boo, lol. I love Reid as a character so much. He's very refreshing, poking fun at the institution of soaps as much as the town itself. "Village of the Damned" LOL. Thanks so much for posting and in HQ! I never know when As the World Turns will be a Gays of Our Lives day, so I miss these eps often. I'm really only watching the show at all because of Reid, so thanks for showing just those scenes that pertain to Reid/Luke/Noah.
I love that angsty scene. It's so heartbreaking, but I can't help but watch it over and over again. Poor Luke, so insecure that a brilliant sexy Neurosurgeon would want a little farm boy, that he can't even say anything to fight for himself when Reid says "I guess so". Reid looked like he wanted Luke to say something, anything to show that they SHOULD be together. Next week can't come soon enough!
Luke’s weakness could be his generosity or his kindness. People can take advantage of his kind heart like Noah. Reid would never take advantage of Luke’s kindness because he loves him.
Luke is really selfish and self-centered. Did he really expect Reid to give up YEARS of medical training and thousands of lives that can be saved for him ... for a relationship that hasn't even started?
I think if reid had discussed this with luke, he would be sad but would have told reid to chose his job, just think the fact reid didn't discuss this openly is what made things become like they did
This episode, with such intense scenes between Luke and Reid, and Luke and Noah sort of glaringly highlights the difference in acting abilities between the three actors. They're all lovely people, but Van reaches a higher potential as an actor in his scenes with Eric, and Jake seems so woefully inadequate in comparison.
Reid isn’t really considering that Luke is hurt by his choice to walk away from the relationship. I mean, Luke had been in love with Noah for a long time and it’s hard to get over someone like that. Reid should show more respect for that. I might need to remind you that Luke had a crush on Kevin through high school and then got himself addicted to alcohol which is the cause of the kidney problems. So Reid doesn’t know that Luke had a crush on Kevin. Luke should’ve disclosed this to Reid before they started seeing each other.
As much as I LOVE Reid as a character, I want Luke and Noah to be together. Nuke is like the reason I start watching gay storyline in movies and dramas. NUKE FTW!
I"m sure I will catch crap for this but I will never change my mind that Luke and Noah should be together ! I love how so many think Reid is such a good catch because of his job and looks and how he's so mature compared to Noah. When you dig deep Reid seems very cold and bitter and very sarcastic and that's not a good place to build a relationship and yes I have heard that's just a front for whats underneath......
