@@user-rizelthebaka then he can be intellect afflatus. easy. plus its pretty damn obvious this guy is going to get a LOT of development and focus in the story, what are the chances that later on he is coerced into/given something for combat?? that can be his character gimmick. like, what does "no combat capability" even mean here. more than half the playable characters don't look cut out for combat, literally look at X, his entire gimmick is that hes supposed to be an off field researcher, but is a playable 5 star anyways lmao. "people need to read the lore better" doesn't mean anything unless the character is dead☠
best case scenario here, they pull a kakania on him, and he becomes a boss in the story, confirming his future playability. his animations, live2d, and voice acting are way too complex and well made for them to ditch him, Schneider is most definitely going to be playable, 3 whole npcs this patch are too, give me one reason why he wont be either.

Yeah he can be playable that is if he ever becomes an Investigator like other characters from the Foundation. However His only job now is just researching and stuff. He doesn't get sent outside like others. Dunno why you brought up X, we can literally see him fight Forget me not in lore 💀 Anyway, for now there is no chance of him being playable and i personally doubt he'll ever be.

@@yennul9236 nah, he is way too well built and his model is much too high quality for him to stay an npc. bluepoch isn't the type to just make high quality npcs like this, just for the sake of it, and then throw them aside, and they proved that with this patch.

I kind of wished they took Fortiche's approach and styled the 3D animation with a paint texture like was done in Arcane since they already have that sort of watercolor technique for a lot of the cinematics. Arcane had the massive funding of Riot games so it was something they could afford easily while Bluepoch didn't quite have that kind of privilege so it's understandable why they didn't do the same, maybe they were just also unaware that something like that was possible at all. Even so, Bluepoch did an amazing job with what they had, the 3D is phenomenal and flows seamlessly.
