- This is my Grandfathers 1999 Lexus RX300. It has 87,xxx miles. It is all stock and runs nice and smooth for being 11 years old. I had the back windows down, cause i didn't want to turn on the air so that's why its a little louder driving. So rate it LIKE and enjoy. Comments are good.

Must say this car engine is indestructible, I have a 2000 Lexus RX300 with 245,000 miles 19 year old and loving it with that v6 engine
Still running strong? I'm thinking of getting one with 178k on it.

this car is basically an ES 300 on Stilts....not a bad thing at all...this car is so refined & smooth...just don't expect it to be fun to drive lol.
I don't have any but I like this car I really appreciate how it works I love it, and I will buy it when get opportunity. Thanks

It is nice, except the steering wheel looks pretty boring imho.
I have the same thing. Though it's got 155k. One of the big problems it has it with the antenna. It's been replaced 30 times before I brought it. Well I didn't feel like having it fixed, so I brought a fake one from the store and glued it on...lol I found out about that AFTER I glued that fake one on.

is this a good first car?
both me and my sister's first cars were this model of lexus (the same car), and it's been perfect!! my sister drove it first, so when she drove it, it was great. at this point it's 18 years old so it has had some problems with the battery & an exhaust leak, but nothing that bad because my family took pretty good care of it. just get AAA. (it has 129,000 miles on it). it's also a good size for me to drive people around and be able to park it and to be able to feel safe driving it (not too small not too big), and it's pretty humble but also nice looking. AND MY FAVORITE PART: the speakers are really nice and i love the sunroof. my only complaint is that the gas mileage sucks compared to modern cars, and the turning radius is ass. but as a first car, who really cares.
These cars have bad trans...
