I Love death and black metal from Japan. theire music has its own atmosphere, especially their black metal who is very divers for exampel Infernal necromancy with a very raw and chaotic hatefilled style, and on the other side bands like mortes saltantes now known as magane wich are very melodic and they all have a tratitional asian touch.
Agreed. I find with Japanese stuff, there is a distinct sound, just like I find with the early Greek stuff. You hear it, and you know it immediately. Huge fan of just about everything musically from Japan - always well executed, interesting, and great attention to the small details.
