      @@sandee704 I'[m guessing they have to go through the school administrators to begin with just to get permission to film. Then they probably do a kind of raffle/lottery to see who gets to be in the videos. I'm guessing most of the kids would be super up for being in a video like this, so they try to make it fair for the kids. Most likely, they pull kids from the same classes, so they already know each other, or even close friends. Probably do something like 2 kids from each class or something similar.

    • @johnboyle4161
      @johnboyle4161 ปีที่แล้ว +50

      capsaicin isn’t necessarily present within all of the crisps, only those which contain condiments closely associated or derived from chilli peppers. However you are right, milk does cleanse the colloquially named “hot” sensation, and blocks the capsaicin received into the mouth if the crisp genuinely contains capsaicin. Keep in mind capsaicin is used for medical reasons too and is therefore rather expensive. Therefore most industrialised/commercialised companies would look for a cheaper alternative.

    The thing I find with Korean spices, is that there seems to be genetic component to whether or not you react to it. It shows up in this video as well, with some of the boys finding it really spicy and others not minding at all. My mother can't usually cope with spicy food at all, my dad and I will get extremely hot Indian curries and really enjoy it, but she won't touch them. But when it comes to Korean food, my father and I really struggle with the spiciness, it's overwhelming, and my mother doesn't notice it at all. I'm fairly sure that the species of chilli pepper used makes a difference in how somebody reacts to it. She just has different spice-genes to us.

      Yeah I’ve come to realize that the Brits (not all) but a large amount can’t handle any level of spice like Jalapeño or higher. I have quite a few expat UK friends now in my country but they are dying at spice or any temperature above 21C lol. Flaming hot Cheetos aren’t considered spicy at any level in the U.S. I don’t remember any kid saying they’re spicy or having to drink water etc to cool themselves down

      And yet they gave them room temperature water. Some geniuses behind those cameras lol. Too cheap to buy ice.

      @@xCoachTheGhost Not quite ice either -- milk, yogurt, some kind of dairy product to stop the burn. Besides, only us gluttonous Americans fill up our drinks with ice. The rest of the world likes a couple a cubes, max.

    I was thinking you were going to have them try the one ghost-pepper-coated Dorito-in-a-bag-chip-of-death to see which kid would come out of the challenge alive, but you proved yourselves to be gentlemen with these kids…great video!

    As a Mexican, if I were studying in England I would have fun with my schoolmates because I would share my cheetos and my snacks from Mexico with them

    In South Texas we spray a lime and black pepper into the bag of Takis. Hot Cheetos with lime, black pepper, nacho cheese… Mmmmm!! That’s a snack!
