Thank you so much for your talk on Dr E W Bullinger. I'm thrilled to hear you tell what a brilliant scholar he was. I'm saddened that some dispensationalists leaders reject him, showing that they surely have not read his notes and books. I started reading My Companion Bible in 2011, and have been amazed at his writings on major doctrines such as the resurrection, death, and hell, and how he scripturally makes the case that the church still holds to the traditions of men on those doctrines passed down from hundreds of years ago. He doesn't tell his readers what to believe, but presents such amazing scholarly research that I wonder how anyone can dispute with him. I greatly admire Dr Bullinger, and I wish he had the respect he deserves. Thank you for expressing your zeal for people studying with him.
The Foundations of Dispensational Truth is absolutely precious! Talk about a godly man who accomplished so much in his lifetime. After reading several of his books, it has left me wanting more, and has made it hard to find a church that isn't caught up in ordinances and traditions of man. So glad to know that there are fellow Bullinger readers. God bless you all!!!
I LOVE Bullinger! He has done more for me in understanding the Bible and end times. You come away on cloud nine, feeling so close and yet respecting the fullness of God! (And looking so forward to the 'calling on high', the next great event) I've never read his Figures of Speech book, but I HIGHLY recommend Foundations of Dispensational Truth! It is excellent! I've never read
have been using companion bible since 2005 and have never seen any other comprehensive -enlightening bible like it, i really like his books though some are deep but i enjoy his bible studies...Thanks to my Pastor who made me know more about bullinger writtings.
Bullinger started out as an Anglican, but he was independent in that he was willing to follow the word of God wherever it led him. He was over the Trinitarian Bible Society for many years. He was Mid-Acts in his dispensationalism until about 1906 when he began to teach the Acts 28 position. He died in 1913, so he was only Acts 28 for about 7 years of his long ministry. He certainly had some views that I disagree with (on death for example), but his books are definitely worth having and reading. His commentary on Revelation is the best that I have ever seen, and How to Enjoy the Bible is a must have for every dispensational library. He edited the Things to Come Journal, which is a goldmine (but it is hard to find these days).
EW Bullinger's "Things to Come" has finally been digitized and is available online in pdf format. If you do a search for: ew bullinger eternally blessed things to come then you should have no problem finding at least one collection of volumes of "Things to Come". Note:These collections of volumes are huge. They appear to be scanned from the Journals themselves. The Companion Bible by E.W. Bullinger is the best bible study bible ever written for a student of God's Word. It's the only study bible recommended by the Shepherd's Chapel and the only one written by a true Christian biblical scholar. Enough said.
Great scholar that with original languages extracts many truths from scripture that has been lost in translation , and those truths do not want to be accepted by most , but they are truths regardless. The start of the Church or Body of Christ is probably his most famous theory that many judge him by. I understand his thinking none the less right or wrong. The Companion Bible is a must for any serious study. Like stated , use discernment , but remember these things he extracted from scripture , not his own thoughts as many study Bibles are.
I agree, Bullinger is a tough read. Figures of speech isnt a book I read but use for references. His number in scripture shows that God does nothing randomly. I’m glad you didn’t trash him
Have you ever lied, stolen, used God's name in vain, looked wuth lust? if so you need to repent today and Believe in Jesus Christ to save you from Hell and go to heaven instead
You know what exactly you said about bullinger. That is exactly how I feel what is wrong with the church today is wrong with politics and peoples approach to wisdom in general today. To box away, someone cover their ears to anything else they say. You sir are, showing wisdom on the matter. Good for you.

Thanks for the evaluation of E. W. Bullinger's work. I personally started out on a Old Scofield Reference Bible in 1977 when in my late teens, but became a Historic Premillenialist a dozen years later, though many of my friends are still Classic Dispensationalists. Still, I find Bullinger's work to be excellent. So, I use his Companion Bible as well as my favorite, the KJV Thompson Chain Reference Bible. I thought Bullinger started out as an Anglican, but perhaps later he became a Congregationalist like C. I. Scofield, though I really don't know that much about the life of Bullinger. I heard he came to disbelieve in the Trinity near the end of his life.

Absolutely Brillant man of God in understanding God's Word
This man was amazing and to hear the shepherd's chapel read it chapter by chapter and verse by verse brings it to life.

Who is your Pastor and where do you find his Bible studies? I want more! I would LOVE to find a Pastor who preached like Bullinger! It's scriptural.

Bulliinger was one of the only Christian that Ginberg let proof read the Massorah .
Good comments Randy. You used real examples to illustrate your points. And you answered the question - Yes!
Thank you Randy,I’ve just ordered the Companion Bible, grace and peace to you brother.
This is the first video I heard of Randy White. He is very careful about handling God's Word like Bullinger. They both respect God's Word.

The best feature of The Companion Bible is the last Appendix: the Bible as a gigantic chiasmus. I made a ten volumes research on this chiasmus.

The companion Bible is good just for the maps and chronology and stuff like that. It's cool. Plus it's KJV
Ok good. Thank you. Before I spend 50 bucks on the companion BIBLE!!!!
You’ll find the Bible is allegory of the stars and constellations.
I think the HolyGhost was in him
What's in the cup???...vodka
Appedix 105 is amazing and convinced me that the bible is the truth. Negatives in the bible.

It took 1 min and 18 second of you slurping for me to start screaming. I don’t even know your gonna say. I love the book…
@@jennaluvsflatearth8303 me too. Slurp slurp.
and DUH!
I believe that Mr Bullinger was hyper surprised when he finally met God face to face...surprised at how wrong he was in so many things.
Like what in particular?
