Finally an honest realtor. Actually admitting some neighborhoods aren't as nice as others rather than just calling them "up and coming".
I remember when 98 was a 2 lane hwy and you used to have sand drifts acrost it during the winter
I don't mind living in the hood. I've lived in the hood in other cities and they were no where near the beach.

Thanks for watching Tina Morales! There’s really not a “bad” area in fort walton beach in a traditional sense compared to that of a larger city, I would just take the time to drive around those areas before committing to a lease or purchase. :)
It's not a dangerous area it's just a area where people if they own a property they are not keeping them up to standard as the people would in a area that has a HOA. It's alot of houses that need renovation and when people hear low income or government the first thing that comes to mind is ghetto I haven't seen that in that area...
When I moved here to FWB, it was hard to find a place not to live. It was like a hidden secret. Only my coworkers at Eglin could tell me where to look.

I live in the so called McFarland area and I have absolutely no problem with it. Kinda thinking this is biased on this guy's own opinion.

I'm glad that I live in the Ferry Park neighborhood.
racetrack origialy was a racetrack for horses, why its called racetrack today.
also, due to fort walton being over taken by people moving there from northern states our bay is now poluted and our fishing industry is gone. fort walton was great to be raised up in but not great seeing the area being ruined. had the worlds best seafood restaurants but not anymore. so much of the best in fort walton has been replaced with proffit greed that just ruined what fort walton used to be.

Clipper Cove is nothing a party place old folks drinking and smoking wacky weed.

I met a family that moved from southern CA to Pensacola. Their dad said the best decision he did was to come out to Pensacola for 3 days and drive throughout the entire area to see and get a specific "feel" of where he'd want to move his family to. That's what I'd recommend as well.
If you are trying to get away from dictators don't buy in Destiny West in Destin.

Carson avenue is pretty bad
and Hollywood Blvd ...he never mentioned it , yet all the locals know it is the hood ...
Don't forget Lovejoy road! He really didn't mention any of the true "Hood" areas of FWB. How did McFarlan make the list while Carson Ave, East Hollywood blvd, or Lovejoy neighborhoods did not?

And you're within 5 hours from New Orleans, Atlanta and Jacksonville.
Glad I got to see the French Quarter one last time in 2015, before the government suddenly began to "care" so very much for my "health" so that I can no longer go in any of the shops or restaurants there without a scamdemic muzzle....won't be going to New Orleans again until they stop complying with their own enslavement...😁😉
