The trauma behind losing your mom at the age of 4, I relate to that. I lost my parents and siblings at the age of 4,we were involved in a car accident and by God's grace, I survived. When Inno said " I HAVE ZERO MEMORIES OF MY MOM, I KNOW MY MOM FROM A PICTURE" , I broke down because that's me, I know my family from pictures. Its been 25 years since they passed but I still cry when i talk about this, I don't like it when people tell stories of how my parents were, It's hard for me to listen to aunts and uncles sharing their memories of my parents because I feel robbed. I had hoped that at this age I would've healed from this trauma, but hey the wounds are still fresh. What a great Host.@Boldlyowamie you just got yourself another subbie😘

Your mom's story reminds me of my moms story, she was so gorgeous, hard working and she had a good taste when it comes to fashion, she literally did everything for me, my twin sis and big brother, in early 2000s she was attacked by stroke, lost her mobility and speech, remember this is a woman who used to be independent, beautiful and hard working, we only hear now people telling us that our mom was bewitched because lot of women were jealous of her, people are so cruel 😪😪😪but God's grace is carrying us daily

This is why i always tell myself that "asoze ndimsole uThixo" coz i feel like there's more to it that what we see ngeliso lenyama.

The memory loss aspect is a defense mechanism called Repression. This is when the brain pushes down negative thoughts, feelings or beliefs that we don't want to experience (due to their traumatic nature) out of sight, so our ego takes these thoughts and pushes them out of sight, into the unconscious so we don't have to consciously process them.
I really hope they decide to see a psychologist just so they can revisit the past, deal with it and heal from it.
    Great interview Owami.

The way I relate to this story💔 Also from mamelodi, also had a popular mother. Unfortunately I lost all 4 (both parents and grandparents) Took myself to college and had to navigate myself through life. Guys I have cried so much! I still think of wha life could've been if they were still around.I still feel alone and isolated thank God you ladies have each other❤ I just wish you also spoke about your breakthrough. How did God wipe away your tears? How did you manage to pull through ?

I resonate so much with what Milly said about how she feared losing her life when her kids turned 4. I lost my mom when I was 4, and this is probably the biggest reason why I am fearful of having kids; I always think history will repeat itself. Thank you for sharing.😘

❤❤❤❤ There is God in heaven. Thanks for sharing this story with us. This is the story of so many young, beautiful, capable and gifted children from townships as well as black rural communities. The blank childhood memories 😢😢😢 we all relate and the Big Bang’s of witchcraft induced changes. We concur. Holding hands and praying in the spirit together against this harsh dark childhood that all SA kids face if not forced to practice witchcraft.❤❤❤❤His Grace is sufficient! Also to add avoid the graves because that’s necromancy and will open doors to cleromancy.

Thank you Mili and Inno for sharing your story about your parents and your upbringing, indeed it takes so much courage to be able I tell it as it is. I have been waiting to hear it and learn how God's grace works in our lives through your story. I knew God had a good lesson to teach us through your story. The lesson is that you build your own reputation as a person and dont allow your traumatic experiences to influence your success. You are both successful women and I look up to you.

I can relate to what you guys shared about memory loss, I also lost my mother just over a week after I turned 4 years to sickness and I can barely remember anything that happened before 5 years of age. I don't have any memories of my mom, just pictures and videos, fortunately. When people talk about how sweet and kind she was, i can't relate. Currently, I fear having kids because I feel like I'll die and leave them young.

A someone who has a friend whose mother passed due to COVID and vowed not to have kids cos she does not want to leave them young I feel like take a long hard time to think about it. I lost both parents by the time I was 13 and I am a mom of two today. Never let fear control you.
