Yes !!! This is SO beautiful !!! I knew Hildegard wrote this but never saw an actual live with characters etc. Is there a DVD or Blu-ray of the entire Circle of Virtue ????
This transcends mere "religions," as von Bingen was able to connect with a far more divine and multidimensional aspect of existence.
I close my eyes and let the being once called Hildegard von Bingen and these excellent performers take me to the place where she is now.
That place which is past, present, and future - all at once. ✨💫🌟
The singing is beyond beautiful, especially the women; beautiful voices, not a second rate one in the bunch. And their technique is as good as their voices. I think the concept is well thought out and imaginative, but I haven’t made up my mind about it……

Muestra una visión del paraiso según le fue mostrado a Santa Hildegarda de Bingen ... una d tantas. porque ella, St Hildegard , si amaba la Iglesia y era monja y fue Doctora de la Iglesia, de las mas grandes... su bibliografía es extensisima. La Iglesia es Santa, pero es un concepto algo abstracto y hoy muy dificil de entender, La Iglesia no es lo que las personas ven y o son, y si te mantenes lejos de la Única y verdadera Iglesia Católica , menos llegaras al conocimiento de LA VERDAD.. y no confundir con La falsa iglesia, hoy gobernada por el impostor, es un momento bastante particular para comenzar a contemplar estas cosas, pero ,para Dios no hay nada imposible. Dios te bendiga y te muestre El Camino.

You have the Latin entirely wrong. "Ordo virtutum" is jibberish.: it has to be ORDO VIRTUUM. Ordo virtuum would mean "sequence of vrtues" (genitive plural). "Virtutum" is trying to be a neuter adjective (virtuous)- but "ordo" is a feminine noun requiring a feminine adjective (virtuta). Also there is no adjective vurtutus- virtuta- virtutum: like I say, that would be jibberish.
I disagree. The noun for "virtue" is virtus, virtutis. The genitive plural is therefore "virtutum" as in the upload. This information comes from the Oxford Latin Dictionary
Virtutum is correct. The genitive singular of virtus is "virtutis", and the plural would be then "virtutum". An example of this would be the definition of prudence as "auriga virtutum", that is, the charioteer of the virtues

What? It is a oral play from 1151 by Hildegaard von Bingen, Ordo Virtutum is the title she gave it, more than 800 years ago.
Exactly. I can't read it very well but it looks like there is an original manuscript in the public domain, so no doubt the performers know what they are doing.@@mroldnewbie
