I like the layout of your store. It seems like such a fun environment to work/shop in. I grew up in OR but moved to HI in 2013. The next time I make it back for a visit, I'd love to stop by the shop to check out some games and shake your hand. Keep up the great work, DJVG Team!
Not a big deal (at all really) BUT… The newest set is “Shrouded Fable” which came out going on about 3 weeks now. :D Tbf, the entire product line and the main beef (ETB/Bundles in this set’s case) if you will is slightly delayed by a few weeks, so it’s not fully out yet. Also, this is not a full set (it’s a special/holiday/high class set), so there are no booster boxes of it. The next set “Stellar Crown” (which is a full set) will be out in the next couple of weeks as well. They don’t normally get dropped this quickly stateside/west thankfully (Japan have more frequent/smaller sets more often), this is just an outlier. Normally it’s about every 2-3.5 months at most that we get a set and has been that way since TPC took ownership back from WotC for its distribution outside of Japan from WotC after Skyridge at the end of 2002. WotC were doing sets about every 4-5.5 months on average for reference. Good luck on securing that partnership, it’ll make a world of difference!
My best scores are Pokemon xd gale of darkness, Pokemon coliseum, Pokemon black 2, both Wii U Zelda hd remakes, the Zelda promotional bundle for GameCube, and some others each for 2.50$. And then Zelda twilight princess for gc for 10$
I remember finding a box with an nes, a gen 2 genesis, and a Gameboy. With a a handful of games for each (nothing crazy game wise) for $5. Everything worked too
FYI on magazine exchange, they will cut allocations on popular sets then "find" a few pallets of product a month after release and they will mark it up. Still good if you are wanting to get just a case or so of pokemon or MTG, not good if you are trying to run events for these games. Gold standard is southern hobby, hard to get an account but best pricing around!
It is almost sad when people are oblivious about the prices of their stuff at garage sales… but it sure is nice to get their stuff for cheap. 😅 My best score was a CIB Atari 2600 for 5 bucks, found among a bunch of board games that an elderly lady was selling.
To be clear, he didn't offer $1, thats what it was priced at. Not really robbing someone when you pay the price they set. Its on the seller to price their own items / do research.

I’m so happy for Ariel that her art is helping the store so much! So dang awesome.

The sticker sheet is SO cute!!! I didn't realize how much I needed a DJ Link in my life until now, haha.
Obscure gameplay presented in more peaceful way 🙂Nice looking Sticker art by Ariel!

Nice selection for the PS3 mystery box, I was thinking you should've thrown in batman Arkham City with it.
A while ago you said the new store could be pushed back a year or more. Do you guys have any update? Do you ever consider finding a different spot?
1:09 It's a Bagle!!!
You’re my new favorite video game store! And it’s not just because of Bobby!
I love the sticker's I'm so excited
Sco’ Ducks! Love the shirt Bobby!
Very interesting and informative video!
Legend of zelda gone already?
Amazing video
What the heck - i'm ten minutes in, and still no "Coop Transparent Try on Haul". False advertising.
Give me your garage sale scores
confused how its amazing to rob someone blind at a garage sale and call it an awesome story.
