Horror doesn't eat humans. Murder doesn't slaughter for no reason outside of his AU. Killer can feel emotions, he's just blinded by Corrupted!Nightmare. Horror, Murder, and Killer are not friends nor a trio. Dream moves on and heals from the fact he lost people like Ink and Nightmare. Swap isn't a weak, cute bean. He's a brave, pun-loving, enthusiastic, strong-willed character. Corrupted!Nightmare doesn't like to kill people and is just a parasite. Ink is soulless but he still uses his vials to be himself and protect the AUs.
Ty for more canon Sans au facts!♡ (Btw I use all of these especially the ones on Swap!Sans) But I will say all of the like “Character A is or is not friends with character B” is up to debate or is up to interpretation like I have put in the video Murder!sans WOULD be friends with Horror!sans, say so by the creator of Dusttale. Again head-canons are a thing but as long you don’t ruin the character(s) it’s fine and it’s up to you who’s friends with who. :)

I honestly didn't know that Canon Dust would be so... Depressing. He likes killing but hates himself for liking it and doesn't even kill random people unless he thinks they're tied to his responsibilities. So he's no blood/dust crazed maniac, he still has respect and sympathy for those he kills (in his Timeline) and even has a sense of mercy occasionally! He pays his tab and leaves money on the counter even if the shop is ownerless and abandoned. He has depressive episodes and hates himself and he even has nightmares He's a killer, but not bloodthirsty by any means. He hates himself for his actions and liking them, he hates himself in general, has nightmares about his previous murders and even does respectful/nice things like not stealing things from anywhere and paying for them even if the shop is abandoned He may kill and he may like doing it but... He's still a normal monster and acts like it

I never understood why some fans would think that Dust would automatically join the likes of Error knowing full well how evil they are. I agree that Dust should prefer to stay in his AU at all times instead of trying to conquer the multiverse for whatever reason. And yes, the creator(s) of this AU confirmed that Dust doesn't use purple bones.

I am honestly shocked. You spend your childhood going along with the media of your fandom then suddenly years later all of these people are spewing out the real facts that contradict everything you ever knew about the AUs. Not to say I don't like it. Hell. I love that I am mature enough to understand the reality and canon of such popular AUs in the community. From Horrortale, to Dusttale, to Dreamtale, to Killertale, Error and Ink. Underswap. All of them have grown so much in all of this time.

I keep seeing people making Murder and Killer besties and it makes me so upset because I know that he doesn't kill without an actual good reason and Killer kills because he needs or wants more EXP. And in his Canon story, he is besties with Horror. As they both of them suffered terribly by the human. And Horror doesn't want to kill or eat humans at all. He even asks his own brother to slap him if he lost control. Both of them have many things and common and I am completely okay with them being besties!
I keep seeing people making Dust/Murder and Killer all buddy-buddy and I’m internally trying to figure out how that would work. From my understanding, Killer doesn’t have a good reason for killing. Dust is killing so he can stop eternal pain because of the human in his universe. And, I feel like he wouldn’t be a super huge fan of Killer making a deal with an evil murderer to become an evil murderer. It simply doesn’t make sense.
Yes murder has a somewhat logical reason for doing what he’s doing, it’s not right and he knows this but he also knows it’s the only way. Killer is just mainly killing blindly by the corruption of his soul and mind by nightmare and the voice in his head (chara)
similar to how someone else said in a different comment section. if murder! Sans and Dustbelief! papyrus met, they would probably hug each other rather than attack each other, like how people think of Murder! sans.

The authors have said (also said in the video) that they are fine with people using Dust as his nick/code name, just not to totally forget this Sans’s given nick/code name. And don’t worry it was also difficult for me (kinda still is) to not call Swap!sans “blue” but it does slip out sometimes, I’m getting better tho!

Oh my gosh, thank you. Like geniunely. I dont have tumblr and cannot view the original creator of Dust!Sans' page. This genuinely helped me write a more canon description of my view of Dust -Someone who's been fixated on Dust!Sans for gosh knows how long.
actually i always fought (when i doscover canon murder) that the fandom realy make the au dumb and i think it started by the fangame (the fangame is good don't worry it's just that the interpretation of murder in it is strange) sans is a ''sad'' guy so it don't make sense to him to become mad when he kills papyrus he will just become more depressed.And also the fact that he can copy abilitys is dmlb (i read that he can like change like his bones into a skin of for exmeple a spear but always murder don't use it because it's dumb) the fact that papyrus haunt him is way more logic because he is just an hillusion and that he is just ore like sans sins (also the fact the in fanon he can help sans and everyone can see him is also dumb) anyways it's good to see a good video about murder (also this isn't the canon design in the video right? anyaways me i just care about the sotry not the design even if i prefer the canon one who i gonna say looks cooler but i don't understand the changes of colors)
The canon design for Murder is just Sans with a hood up with maybe dust on it? Canon doesn’t have a scarf but the creators said it’s okay for like grief or guilt. The canon design also has him with normal Sans pupils, not the red-blue one, he only has the red ones when he’s in battle otherwise they are white or they are white cuz he’s sad. There isn’t really much to his design. it’s really simple but good. But i when with with mix of both canon and non canon aspects like not having him having purple hair and him having white pupils but still having the red scarf. In my design. If I remember correctly the creators came up with him having his hood is because the actual game had a message saying a hooded figure was seen from afar when you’re doing a genocide. And ya I expected a fan game to be the reason why there's so much misinformation, about his powers specifically. Like being him able to use other monsters' powers or maybe making his magic purple when using bones and gaster blasters. When the creator made it official that his magic is blue/cyan not purple. But the creator did agree that he will probably have sharpened bones. Anyways thankfully we agree that the fancanon has been taking it a bit far away from what his was originally. @@AmIsChill ye i totally agree and uhm I think murder have a canon design it’s just maybe the creator didn’t talk about it it’s the design with a purple jacket grey slippers and like sad eyes but anyway the design isn’t the MOST important thing.The most imsportant thing is to first enjoy the character and the 2nd is to inform the canon version to people and it’s what you do so thx(and I think people call him dust because the name of the au and also murder must be the character the most used but in his fanon form)

They are also okay with calling him Dust but to not ignore or forget that he is Murder and they prefer to call him that. They think it was a translation error since they are Korean and wrote the au in Korean so the English community renamed him? Not sure on that one but I prefer Murder And yes! Everyone should enjoy Murder sans canon or not but to not overdue the fancanon lol I think the fancanon is so overused because of misinformation it spreads making people confused.

I feel like phantom papyrus is a separate entity that sans created from pure insanity its clearly stating how phantom papyrus loves sans and he can tell how many monsters are left which is something sans doenst know
I’m not really sure but the creator has stated multiple times that he is not real, but you do have good points. I personally think that sans maybe has killed the monsters so many times that he knows how many there are. So when he developed phantom paps (when he killed enough to) he created him like how a child makes an imaginary friend, he just unconsciously makes phantom papyrus say what he knows without realizing it (?) and ofc he makes phantom papyrus sorta act like his real brother. idk I just came up with this but I tried to make sense of it. Sorry it doesn’t make sense lol

I mean seeing as Phantom is a hallucination by his *mental state, if a reset were to occur it wouldn’t change his mind back to before as well so the guilt that formed Phantom is still there when it resets therefore causing Phantom to still be there
Ahh so canonically dust san is not part of the Nightmare gang and cant use the other monsters powers. ( It makes sense he couldnt use it because if sans could in fact use the powers of any other monster, in canon, that would mean frisk or chara could use the powers of the other monster if they started a genocide run.

Lemme tell u something I believe: dusttale isn’t really an au in my opinion, it’s just a timeline! If u recall, at the start it says something about this taking place after over 300 resets! So it makes more sense for dusttale to be a timeline!

Just to state I’m not the creator in any way but with all the evidence and how he is with Overtale Sans who is a human. I think he will be like he is with Overtale Sans. Basically Hes perfectly fine with Overtale sans because he is just like a Sans despite being human so I think it’s the same with ST!Chara
And for that other question I can’t really answer that lol but I think he will be surprised that they have powers similar to his or monsters. unlike from the powers of reset and not being able to die, he has experience and familiar with his human.
All non-Canon Sanses are valid! It's great to also give love to what you like! Even if it's inspired by an original concept, it shouldn't be looked down upon! Ofc, unless it's, makes fun and makes the original look like a joke. for example what happened to Swap!Sans :(

Horror loves his au (except undyne probably idk) So he would join Nightmare so his brother and friends live But he still can goes to his au, Nightmare let him so horror trusted him and wont leave As for killer he was just blinde by Nightmare corruption by force Thats probably how the badguys created IF they were happened to meet

the only way i see murder will join nightmare is to threatening murder to unleash the human to other universes and murder will prob feel like it would be his fault that the human was let loose because of refusing nightmares deal, but if he take the deal and lose his free will which he wouldn't want to be taken but he can understand if he is cornered prob except it and spread negativity to other universes, and nightmare doesn't want anyone dead just feel negative so murder at least won't kill anyone, from outside his au.

Well yes I suppose you can put it in that way. He has the guilt from killing his kind brother who just wants to help but Sans know that killing him for EXP is the only way he can become stronger then the human. And each time the human resets, he has to continue and repeat his killings of his brother which just fuels him more to kill the human. He created Phantom Paps as a coping mechanism and because he’s becoming more and more insane and mad.

After watching this video, I suddenly thought about something: Do you know Former time Trio? Suppose if ULB accessed Dustttale with the intention of collaborating with Murder to create the above Trio, when they met and proposed to cooperate, what would happen? (I bet there's a high chance that Murder will refuse based on his canon personality)
I would definitely think as considering his canon personality he would definitely deny the deal and if they were in his Au to immediately leave him alone, worse case is that they push him to fight, Murder wouldn’t be aggressive unless he needed to be.

Dust sans is my favorite sans (it's not because of the killing and I feel sorry for him because of his story) also I'm slowly working on making a version of dust sans called vampiric dust (the basic information is he took the soul of a bat before he became crazy he killed his frisk in the first timeline and only that he killed monsters he actually managed to recover mentality from his insanity his eyes are purple but glow rainbow he took the human souls and the soul of frisk and chara (he never got the ability to reset from the soul of frisk and chara so he decided it can't hurt to take them because there is a chance he could get the ability to reset from the power of other souls combined with what he has) he's called vampiric dust because he is a version of dust sans that gets healed every time his attacks hit there target his gaster blasters shoot rainbow his bone magic is rainbow instead of saying something about a mad time he will say something about an eternal mad time he eventually learned how to use the attacks of every monster in his universe all the monsters in his universe became ghosts upon there death aside from any who already were ghosts they now willingly work for vampiric dust he killed the spirit of chara but there soul still remained intact with no evidence that chara could return he could solo the bad sans's including insanity and error aside from that they have a similar personality to the cannon version of dust (especially when it comes to killing because he never kills without a good reason) he is a multiverse traveler (he can teleport to other multiverse's) and lastly he can transform into a form called vampiric Angel in this form he is an angel of death and is close to being able to rival the power of king multiverse)

Unfortunately I don't know how to make it a game or an animation but I can make it a comic (he is from the divinetale multiverse which is what my first comic (that I'm still working on making) involves but it will start with the story of divinetale and show a few character's from the multiverse then I plan on making the comics that show those character's story's)

Thank you very much for this video, even if I already knew almost every facts, I really appreciate that you shared it so more people knows that the fandom really changed the characters... {The next part is just opinions, so skip if you're not interested!} - If you know the vilain sans squad serie, I think the creator did great by making Murder!sans not interested by Nightmare's deal, because he wouldn't want it like the creator of this incredible video said. But sadly this same creator didn't make Murder try to return, and that made me kinda sad... - If you know Underverse, I know Murder!sans isn't in it, and I hope it's because of those facts (him wanting to be in his AU) - I don't know why but I feel like Cross and Murder!sans could get along (even if canonly, they can't...) because they're quite similar : a world controled by someone, mostly a human (at the end of X-tale), the two of them have hallucinations (Phantom!Papyrus and dead X-tale characters), they're being manipulated (By Phantom!Papyrus and by X-Chara, X-Gaster and a little Nightmare), and they're loners who don't want help and probably don't want to accept any deal without big benefits for themselfs and their goals, who want their AU better and have their own free way of thoughts If you're reaching this, thank you for reading! @@classicrain4389 in my multiverse, that timeline is protected from any foreign stuff. Even Error or stronger evil Sanses don’t mess with it. I think that if that TL is destroyed, all other AUs and the whole multiverse will be destroyed and fall apart. Ofc there are probably many copies and TLs of the original TL so idk. If classic were to leave the og TL, uh tbh not sure what would happen but in my opinion, he would be able to die, in that case it’s doomed because then all Sanses would die but not the Aus or non-Sanses. All aus would be Sans-less I like to think that Sans doesn’t know about Aus or the existence of the multiverse aside from theories from the secret lab about AUs and TLs, he’s just at the surface chilling in the true ending at bliss. Again this is just my multiverse I have concocted to try to make it fit almost every Au with as little contradictions as possible.

Well it was always Murder it’s been that for years as well as the nickname Dust In the naming system you listed Killer!Sans who’s At is not called “KillerTale” it’s actually called “Something New” so ya no it doesn’t apply to every Sans. And the opposite happened with Swap!Sans who’s Au is called Under *SWAP* but people change his name to “Blue” or “Blueberry” even when his name *is* based on the universe I understand you but you do sound a bit weird with that. Also people didn’t “suddenly” started calling him Murder he was always named Murder since the beginning. It was people’s headcanons making him called Dust and people being confused and not putting the effort into looking into him and his real character
What color soul does sans have? Like in the original fan game of dusttale you can see him having a red upside down soul but that’s probably wrong as that’s also the fan game that gave him other character’s attacks

Funny enough I have been thinking about that; to stop some fan canon “facts” from taking over like what has happened to Swap!Sans. Not saying that fan canons need to stop but it needs to be more controlled in a sense. lol, I quite like some fan canon aspects that people have made.
Swap aka blue isn't weak he is quite strong and he does puns as for his brother swap papyrus he loves doing tricks. In underfell sans and papyrus have regular arguing but it's just siblings things nothing more Nothing less

After i did some calculations i have found murder Sans's stats wich are: Hp:80 for lv 20 and 73 for lv 19 Atk:29(lv20) and 27(lv19) Def:5 Note:these stats are if he does not equip items
Yep lol don’t worry tho I fixed it. It always bothered me in Gacha with my and other people designs that the scarf went through the hood. same with non sans characters like with people’s OC’s with long hair also going through a hood lol but I figured out a way to not make it look like that :)

Swap isn't a weak, cute bean. He's a brave, pun-loving, enthusiastic, strong-willed character.
Corrupted!Nightmare doesn't like to kill people and is just a parasite.

I keep seeing people making Murder and Killer besties and it makes me so upset because I know that he doesn't kill without an actual good reason and Killer kills because he needs or wants more EXP. And in his Canon story, he is besties with Horror. As they both of them suffered terribly by the human. And Horror doesn't want to kill or eat humans at all. He even asks his own brother to slap him if he lost control. Both of them have many things and common and I am completely okay with them being besties!

I keep seeing people making Dust/Murder and Killer all buddy-buddy and I’m internally trying to figure out how that would work. From my understanding, Killer doesn’t have a good reason for killing. Dust is killing so he can stop eternal pain because of the human in his universe. And, I feel like he wouldn’t be a super huge fan of Killer making a deal with an evil murderer to become an evil murderer. It simply doesn’t make sense.
Yes murder has a somewhat logical reason for doing what he’s doing, it’s not right and he knows this but he also knows it’s the only way.

The canon design for Murder is just Sans with a hood up with maybe dust on it? Canon doesn’t have a scarf but the creators said it’s okay for like grief or guilt. The canon design also has him with normal Sans pupils, not the red-blue one, he only has the red ones when he’s in battle otherwise they are white or they are white cuz he’s sad.
There isn’t really much to his design. it’s really simple but good.
But i when with with mix of both canon and non canon aspects like not having him having purple hair and him having white pupils but still having the red scarf. In my design.
If I remember correctly the creators came up with him having his hood is because the actual game had a message saying a hooded figure was seen from afar when you’re doing a genocide.
And ya I expected a fan game to be the reason why there's so much misinformation, about his powers specifically. Like being him able to use other monsters' powers or maybe making his magic purple when using bones and gaster blasters. When the creator made it official that his magic is blue/cyan not purple. But the creator did agree that he will probably have sharpened bones.
Anyways thankfully we agree that the fancanon has been taking it a bit far away from what his was originally. Thanks for enjoying!

I feel like phantom papyrus is a separate entity that sans created from pure insanity its clearly stating how phantom papyrus loves sans and he can tell how many monsters are left which is something sans doenst know
I’m not really sure but the creator has stated multiple times that he is not real, but you do have good points.
I personally think that sans maybe has killed the monsters so many times that he knows how many there are. So when he developed phantom paps (when he killed enough to) he created him like how a child makes an imaginary friend, he just unconsciously makes phantom papyrus say what he knows without realizing it (?) and ofc he makes phantom papyrus sorta act like his real brother.

I mean seeing as Phantom is a hallucination by his *mental state, if a reset were to occur it wouldn’t change his mind back to before as well so the guilt that formed Phantom is still there when it resets therefore causing Phantom to still be there
Ahh so canonically dust san is not part of the Nightmare gang and cant use the other monsters powers. ( It makes sense he couldnt use it because if sans could in fact use the powers of any other monster, in canon, that would mean frisk or chara could use the powers of the other monster if they started a genocide run.

Canon Murder and Canon LB Sans: they can actually be a friends, because both passed to many genocide routes, but LB passed only 30 routes meanwhile Murder passed thousands and more genocide routes. They both hate human/player and wanna stop them whatever it takes. Crazy that's Former time trio more possible than Murder time trio in canon terms.

So when murder was threatened that will be killed if he didnt join Nightmares gang, murder has no other choice than accept the invitation
After he shakes hand with Nightmare he suddenly filled with negativity
The scene monsters he killed shown and he for some reason angry
His eyes slowly turned into cyan but has red circling it and the right one is simply red with a black dot, and murder was taken from his au.
Horror loves his au (except undyne probably idk)
So he would join Nightmare so his brother and friends live
But he still can goes to his au, Nightmare let him so horror trusted him and wont leave
As for killer he was just blinde by Nightmare corruption by force
Thats probably how the badguys created IF they were happened to meet

the only way i see murder will join nightmare is to threatening murder to unleash the human to other universes and murder will prob feel like it would be his fault that the human was let loose because of refusing nightmares deal, but if he take the deal and lose his free will which he wouldn't want to be taken but he can understand if he is cornered prob except it and spread negativity to other universes, and nightmare doesn't want anyone dead just feel negative so murder at least won't kill anyone, from outside his au.

Well yes I suppose you can put it in that way.
He has the guilt from killing his kind brother who just wants to help but Sans know that killing him for EXP is the only way he can become stronger then the human. And each time the human resets, he has to continue and repeat his killings of his brother which just fuels him more to kill the human.
He created Phantom Paps as a coping mechanism and because he’s becoming more and more insane and mad.

Do you know Former time Trio? Suppose if ULB accessed Dustttale with the intention of collaborating with Murder to create the above Trio, when they met and proposed to cooperate, what would happen? (I bet there's a high chance that Murder will refuse based on his canon personality)
I would definitely think as considering his canon personality he would definitely deny the deal and if they were in his Au to immediately leave him alone, worse case is that they push him to fight, Murder wouldn’t be aggressive unless he needed to be.

Bro I'm glad you MENTIONED Dust!belief lol ( Dust!belief is my second favorite AU, Dis!belief is my first favorite )
Frisk would cause dusttale to happen because frisk controls what way they do it so it would make sense for frisk to do over 300 genocide routes
Dust sans is my favorite sans (it's not because of the killing and I feel sorry for him because of his story) also I'm slowly working on making a version of dust sans called vampiric dust (the basic information is he took the soul of a bat before he became crazy he killed his frisk in the first timeline and only that he killed monsters he actually managed to recover mentality from his insanity his eyes are purple but glow rainbow he took the human souls and the soul of frisk and chara (he never got the ability to reset from the soul of frisk and chara so he decided it can't hurt to take them because there is a chance he could get the ability to reset from the power of other souls combined with what he has) he's called vampiric dust because he is a version of dust sans that gets healed every time his attacks hit there target his gaster blasters shoot rainbow his bone magic is rainbow instead of saying something about a mad time he will say something about an eternal mad time he eventually learned how to use the attacks of every monster in his universe all the monsters in his universe became ghosts upon there death aside from any who already were ghosts they now willingly work for vampiric dust he killed the spirit of chara but there soul still remained intact with no evidence that chara could return he could solo the bad sans's including insanity and error aside from that they have a similar personality to the cannon version of dust (especially when it comes to killing because he never kills without a good reason) he is a multiverse traveler (he can teleport to other multiverse's) and lastly he can transform into a form called vampiric Angel in this form he is an angel of death and is close to being able to rival the power of king multiverse)
Wow that’s an awesome concept! And it would be interesting to see this put together in a game type thing or maybe in animation? Not sure but I like this!
Unfortunately I don't know how to make it a game or an animation but I can make it a comic (he is from the divinetale multiverse which is what my first comic (that I'm still working on making) involves but it will start with the story of divinetale and show a few character's from the multiverse then I plan on making the comics that show those character's story's)

- If you know the vilain sans squad serie, I think the creator did great by making Murder!sans not interested by Nightmare's deal, because he wouldn't want it like the creator of this incredible video said. But sadly this same creator didn't make Murder try to return, and that made me kinda sad...
- If you know Underverse, I know Murder!sans isn't in it, and I hope it's because of those facts (him wanting to be in his AU)
- I don't know why but I feel like Cross and Murder!sans could get along (even if canonly, they can't...) because they're quite similar : a world controled by someone, mostly a human (at the end of X-tale), the two of them have hallucinations (Phantom!Papyrus and dead X-tale characters), they're being manipulated (By Phantom!Papyrus and by X-Chara, X-Gaster and a little Nightmare), and they're loners who don't want help and probably don't want to accept any deal without big benefits for themselfs and their goals, who want their AU better and have their own free way of thoughts

Im glad you enjoyed this! And I’m also a bit confused on the Cross and Murder!Sans not being able to get along thing and I do agree that have so much in common. And I also love the Villain Sans squad series, it’s so good, they perfectly matched up with canon Sans Au’s personalities which I always love in videos! :)
My goal is just to spread the word and to maybe stop fancanon from being the norm like how they did to poor Swap!Sans. I might be making more of these types of videos for other Sans Aus affected by this!

@@classicrain4389 in my multiverse, that timeline is protected from any foreign stuff. Even Error or stronger evil Sanses don’t mess with it. I think that if that TL is destroyed, all other AUs and the whole multiverse will be destroyed and fall apart.
Ofc there are probably many copies and TLs of the original TL so idk.
If classic were to leave the og TL, uh tbh not sure what would happen but in my opinion, he would be able to die, in that case it’s doomed because then all Sanses would die but not the Aus or non-Sanses. All aus would be Sans-less
I like to think that Sans doesn’t know about Aus or the existence of the multiverse aside from theories from the secret lab about AUs and TLs, he’s just at the surface chilling in the true ending at bliss.
Again this is just my multiverse I have concocted to try to make it fit almost every Au with as little contradictions as possible.

In the naming system you listed Killer!Sans who’s At is not called “KillerTale” it’s actually called “Something New” so ya no it doesn’t apply to every Sans.
And the opposite happened with Swap!Sans who’s Au is called Under *SWAP* but people change his name to “Blue” or “Blueberry” even when his name *is* based on the universe
