Everything is spiritual, even matter. Matter is inherently a spiritual entity. Maya binds you if you let it. But if you become the Mayin, the Lord of Maya, then for you Maya becomes leela, a divine play.
As a Shiva Sutra says
Sukha dukhayor bahirmananam
"Pleasure and pain and considered to be something external"
And yes, you become like Adiyogi Himself. From being a pashu(bound soul) to pashupati(the Supreme Soul)
As another Shiva Sutra says
Siva tuliyo jAyate
"One becomes equal to Shiva"
