If I was to give you any advice for the belfry, just use your 3 wood and keep the driver away if you're still not confident. You can hit the 3 wood as far as a driver anyway. A halfway solution somewhat. All the best for it though Dennis. Keep it going

Yes mate well in 👏. Would stick at the same tactic for belfry play your game until driver is more reliable. Put some SOLID practice putting in and you would have a real shot at winning/placing well I reckon

As a new subscriber going through your video's ,must say wow i am impressed you are a strong long hitter.Add more hip rotation especially on those pitch shots (Too armsy) if you haven't already and i am certain mid h/cap easily summer 2024 beckons.
Those two rounds don't show on your WHS record. Did Springfield not get the local pro to input the scores at Telford GC . Or you could have asked your local, Lichfield GC to input the scores directly on Dotgolf portal. Dodgy handicap. Although the scores wouldn't have effected your HCP index it would have added to your 20 scores and so made your HCP index more stable. Keep up the good golf. 👍
It’s my first time playing a comp like this I wasn’t sure if anyone was inputting scores to WHS after the rounds. That being said, finishing on 105 and 102 are pretty bang on for my HCP as things stand 😂 Thanks for the support!

Welcome on board Alastair! Thank you this was probably my most consistent round ever as far as ball striking, so you picked a good one to start 😂 I’ve had the swing vs 28 hcp comment a lot. I’ve worked hard on it looking the part not getting into bad habits etc. bit more I need to make it pay dividends with the scorecard😂
Chipping continues to look better. Mine was improving until I returned to the workforce. Odd how earning a living doing what you love interferes with doing Golf, that I also love.
Well done Dennis! Forget the driver lesson though, you need a putting lesson. First time I've seen a high handicapper have such excellent course management and the discipline to stick to it. Add the driver when you get better, before then it'll just be costing you shots.

Dennis, anything outside 10ft on the green just aim at the hole, only time you wouldn’t really is if it’s an obvious hill but if you over read over 10ft it usually goes wrong or stays where you aim, I’ve done it a lot and now just don’t over think any long putts

I assume you already do but recommend checking every putt and chip/run from both sides of the hole. Too many times you under played the break. Just for a bit of trivia, when your ball was on the edge of the hole & you said it only needed 1 full rotation , 1 full rotation is just over 5 inches ! you were much closer than that ! Great round & awesome content ! Cheers 🙏👍
Great great golf. It's sometimes really hard to stick to a plan the whole course but u did it. Loved the play to only go for 6 iron and lower. If u manage to get a little more distance by going to 5 iron and then ' iron it'll be even better. The iron strike was really good imo. And putting was a little bit off but i'm sure you can do way better. hope u go trough

I'd be more mindful of the ones where you got the line wrong by 5-10ft either side as that could cause some serious joykilling! I played a tough long course with big confusing greens a few weeks ago and although I shot 99, my putting was bad, only holed 2 shortish putts, the rest I had zero clue what pace to hit the ball ... but I had the line right for all of them, just blasted them past the hole majority of the time. Keep up the hard humble work. Well done on those big putts and all those chip shots 🎉 I hope your son and other half are doing well 🙏🏾

Driver was losing me strokes so it was irons all day. Crazy that I got par with irons only to be fair
