America and great Britain unofficially sent soldiers to Russias imperial army to help defeat Lenin's red army (communist/soviet army). and that very same year all forces had to be evacuated after a failed mission. only 1 group stayed a little longer, I think till 1919, because they were to deep in Siberia and couldn't be evacuated. he also didn't mention syria, Vietnam, Korea, and more.

The "Canadians had sympathies with the Americans" isn't fully true. Most "Canadians" at this time were French-Canadian Catholics who the British guaranteed their linguistic and religious rights under the Quebec Act (1774). The French Canadian local elites (ex. priests and admin) know the US/Patriots were morally obessesed Protestants (at this time) who thought their "City on a Hill"/"Manifest Destiny" was essentially about making North America an anglo-protestant haven where French Catholics would not be tolerated. Hence why most Canadiens were not on board with the US and (begrudgingly) sided with the British.
    Example:
"... many (French Canadians) will choose to remove if they can be allowed to sell their lands, improvements and effects: the rest, in that thin-settled country, will in less than half a century...be blended and incorporated with our people (Americans) in both language and manners," - Benjamin Franklin

I don't know why this title even brings up the Revolutionary War. If you are talking tactical blunders, maybe mention the conquest of the Philippines, the War of 1812 where the White House got torched. Strategic blunders, could just mention all of our attempts at nation building like Vietnam, Iraq, and Afghanistan, where the U.S. has big tactical victories but still lost due to poor strategic goals from CiC. (Bush 2 mostly, but can blame Obama for Iraq and Obama, Trump, and Biden for Afghanistan as well.
Good call on Bay of Pigs though. That was both a tactical and strategic blunder. U.S. gave the rebels a bunch of old WW2 gear and little to no training and somehow expected them to win. The invaders were not well trained or equipped though.
