Linda Ronstadt has a rare brain condition called progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP) that has affected her ability to sing and perform (much like Parkinson's).
He’s done the anthem twice before when the dodgers were in the WS and didn’t wear a hat either time. But yeah, it’s not a very common occurrence to see him without it 😂
It's a respect thing if I'm not mistaken. It's common practice to take your hat off during the singing of the American anthem. To show your respects to those who have fallen on the front lines or something like that
