Hey Mark, terrific study on rebuilding. Love it. I was in the congregation, as a early teen, starting a church "Trinity"way back in '63 with Gib and then attended Sunday night services @ Ballard and then West Seattle.... Mars Hill. Loved every sermin I attended and didn't miss many. Very good to see your church "Trinity" doing so well in Az.
I am helping start, rebuild, a new, old, small church in northern WA state and looking to do the same as you have done. Maybe not to the same level but nonetheless with kids in mind and "Real Men". Love that study too. Sure do miss Gib !!!!

I absolutely love this, I love your plan for your family and church. Your ministry is SO powerful, so tender and loving. I can feel it from all the way out here in CA and I hope to be able to make a trip out to AZ and bring the family. ALL four of us to come see your church in person, perhaps meet you and your family. Pray for my family to come together.

I just thought of the prophets that came before Nehemiah warning the people of Israel to return to God. Is America being admonished of the falling away and the consequences?
God is calling His children to repentance through affliction. He wants the lukewarm to choose Him and His way, rather than the ways of the world. God will divinely provide for those who seek Him, His will, and His way.
Is 48 10 Behold, I have refined thee, but not with silver; I have chosen thee in the furnace of affliction.
Zech 13 8And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the LORD, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein.
9And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The LORD is my God.
Been a Christian all my life but God has not directed me or told me what job to do or where to live or His will sadly. I do get some wisdom for subjects and Words of Knowledge for others thougj
I'm there with you. I want too though, I'll keep praying and making plans. Maybe this sermon series will help.
Praying for God to pour out Holy Spirit guidance, provision, and insight. May He provide you righteous counselors.
God won’t give u direct answers most of the time. I desperately asked when I wanted to move. I know he says he will direct me I couldn’t understand why he wouldn’t. He gave me the scripture. Whatever u go, whatever u do light will shine on ur ways. I am glad he didn’t give me an exact answer. Honestly I wouldn’t have done the research which actually ruled out many of my options. He wanted me to contribute to the answer so I could know why I couldn’t move to those cities so I won’t have regret. I guess my takeaway is ask for wisdom and move, the wisdom is in ur decisions. He will be with you wherever bc he is God in whatever situation and any situation. He is directing you even if you don’t see it.

He does tell you His will through His Word. Through desires He puts in your heart if you are abiding in Him. I know it can feel frustrating, but if the Spirit hasn't led you anywhere else, then you are in His Will for this season.
