Would you please tell me if I could do anything if the film frame counter is stuck and doesn't advance? I have the 1960 Nikon F Camera series. Thank you.
Hello, I have a question to another lens: Nikkor AF 24-120. The lens has fungus. I was able to clean all lens groups. But there is one group, which is on the back side directly attached to the aperture blades, I can't open. The fungus is between these two lenses. Do you know this lens? Many Thanks
Oh, I spent so much time and money trying to find a suitable grease for my vintage manuals! This looks promising. Can you please explain, do you use the same grease on both fine thread and multi-thread parts of the helicoid? I've got one Nikon with a very, very fine thread and it is sticking even with very light grease on it. Still can't find the one suitable for such places. And did you find some lighter greases?
Sometimes, depending the lens I use a finer grease and a more thick grese. It's specially in the Micro-Nikkor 55mm 1.2.8. I try with different types of grease and ended up with use #10 from "Japan Hobby Tool" for the outer helicoid with fine threads, and a PTFE oil from "TRI-FLOW" for the inner helicoid, and it's still working very good. I'm still very happy with the "Liqui-Moly" LM47 in many cases, but of course I'm still looking for new types of greases that could be useful. I also sbuscribe to your YT channel.
@@mikeno62 oh, thank you) Not sure whether it is useful subscription, I only use it occasionaly for some technical vids. I'll try to find LM47, but suspect it to be a bit too thick. On the other hand it's very hard to get Japan Hobby here in my area, so I suspect I still have to seek for some other solution. I'll write back if I got any)
tak for videoen, endelig en video, hvor der følges op på, hvordan det ser ud efter en lang periode, hvorfra får du din lique produkt?

Hm, the oil traces on the mount ring give me second thoughts. Not sure if you would have missed cleaning them when you had it open for the first time.
Do you have recommendations for grease? There are so many options and I still don't know which to buy.
@@ohjajohh I went with Helimax XP (thicker) and #10 grease (thin) from japanhobbytool
