    Nice! thanks for letting us see it. I can imagine the hours involved with setting up the details like the valve train. I find the stock/super stock engines fascinating.

    I've always been intrigued by the stock and SS engines. Mainly the gnarly cams providing the gnarly idle still crunching away at 3k. Aside from that all the meticulous work and development is cool. Poor man's pro stock. Not meant as an insult.

    NOTE: The intake and exhaust runners, and chambers must remain stock volume for HP claimed. Stock CR and valve size must remain stock as well. Looks good. What car is going in?

      . The Edelbrock heads are allowed 172cc over the 164cc OEM.

    Just a thought on your 780 Holley if you want to stop from playing with those secondary’s you can lock them down using the linkage with a small screw and nut and then you can set it to open when you want.The rule just says you have use the vacuum secondary carb

    You mentioned the valve springs that you are running on your engine do you mind sharing the installed height that you set them at with that PAC spring in those cylinder heads I’m just curious because I looked up the recommended install ht.Thanks I’m a superstock fan for years and you are going to have a record breaker for sure.

    You should get that fuel regulator and fuel lines far far away from that ignition coil before you set yourself on fire.

      Sure there are. Dart and World make some legal iron heads. Still get hit with weight. If you think you can buy a OEM 041 over the counter, your retarded.

      @@SpeierRacingHeadsBrenton K: Aftermarket heads are usually + 10 HP. That means your NHRA rated HP is 10 more so if your class is 12 Lbs. per HP that's 120 Lbs. added to the shipping weight. That could move you into the next class. Now your index is .15 seconds quicker.
