I think the 3 biggest "problems" with most chapter 5 ARs is that they are pretty inaccurate without a scope (minus the Nemesis and Enforcer), they aren't hitscan, which decreases their range, and finally, the Thunder Burst SMG exists. That plus the Reaper sniper rifle made ARs very obsolete.
The new combat AR is very accurate without a scope, and it actually became my favorite weapon this season. That being said, I definitely agree that the thunder burst overshadows it for a lot of players, especially controller players.

The striker and nemesis were just better, (especially pre enforcer buff) and the brokenness of pre nerf reaper doesn't even need to be stated by now. Coming into season 3 it looked like it would have better prospects but now it has to contend with an actual DMR and the Combat for an AR or DMR slot.
We really just aren't having an AR season right now. Tac is garbage. Combat has so much recoil and bloom. The enforcers the best of the three but it's still not good.

Nah it’s great at a range imo. That’s why I use it. I can’t stand the bloom of OG Fortnite weapons like the scar, I will pick up a hammer almost every time over it.

Yeah, I completely agree. Attachment-less weapons are kind of like the Makeshift weapons: weapons with bad stats that you’re supposed to improve upon with weapon attachments. Literally all of the points he made about the warforged AR are either heavily reduced or completely removed when attachments are considered.

The thing is that some weapons become absolute monsters with attachments like the gatekeeper shotgun with drum mag and lazer pretty much outclasses any pump/tac from previous chapters. While others barely even change like the tac ar.
I feel that the Havoc Suppressed AR didn't deserve to be on this list mainly because it is so average. The damage was abysmal, yes, but that's it. I really do not like the flapjack AR, but that's just me. The Twin Mag AR, MK-Alpha, and Red-eye were definitely better. I don't think anyone will disagree with that.
The flapjack is crazy at short to mid range. My favorite AR is the MK. I can kill snipers with that and my friend rage quits because she can't 1v1 with it when she has a sniper.
Flapjack didn't have bloom when shooting while using shockwaves, at least on ZB this weapon shredded with havoc pump/sharp tooth. One pump, if enemie used shockwave you could use shockwave and shoot in the air with flapjack. Flapjack is slow but heavy hitter, it was basically a midway between MK ar and combat smg.
You guys are missing a big factor, THE PULLOUT TIME,it was horrible. If you need to shoot your pump then switch to your ar it has so much delay. It deserved to be on here,it was trash and the damage was trash imagine using it as a surge gun in a meta with red eyes,mk alphas,and twin mags
You forgot the buff of the enforcer ar they made it more accurate and a fast fire rate and now it’s just a infantry rifle with a scope or without a scope and I like it this season and I pick it up more than the burst now like it’s way better than it used to be and it also does the same damage and head multiplier like the first infantry it’s really good now

Twin mag is hitscan, low recoil and 25~50 damage each hit and not needing to upgrade, all twin mag ars have scope + double mag. A good player won't stay still in this meta to get shot by anti material sniper, tri beam laser rifle or enforcer ar, enforcer ar shines at average skill lobbies. High skill lobbies are usually people using any rarity of burst smg with laser sight or combat ar.
First off, Mk-7 beats out twin mag. Secondly, the twin mag has ridiculous recoil. If you fire once, the cursor shoots up. Plus, the enforcer deals more damage without that same recoil. I guess comparing them is stupid. But even pro players are taking the enforcer ar over the combat
The havoc ar got greatly buffed towards the end of the chapter, and i think it is way better than when it came out. Or maybe i am trying too hard to love it because of how cool its design looks 😅
Enforcer AR truly had the biggest glowup of any fn weapon, maybe ever. Used to have like, 2 fire rate, gold body damage 39 headshot 45 and horrible bloom. Now, 40 bodyshot, 75 head, fire rate 4-5(almost like the scar) and pretty much hitscan up to 60 meters

When it was removed, the Enforcer has its time to shine. The buff they gave it made it really close to hitscan. With it REDICULOUS damage, accuracy, and lack of any recoil, this thing shreds. This gun can compete with any hitscan rifle. I've out-beamed Mk-7s, Twin Mags, Hammers, you name it with this gun.
I agree with the enforcer. Even before the tri-beam was added in the current season, nobody ever picked the enforcer as their ar because the tactical and combat ars made it invalid as a spray weapon. And now the tri-beam has made it invalid as a marksman weapon.

Yeah, until you put a scope on it. Put a scope on it and the inaccuracy issue goes away, the recoil can be controlled easily on MKB, and the damage drop isn’t an issue when the sniper is in the game for long range.
To me, the Tac AR versus Warforged is very lob sided. The latter outclasses it so hard in every category minus minor recoil difference & reload stat. In a straight firefight, the Tac AR is frankly too weak to fight it. Not to mention a literal pistol out DPSs the Tac AR. I like the Warforged & firmly believe it is one of the strongest ARs, but only if you can control it. If you can, you have an AR that holds a lot of power in every category, if not a little cumbersome to use at times.
good vid, you should make a full tierlist on each type of weapon for a big video or maybe something like "worst lootpools from every season" since the meta for each season changes drastically. (like how this season it's mainly a car meta, or how season X was a mech related meta.)
Havoc AR wasn’t bad, in fact it’s my third favorite, but it was outclassed by the Twin-Mag SMG when it was in the game. Then the MK-Alpha got added and made everyone forget about it.
I think the warforged was designed to be a run and gun AR. If you’re standing in one place yeah the recoil is going to be horrific but when you’re ADS and moving around the recoil becomes much more manageable. There’s a reason the Ares warforged has the speed grip and muzzle brake attached.
Warforged AR is heavy hitter, shoots fast and reloads fast. Only problem is not being hitscan, that's it. It can be outplayed by other ARs on Red vs Blue (twin mag ar, mk 7 and strye's assault rifle) but if you're decent player you can kill enemies very easily.
Since the guns are designed to be at lower potential without mods i think it would probably make more sense to consider them with mods, its part of the meta
one of my least favorite assault rifles was the chapter 2 burst rifle, specifically from chapter 2 seasons 3 and beyond because it was good when it shot 3 bullets at a time instead of 2, but the nerf it received in chapter 2 season 3 made it fall from grace although ever since the striker burst was added in chapter 3 season 2 that made it slightly different because the scope helped me aim down sights better and it had less bloom
Enforcer was one of the best assaults but it was put in ch5 s1 which was the wrong meta for the gun making it one of the worst that season but during s3 it was perfect
Ye it reminded me of the ak a lot it was not that bad but the mk7 just outshined it by a mile as it is probably too 3 ars of all time. I mean in chapter 3 season 1 I took a grey mk7 over a gold ranger. If it got added to the game later I actually would’ve picked it up and used it
Honestly, they should have vaulted the tactical AR and left the Warforged for the remainder of this season. The Combat AR does what the tactical is supposed to do but better.
I absolutely disagree with both Thermal AR and Enforcer AR. Thermal had a fire rate increase from 2.0 to 4.0 and the magazine size increased. It was a great weapon in Chapter 3 and I still miss it to this day. The Enforcer AR had a buff that made it look like the prebuff Infantry Rifle, but better accuracy, Fire Rate increase and damage. Just because these weapons people consider them trash (which most of the case aren't) due to play style doesn't necessarily mean they're bad. They're situational weapons and if you're extremely good with them, you're a threat in a match.
In chapter 5 season 1 the enforcer AR was terrible but it got a major buff in season 3 and now it’s way more accurate and has a faster fire rate and its current state. I would say it doesn’t deserve to be on the list but we’re talking the season 1 one then yeah it does deserve to be on the list but I totally agree with the war forged AR revel being on this list especially at the beginning of season three until it got vaulted
To be honest i had opposite opinions surrounding the Havoc AR and the Flapjack Rifle as i remember the Flapjack having Higher damage but unstable recoil at mid/long range.As for the Havoc,all that mattered was the recoil control and managable bloom.
I would say the Havoc Suppressed was a great option for if you were going to run no SMG, and the Tactical AR we have now is incredibly strong compared to how it was last season. It deals significantly more damage at range and has close to no recoil.
i think what zemie said about the enforcer also works for the havoc, there was just no point taking it when all the other ars when it was in the game had scopes and a bit more dps
Sypher said this in one of his videos, the nerfed mk seven from season 2 was mid, or maybe it was better than we thought because the aug was in that season, so maybe you could be the nerfed mk in, but you could just argue it was in the wrong season

The Warforge stomps the Tac and Scar and only would have problems at long range against the Red Eye. With the shockwave hammer and maven shotgun, the warforge would dominate if you weren't afflicted with skill issue
I feel like the havoc supressed ar would be better if it just shot faster, having the fire rate like a scar while only doing the damage of a tac ar really means it wont be good, if it just shot faster it would at least have a chance.
I loved the warforged but i have to agree that it sucked so bad without a red dot or holo optic. Enforcer ar even with the buffs i dont find myself using, prefer a combat or burst smg since long range fights are almost non existent in this season
chapter 5, besides maybe the gatekeeper, reaper sniper, and thunder burst, has some of the worst weapon pools in this game's history. the game now hinges upon attachments to make a weapon "good" and the fact that there's only like 2 weapon benches in the entire map does not help. it's no wonder fortnite reload is doing so well because every weapon is so fun to use.
I would change Thermal AR and Enforcer AR for Primal AR and Hammer AR, Thermal and Enforcer were buffed and were much better than before, While Primal and Hammer are terrible at medium and long range, These 2 ARs were very uncomfortable, one because of the bloom and the other because of the recoil
Counter argument for every ar: - Makeshift uuuuuh... yea it was trash - Enforcer ar this season is super underrated because of the sheer damage that boi does (43 body and 76 head at legendary I mean this is better then the red eye). It is very good at range and if used correctly can counter snipers pretty well - Havoc supressed ar litteral aimbot on controler. Release this in reload today and it's everyones go to. Also the damage and the rpm were buffed in Ch4 S4 and made it a really good ar but it was just on the wrong meta - Warforged I fricking hate it so yeah - Chapter 5 tac ar shouldn't be used as and ar but as a mid range smg. I recommend running laser and muzzle brake. Works great in that role and if you wanna try something new here you go. Then again the Thunder burst and the combat ar exist so. It's also in the wrong meta.
I honestly don't think the Tac AR should be on here. I almost always use it as a replacement for an SMG, mainly because of the DPS and the low bloom. It might be a little slow, sure, but it's still a pretty solid weapon when you can get your hands on it
The enforcer AR is actually a good gun! You just need to have the right mod optics on it. Plus, thermal AR was my favorite AR but only the OG version until Epic ruined it. I missed using the OG version of the thermal AR. I will always find it when unvaulted LTM comes out, and I would just laser every squad that I see just by looking through the scope.
I love the Warforged AR personally, it’s just a good AR in my opinion and I hate that they vaulted it. Honestly they should’ve vaulted the Enforcer AR for the Combat AR its still kinda sucks, it’s still the wrong meta, its a bootleg version of the combat or at least in my opinion, and im mad about that. I disagree with the enforcer Ar and the havoc suppressed ar. On the enforcer Ar the damage, fire rate, and reload are the same as a red eye assault rifle which imo is one of the best Ar's ever. then the havoc suppressed are was very accurate if you had somebody with just decent aim.
the combat assault rifle from ch5 s3 is a banger assault rifle not even talking about the mythic but the mythic doesnt count here so the assault riifle is overall a must carry assault rifle
I think that the Warforged AR is amazing, and the Havoc Suppressed is great. I don't know how you rated the Warforged so low, in my opinion the Warforged was one of the best. Also the Enforcer isn't too too bad, I would take a Nemesis AR over it even though I also hate the Nemesis AR. Most of this list was pretty Valid though.
original Comabt AR was almost unusable for me due to insane recoil, probably the most underrated AR was the Ranger AR from Chapter 3, obviously overshadowed by the MK7 but it would have been pretty dependable in other AR metas

Makeshift: 100% bloom, ik it shouldnt come back but at least buff bloom because 4.5 fire rate is already making it bad Thermal Scoped: cant argue hip-fire as most rifles are bad at the hip anyways, it’s moreso DPS/TTK but that isnt what the early C1 scoped rifles were for, they were for amazing consistent damage with NO fall-off making it deadly like a sniper at range and i think they should have these rifles back in the game Enforcer AR: i see this and the Nemesis as like a Suppressed AR, super accurate and consistent but lower damage which they were but the striker had minimum recoil while having smg DPS/TTK.. just a bad time, Enforcer should revert back to how it was but other rifles would need changes and by that point might as well keep this on the OP end Warforged: somewhat disagree, it just was the first rifle that actually had a downside when it had a massive upside (aka the DPS/TTK), though once scoped and such it’s absolutely insane but it’s much better balanced than the Striker and Combat Havoc Suppressed: long equip speed is what killed it, after the buffs it actually wasnt bad but other than that it just isnt good as a secondary to a shotgun making it hard to spray, not sure why a weak rifle got a long equip speed but sadly here we are, although it was weak the accuracy made it up (similar to the Suppressed, Enforcer, etc.) Tactical AR: unsure why it still deals under 25 damage, it’s just suppose to be a faster version of the standard ar and its gold dps is between a grey and green, needs +3 damage and then it’s great

There was a glitch with the havoc where, when sliding, you had infinite first shot accuracy. This was a glitch because the mythic didn't do it but the regular version did

I prefer to think of it as an LMG with that 45 drum mag. Melts as a spam weapon but as an AR yeah it sucks

I agree with the enforcer. Even before the tri-beam was added in the current season, nobody ever picked the enforcer as their ar because the tactical and combat ars made it invalid as a spray weapon. And now the tri-beam has made it invalid as a marksman weapon.

Yeah, until you put a scope on it. Put a scope on it and the inaccuracy issue goes away, the recoil can be controlled easily on MKB, and the damage drop isn’t an issue when the sniper is in the game for long range.
It's weird how you completely ignored the reworked version of the thermal ar from chapter 3 season 2 because that one was actually pretty good
To me, the Tac AR versus Warforged is very lob sided. The latter outclasses it so hard in every category minus minor recoil difference & reload stat. In a straight firefight, the Tac AR is frankly too weak to fight it. Not to mention a literal pistol out DPSs the Tac AR. I like the Warforged & firmly believe it is one of the strongest ARs, but only if you can control it. If you can, you have an AR that holds a lot of power in every category, if not a little cumbersome to use at times.
good vid, you should make a full tierlist on each type of weapon for a big video or maybe something like "worst lootpools from every season" since the meta for each season changes drastically. (like how this season it's mainly a car meta, or how season X was a mech related meta.)
Havoc AR wasn’t bad, in fact it’s my third favorite, but it was outclassed by the Twin-Mag SMG when it was in the game. Then the MK-Alpha got added and made everyone forget about it.
The only reason I like the enforcer AR is just because it does really hard damage to bosses
I think the warforged was designed to be a run and gun AR. If you’re standing in one place yeah the recoil is going to be horrific but when you’re ADS and moving around the recoil becomes much more manageable.
There’s a reason the Ares warforged has the speed grip and muzzle brake attached.
Warforged AR is heavy hitter, shoots fast and reloads fast. Only problem is not being hitscan, that's it. It can be outplayed by other ARs on Red vs Blue (twin mag ar, mk 7 and strye's assault rifle) but if you're decent player you can kill enemies very easily.
Since the guns are designed to be at lower potential without mods i think it would probably make more sense to consider them with mods, its part of the meta
pre-buff Enforcer AR existed when the reaper sniper rifle existed and chapter 5's best AR existed: the Striker AR. Tough competition
The enforcer this season got some pretty significant buffs and i think its underrated. Yeah it sucked in season 1 but its so much better now
one of my least favorite assault rifles was the chapter 2 burst rifle, specifically from chapter 2 seasons 3 and beyond because it was good when it shot 3 bullets at a time instead of 2, but the nerf it received in chapter 2 season 3 made it fall from grace
although ever since the striker burst was added in chapter 3 season 2 that made it slightly different because the scope helped me aim down sights better and it had less bloom
Enforcer was one of the best assaults but it was put in ch5 s1 which was the wrong meta for the gun making it one of the worst that season but during s3 it was perfect
People gonna say the Ranger, but it wasn't a terrible item by itself. The issue is that it was in seasons that had the MK7 and the Striker burst AR
Ye it reminded me of the ak a lot it was not that bad but the mk7 just outshined it by a mile as it is probably too 3 ars of all time. I mean in chapter 3 season 1 I took a grey mk7 over a gold ranger. If it got added to the game later I actually would’ve picked it up and used it
Honestly, they should have vaulted the tactical AR and left the Warforged for the remainder of this season. The Combat AR does what the tactical is supposed to do but better.
I absolutely disagree with both Thermal AR and Enforcer AR. Thermal had a fire rate increase from 2.0 to 4.0 and the magazine size increased. It was a great weapon in Chapter 3 and I still miss it to this day. The Enforcer AR had a buff that made it look like the prebuff Infantry Rifle, but better accuracy, Fire Rate increase and damage. Just because these weapons people consider them trash (which most of the case aren't) due to play style doesn't necessarily mean they're bad. They're situational weapons and if you're extremely good with them, you're a threat in a match.
Without the attachments it sucks tho. Compare it to other ones like the mks the hammer the striker burst you get my drift.
In chapter 5 season 1 the enforcer AR was terrible but it got a major buff in season 3 and now it’s way more accurate and has a faster fire rate and its current state. I would say it doesn’t deserve to be on the list but we’re talking the season 1 one then yeah it does deserve to be on the list but I totally agree with the war forged AR revel being on this list especially at the beginning of season three until it got vaulted

The war forged assault rifle is an absolute beam if you can’t deal with the recoil this isn’t the game for you
The Chapter 3 Thermal Scoped Assault Rifle was amazing. It's on par with a sniper in the right circumstances.
I know I’ll get hate for this, but past I was never a fan of the M4/SCAR. Chapter 2 and onwards I would always choose something more accurate.
Makes sense cuz they nerfed that shit into the ground in chapter 4, I heavily prefer the Twin Mag

To be honest i had opposite opinions surrounding the Havoc AR and the Flapjack Rifle as i remember the Flapjack having Higher damage but unstable recoil at mid/long range.As for the Havoc,all that mattered was the recoil control and managable bloom.

I would say the Havoc Suppressed was a great option for if you were going to run no SMG, and the Tactical AR we have now is incredibly strong compared to how it was last season. It deals significantly more damage at range and has close to no recoil.
The Thermal Scope was brought back in Ch3 Szn2, and had a different scope and maybe other stats
The thermal scoped has been bad for a while, but the regular scoped in OG was pretty good

5:18 If we are being fair to the weapons that were designed with attachments in mind, this is such a delusional take. The Warforge stomps the Tac and Scar and only would have problems at long range against the Red Eye. With the shockwave hammer and maven shotgun, the warforge would dominate if you weren't afflicted with skill issue

I feel like the havoc supressed ar would be better if it just shot faster, having the fire rate like a scar while only doing the damage of a tac ar really means it wont be good, if it just shot faster it would at least have a chance.

I loved the warforged but i have to agree that it sucked so bad without a red dot or holo optic. Enforcer ar even with the buffs i dont find myself using, prefer a combat or burst smg since long range fights are almost non existent in this season
chapter 5, besides maybe the gatekeeper, reaper sniper, and thunder burst, has some of the worst weapon pools in this game's history. the game now hinges upon attachments to make a weapon "good" and the fact that there's only like 2 weapon benches in the entire map does not help. it's no wonder fortnite reload is doing so well because every weapon is so fun to use.
tbh i think that the warfoged is still a crazy good wepon if you get used to the recoil.

Tac AR Built for accuracy and used at long range is my go to weapon for ranked.
The Enforcer ar is a infantry rifle with 25 in the mag instead of the infantry having 8 or 10 depending on rarity
I would change Thermal AR and Enforcer AR for Primal AR and Hammer AR, Thermal and Enforcer were buffed and were much better than before, While Primal and Hammer are terrible at medium and long range, These 2 ARs were very uncomfortable, one because of the bloom and the other because of the recoil
The thermal scoped a launch was awful until it was buffed in C3S2 and in that season it was better than any dem we’ve ever had
The havoc with its chapter 4 Season 4 buff made it good and the all though it had a slow fire rate it made up for it with higher damage
Counter argument for every ar:
- Makeshift uuuuuh... yea it was trash
- Enforcer ar this season is super underrated because of the sheer damage that boi does (43 body and 76 head at legendary I mean this is better then the red eye). It is very good at range and if used correctly can counter snipers pretty well
- Havoc supressed ar litteral aimbot on controler. Release this in reload today and it's everyones go to. Also the damage and the rpm were buffed in Ch4 S4 and made it a really good ar but it was just on the wrong meta
- Warforged I fricking hate it so yeah
- Chapter 5 tac ar shouldn't be used as and ar but as a mid range smg. I recommend running laser and muzzle brake. Works great in that role and if you wanna try something new here you go. Then again the Thunder burst and the combat ar exist so. It's also in the wrong meta.

I honestly don't think the Tac AR should be on here. I almost always use it as a replacement for an SMG, mainly because of the DPS and the low bloom. It might be a little slow, sure, but it's still a pretty solid weapon when you can get your hands on it

The enforcer AR is actually a good gun! You just need to have the right mod optics on it.
Plus, thermal AR was my favorite AR but only the OG version until Epic ruined it. I missed using the OG version of the thermal AR. I will always find it when unvaulted LTM comes out, and I would just laser every squad that I see just by looking through the scope.

2:09 before it’s buff in chapter 3 I would agree with your opinion but since chapter 3 this weapon went from D Tier up to A or B Tier (imo). It has the same firerate as the infantry rifle and for a really short time during chapter 3 season 1 it had the same firerate as the scar and was fully auto
I disagree with the enforcer Ar and the havoc suppressed ar. On the enforcer Ar the damage, fire rate, and reload are the same as a red eye assault rifle which imo is one of the best Ar's ever. then the havoc suppressed are was very accurate if you had somebody with just decent aim.
post buff enforcer actually has even more damage and faster fire rate then the red eye.

Mythic warforged in my opinion was more of smg than ar and if you use it like a smg (or general a spray weapon) it was alot better
the combat assault rifle from ch5 s3 is a banger assault rifle not even talking about the mythic but the mythic doesnt count here so the assault riifle is overall a must carry assault rifle

I think that the Warforged AR is amazing, and the Havoc Suppressed is great. I don't know how you rated the Warforged so low, in my opinion the Warforged was one of the best. Also the Enforcer isn't too too bad, I would take a Nemesis AR over it even though I also hate the Nemesis AR. Most of this list was pretty Valid though.
original Comabt AR was almost unusable for me due to insane recoil, probably the most underrated AR was the Ranger AR from Chapter 3, obviously overshadowed by the MK7 but it would have been pretty dependable in other AR metas

Thermal Scoped: cant argue hip-fire as most rifles are bad at the hip anyways, it’s moreso DPS/TTK but that isnt what the early C1 scoped rifles were for, they were for amazing consistent damage with NO fall-off making it deadly like a sniper at range and i think they should have these rifles back in the game
Enforcer AR: i see this and the Nemesis as like a Suppressed AR, super accurate and consistent but lower damage which they were but the striker had minimum recoil while having smg DPS/TTK.. just a bad time, Enforcer should revert back to how it was but other rifles would need changes and by that point might as well keep this on the OP end
Warforged: somewhat disagree, it just was the first rifle that actually had a downside when it had a massive upside (aka the DPS/TTK), though once scoped and such it’s absolutely insane but it’s much better balanced than the Striker and Combat
Havoc Suppressed: long equip speed is what killed it, after the buffs it actually wasnt bad but other than that it just isnt good as a secondary to a shotgun making it hard to spray, not sure why a weak rifle got a long equip speed but sadly here we are, although it was weak the accuracy made it up (similar to the Suppressed, Enforcer, etc.)
Tactical AR: unsure why it still deals under 25 damage, it’s just suppose to be a faster version of the standard ar and its gold dps is between a grey and green, needs +3 damage and then it’s great
Havoc was good I think it's just a issue of people wanting to rely on on spray and pray

Definitly a skill issue cuz a player WON EU FNCS and have done the most amount of damage across all fncs by dropping on this AR (mythic version) and the only difference between the mythic and legendary is 1 damage (5 dps). And this guy shreds with it, you just gotta watch the gameplay. It's not the best, but definitely not the worst

There was a glitch with the havoc where, when sliding, you had infinite first shot accuracy. This was a glitch because the mythic didn't do it but the regular version did
