I absolutely LOVE the Stinger SMG, prior to twin mag in Ch4. All of CH.3 S1 was me using that gun anytime i could, even in reload now i will drop any smg just to have the stinger.
Combat smg on launch was the most busted non mythical I ever used. I remember seeing that I hit someone for 49 or 48 to the head with the gold one and was shocked. Like why would an smg do more damage than an AR and be able to 5 shot someone with that fire rate? It was truly amazing
Few things, the LEGACY Drum Gun is classed as an Assault weapon. the New Chapter 5 Version is classed as an SMG. and the Ray Guns are also SMGs despite what they are. Also Side Note, the Primal SMG is Slightly better than the Classic thanks to the Mag size being 35, but I think that's just because of the weird balance changes after the Primal SMG's time So it's fine. There is also a whole history of nonsense when it comes to the P90s of the game, Which to sum it up: Epic made the original Compact SMG the Epic and Legendary MP5 that we saw in chapter 4. and then they had the chapter 2 versions of the Epic and Legendary SMG removed from the game until Season OG. It was weird and Convoluted but basically, the Compact SMG doesn't exist anymore.
Bro it is crazy how the makeshift SMG (a weapon that was MADE to be bad) is BETTER than the Tactical SMG 😭. Also the Suppressed SMG’s falloff needs to be STUDIED.
17:48 the twin mag smg was only in the main loot pool for the first half of chapter 4. It was also obtainable if you killed a few npcs in season 3. It wasn’t a part of the loot pool for “the entire chapter.”
The Heisted Run 'N' Gun SMG is based on the v5.00 Submachine Gun that got the updated P90 model for epic/legendary rarities in v11.00. However, their model was changed in v24.00 to match the common-rare rarities, so the Compact SMG could make a return using the now unused P90 model.

I think the charge idea is really great, but they should have done the same thing as the charge shotgun, were every bullet does one or two extra damage, if you charge it by aiming. A charge sniper would also be cool (Not the railgun, but that thing is cool too).
I'd say a Charge Burst SMG would be good, you get 30 bullets and can charge up to 15 bullets by aiming in. You'll hold your charge while it's in your pocket, so that it's not as clunky. It'll be really good if you can land the full burst after landing a shotgun shit, but your normal spray will be far weaker.
We could of had the combat SMG sooner, I remember that in chapter 2 season 8, Fortnite let the people vote on what gun would come in the game next and it was between the Combat AR and the combat SMG. Combat AR won bc people didn’t want another spray and pray gun since we already had the P90, the suppressed SMG and something else

I would personally argue for the Combat SMG to be #1. The both the Combat and the Twin Mag’s spread starts relatively small, but the Twin Mag’s bloom ramps up to be much bigger than the Combat. The Combat can easily replace your AR because of how accurate it is while spraying. With the Twin Mag, you’re going to have to fire in bursts to manage its spread. Same thing goes with the Blink Mag. It gets a bit hard to compare the Thunder Burst and the Combat, but I still think the Combat wins. The main downside of the Thunder Burst is that it isn’t hitscan. I personally hate projectile weapons, as I find leading your shots often leads to the gun feeling incredibly inconsistent. In most scenarios where you’re reasonably going to be hitting all four shots with the Thunder Burst, the Combat SMG will usually be dealing more DPS. The Combat SMG has a higher skill ceiling than most SMG’s, as you’re going to have to control its insane recoil while also making sure you’re hitting your shots. However, if you have insane aim, the Combat is easily the best SMG. I’d personally even argue for it to be the best gun in the game.

The reason why the hyper smg was so overlooked was because, everyone would use this weapon with a scope attached. It’s true potential is seen with the scope off… the hyper shreds! And is so fun to use. So ya… burst = scope. Hyper = no scope
I’m glad the Combat SMG has a mythic, cuz it’s me fav even tho it’s a creative mythic and was never in the game including with, the Mythic Ranger AR, Striker Burst AR, Striker Pump Shotgun, Auto Shotgun, Charge SMG, Heavy Sniper Rifle, and Cobra DMR, but the mythic Hammer AR, Two Shot Shotgun, Prime Shotgun, Stinger SMG, Rapid Fire SMG, and the DMR are the real mythics in game.
The Submachine Gun's higher tiers and the Compact SMG used the same model iirc; they recently removed the Compact from the game files entirely so the only weapon with the P90 model is the Submachine Gun
To start off, they in fact did categorized the Drum Gun to be SMG in C5, it has always been an SMG just with the tag “Assault Rifle” even though literally everything about it from day 1 showed SMG, from range to mag to fire rate + damage, even lines up with the Compact SMG that released the season after Submachine Gun (Uzi): too inaccurate and too weak, i agree Charge SMG: technically it’s the BEST as it does the best DPS/TTK and solid accuracy without bad recoil, it’s literally just how you shoot it which only works if you are far or ZB behind a wall, needs a rework to be like the Charge Shotgun Tac SMG: disagree that it’s down here below the Suppressed but yeah, C2 ruined a LOT of weapons and the Tac SMG is a victim, DPS/TTK is even worse than the Hyper SMG or Drum Gun (other than Legendary Hyper, we dont talk about that tho) Makeshift: WOAHWOAHWOAH nah, this things DPS/TTK is better than C5 SMGs (other than Harbinger now) while still having solid accuracy, why is this so low, it also has FASTER fire rate than Tac SMG (9 vs 10) Machine SMG: frankly it shouldnt be this low tier, yeah inaccurate when u spray a lot but that’s the exact same as the Rapid Fire and Twin-Mag with the only difference being instead of 2 or 3 damage more than balanced it’s 1.5, the fact that i havent seen the Suppressed yet is astonishing Burst SMG: too inaccurate for a Burst SMG though it’s actually super balanced, i’d put much more below this SMG but i can see why the inconsistency is too much, but it’s a good smg other than that, doesnt do low damage (24/25/26 is same as Thunder Burst while having faster fire rate) Suppressed SMG: i say Tac SMG does better because of the bloom that comes after spraying the Suppressed, other than that it shouldnt be this high Scoped Burst: does such terrible damage that it’s probably THE worst right next to the Charge and idk why it’s to high up, i think 15.5-19.5 damage would be good for it with good hip-fire but the Legendary does 15 with bad hip-fire, scoped in it’s good but other than that this weapon is inconsistent AND weak Primal SMG: similar to the Burst, it’s balanced in DPS/TTK but at least it does a lot better in accuracy to actually use, it’s basically the Compact SMG but 1 more damage and 5 less mag and should prob be a bit further up Hyper: too inaccurate and fair bit of recoil but without those flaws it’s actually insane, especially with mods you could really deck this thing out, but i would still take a Primal SMG same rarity over it Harbinger: after the buff it went up a rarity of damage but same problems as the Hyper, too inaccurate and too much recoil Stinger: should be much higher, has balanced DPS/TTK as the Sub but has better range, accuracy and structure damage (structure is 2 above the Sub while having 1 more fire rate..), this tier list seems not well looked into respectfully Submachine Gun: should’ve been a bit lower but it’s solid yes Rapid Fire: i would still put this around the Machine SMG and that says something because i also was obsessed like SypherPK, it’s actually really good with its DPS/TTK but the problem is mag (not really high tier) and accuracy which is like the Machine SMGs problems, i hate to do it but it shouldnt be this high when it’s so similar to the Machine Compact: should be lower than even the Primal, C1 SMGs have always been a close up fight SMG and after all the nerfs it’s just a slightly better Harbinger due to accuracy only, i do not like how it’s so high up when it’s the same DPSs/TTK as a C5 SMG Run n’ Gun: as you say but much lower on the list because the Rare version of this weapon is slightly better as it does x1.75 headshot rather than x1.5, the Exotic aspect also only works in ZB as in comp it isnt worth picking up with other better weapons and mobility in the game Combat SMG: not sure why this isnt higher, it has balanced DPS/TTK to the Twin-Mag while having better accuracy overall and better headshot, it really doesnt have bad recoil like you say as it’s like the AR but easier, disappointed it’s in 4th Twin-Mag: should’ve been below the Combat but it really is still one of the best, same reasons as the Combat Blink-Mag: Twin-Mag but exotic, should’ve been like the Hop Rock Dualies though as swapping after getting the effect makes you lose it which makes it a bad exotic but still insane because it has Mythic damage Thunder Burst: i have to disagree, it’s extremely consistent but it’s also weaker than the Submachine Gun in DPS/TTK, it’s def top 5 or even 3 but this smg is only good cuz of versatility, it’s moreso a Tac AR that can be used as an SMG which frankly the Combat and Twin-Mag do better due to their insane DPS/TTK, ive used this in The Pit and i always end up using the Combat SMG over it
Personally - the charge SMG is a good weapon but to utilize its potential it needs to be used WAY differently from an Smg or even a decently fast AR so I’d say that as far as how good the gun is for the ,,role’’ of an SMG the placement here is justified but as far as the strength of it goes it should have been higher.

Also to add onto the Thunder Burst placement I carried a green SMG for an entire game just because of the laser sight, even when I found a blue SMG but without the laser sight, and that SMG carried me to my first win of this season Side Note: I also somehow ended up in the same game as my sister

Drum gun is not technically an AR. When you eliminate someone with a Drum Gun, the kill feed will say 'eliminated with an SMG'. It just has medium ammo bc its a lot more spammable bc of its high mag size (especially used to have 50) so medium ammo kinda holds back its spam potential
The tac SMG was NERFED in the marvel season, it was super strong in season X The makeshift SMG is literally an ever so slightly better version of the tac SMG and it’s sad
I want to say something to render the beginning about the Drum Gun kinda pointless in terms of technicality. The Typewriter in Save The World, which is just the Drum Gun, is classified as an SMG, not a Rifle, and the fast firing M4; the Breacher, is classified as a Rifle, despite firing as fast as a basic BR SMG and being a classic BR Assault Rifle. Also fun fact about the primal and makeshift weapons: they're also in STW in the form of the Black Metal and Scavenger weapons respectively. Imagine C2 S6 with primal weapons that exploded in your face upon reload and the makeshift act like the mechanical weapons.
Scoped burst is f*cking underrated. In one burst it did 90+ and I remember killing more than 12 people every game from 200-250 meters with this on zero build. I believe it was even better than the tunder burst...

Hyper: too inaccurate and fair bit of recoil but without those flaws it’s actually insane, especially with mods you could really deck this thing out, but i would still take a Primal SMG same rarity over it
Harbinger: after the buff it went up a rarity of damage but same problems as the Hyper, too inaccurate and too much recoil
Stinger: should be much higher, has balanced DPS/TTK as the Sub but has better range, accuracy and structure damage (structure is 2 above the Sub while having 1 more fire rate..), this tier list seems not well looked into respectfully
Submachine Gun: should’ve been a bit lower but it’s solid yes
Rapid Fire: i would still put this around the Machine SMG and that says something because i also was obsessed like SypherPK, it’s actually really good with its DPS/TTK but the problem is mag (not really high tier) and accuracy which is like the Machine SMGs problems, i hate to do it but it shouldnt be this high when it’s so similar to the Machine
Compact: should be lower than even the Primal, C1 SMGs have always been a close up fight SMG and after all the nerfs it’s just a slightly better Harbinger due to accuracy only, i do not like how it’s so high up when it’s the same DPSs/TTK as a C5 SMG
Run n’ Gun: as you say but much lower on the list because the Rare version of this weapon is slightly better as it does x1.75 headshot rather than x1.5, the Exotic aspect also only works in ZB as in comp it isnt worth picking up with other better weapons and mobility in the game
Combat SMG: not sure why this isnt higher, it has balanced DPS/TTK to the Twin-Mag while having better accuracy overall and better headshot, it really doesnt have bad recoil like you say as it’s like the AR but easier, disappointed it’s in 4th
Twin-Mag: should’ve been below the Combat but it really is still one of the best, same reasons as the Combat
Blink-Mag: Twin-Mag but exotic, should’ve been like the Hop Rock Dualies though as swapping after getting the effect makes you lose it which makes it a bad exotic but still insane because it has Mythic damage
Thunder Burst: i have to disagree, it’s extremely consistent but it’s also weaker than the Submachine Gun in DPS/TTK, it’s def top 5 or even 3 but this smg is only good cuz of versatility, it’s moreso a Tac AR that can be used as an SMG which frankly the Combat and Twin-Mag do better due to their insane DPS/TTK, ive used this in The Pit and i always end up using the Combat SMG over it
Personally - the charge SMG is a good weapon but to utilize its potential it needs to be used WAY differently from an Smg or even a decently fast AR so I’d say that as far as how good the gun is for the ,,role’’ of an SMG the placement here is justified but as far as the strength of it goes it should have been higher.
i go out of my way to learn each weapon and the charge does not deserve its hate.

@@SosaIDK because stat wise it is prob the best smg we have ever seen. it has the highest dps, fire rate, and goo accuracy. the charge is the only bad part and you refuse to look at it from a factual point of view that once you learn the charge its not a bad weapon so just admit you are bad and sit down

The stinger isn’t as good as its hall of fame days when it first came out, but it’s still easily top 2 smgs right now

I carried a green SMG for an entire game just because of the laser sight, even when I found a blue SMG but without the laser sight, and that SMG carried me to my first win of this season

The combat smg and the P90 are by far better than the burst. I remember specifically in that chapter 2 season lazy lake if you heard that p90 sound you knew what time it was.

Drum gun is not technically an AR. When you eliminate someone with a Drum Gun, the kill feed will say 'eliminated with an SMG'. It just has medium ammo bc its a lot more spammable bc of its high mag size (especially used to have 50) so medium ammo kinda holds back its spam potential

I want to say something to render the beginning about the Drum Gun kinda pointless in terms of technicality.
The Typewriter in Save The World, which is just the Drum Gun, is classified as an SMG, not a Rifle, and the fast firing M4; the Breacher, is classified as a Rifle, despite firing as fast as a basic BR SMG and being a classic BR Assault Rifle.
Also fun fact about the primal and makeshift weapons: they're also in STW in the form of the Black Metal and Scavenger weapons respectively. Imagine C2 S6 with primal weapons that exploded in your face upon reload and the makeshift act like the mechanical weapons.

Scoped burst is f*cking underrated. In one burst it did 90+ and I remember killing more than 12 people every game from 200-250 meters with this on zero build. I believe it was even better than the tunder burst...
