Foster is well known for talking rubbish.
This is the architect of the Millenium suspension pedestrian bridge built across the river Thames in London in 1999.
It was closed for 6 months after opening to the public when it began to sway dangerously (resonance) as a crowd walked along it.
Foster was interviewed on British tv and asked why he hadn't forseen that the wobbling would occur despite the use of computer design in the project.
In his reply he suggested that no one could have predicted it. Yet outside his office on the south bank of the Thames near Chelsea bridge in London is a sign advising soldiers to break their marching step when crossing that old suspension bridge. Oops!
I guess that he travels to work in a hover car.
