I developed an instant dislike to Ron Weasley in his first scene on the train when he and Harry met. Then to cap it all off when he treated Harry the way he did when Harry’s name was pulled from the Goblet of Fire. The final straw was when was teamed with Hermione as his wife. Sickening to say the least.
Agreed. In the scene where the names come out, he's twirling, posing and pointing like a pop star or an anime character. He's supposed to have insanely high control over his behaviour, (almost) never appearing shocked, panicked, agitated, angry, nervous, etc.

I always felt Chamber of Secrets had a lot of dark, spooky moments… it was quite intense. Prisoner of Azkaban was a lot lighter.
