Hi Nat! Great reviews. I have not tried the Russian company. My favorite company is Bella Art De Nicole. Bella Art has premium kits plus accessories. They are a small business and veteran owned. I now prefer Dreamer Designs over Diamond Art Club. The customer service at DAC has been awful. Also DAC has a bad reputation with their artists. I will be following you. 🎉 thanks for sharing
Thank you, Cathy! I'm very happy it was informative- I hope it will save you money. If I knew these brands before, I'd be buying them rather than Aliexpress brands. I saw Craft Buddy LED kits on Amazon, but they are pricy. Make Market is cheap & available at Michael's (online as well). Mosfa is more problematic to get - I used to buy it from Poland but last time I checked that website out - there were only 2 kits left.
Thank you, Terri. I tried their square drills (the chappel with the deer that I showed in the video along with a cardinal aka comparison kits are square drills) - they are different from other square drills I worked with since they seemed bigger and taller. What I didn't like about them - gapping between the drills. I mean, the gapping isn't crucial but still noticeable .
DDotz and DAC are on top for me too. Other kind of premium budget companies hand charted designs + gorgeous resin drills I have tried are from Wizardi and Collection d'Art. Biggest flaw for both is the lack of poured glue. Poured glue deserves like 2 points for me on the scale.
Absolutely agree with you! Wizardi lost me as a customer because of a horrible adhesive. More than that, the drills started falling off and I'm not the only one it is happening with.
@@DiamondPaintingbyNat YES! had to replace 2 drills for small wizardi painting I did as a gift for my godson before framing as it took me a month to go to ikea and buy one. They had popped of while it was laying flat...
I saw a few more people on TH-cam mentioning the same thing about the drill falling off. And it isn't the only reason why I'm not buying from Wizardi any more: did you see that "hedgehog " dp in the beginning of my video? Where I'm talking about the importance of handcharting? Well, the bigger kit with a hedgehog that looks pixilated IS from Wizardi. So, the designers do not render all their kits, just the majority but not all and I don't like it. That 40x50 hedgehog kit looked horrible, like any computer rendered Aliexpress kit. The smaller one, that looked super detailed, was actually from Mosfa.
Well I’ve only tried the first 2 companies so I have to try the others! I’d love to try #5 some day. This was very helpful, I watched it twice! Thank you for sharing all your research and knowledge ❤
Thank you, Cathy! I would definitely recommend you to try Make Market from Michael's (they should come up with new Christmas series in October and they will be available online as well) - they are pretty cheap. As to MOSFA- I love this brand but the problem with it is that it's very hard to find. The only place I could locate their kits is some polish website and they, as far as I understand, are selling the left over kits. I do not see new ones.
The only thing I can do is to give you an advice on areas that could be customized if you give me the link of the kit ( or the name of the kit) you are purchasing, so that I could see the design.

Thank you, Marla for the information! I will definitely check Bella Art brand!
So informative as always! And the beautiful music was just what I needed while I watched. I have only tried DAC and DD. I need to branch out. ❤

Thanks for sharing this. I actually bought a Diamond Dotz today that was a square drill. I have never done a square and need to try one.
