I’m obsessed with your tutorials because you also show your actual skin condition and honestly show us how to handle it filter-free. I literally recommending your channel to everyone i know. Love you❤
Starting the day with these precious makeup tips is the best... just right now I'm preparing for going out! Thank you so much Haley! You are my main inspiration 🤍
Thank you for talking about small makeup brushes! Even though my face has a larger surface area, I still use small brushes. I never understood why everyone said to use a big fluffy blush brush when all it did was make my face look like a stop sign! You are the only one I have heard talk about this out of thousands of makeup videos I've watched. Thank you! 🌹❤️🥰
In my country a lot of make-up artist is using too much product and changed the skin color. I really grateful to find your channel because it suit me more
Girl thank you! I have most of the items you mentioned here except for round natural lip colored lip liner and gel liner. In my 30’s and always wondered why the small brushes, cushion puff and spoolies worked wonders on my makeup application. You explained it really well. Going out to buy lip liners and gel liners now.
Another tip for lips I learned recently from Aly Art here on YT, is using a lip liner as a lipstick. It's a lot less product (so less cakey) and can still look really nice. It's all about preference though lol. I just found one that's like, my real lip colour (or at least it's very close lol) so I love it so much. I've also used that thin eyeliner brush with brow gel and it can look really nice if you're going for a fuller look. It's a similar effect on the brow's tail. The smaller brush for blemishes is a great tip I'll start doing. I forgot about that when I got back into makeup. I love informative videos like this one! 🙂💕
yaas i’ve been doing this recently and honestly i don’t know why i haven’t done it earlier. like u said it’s a thin product, long lasting, and the best for dry lips.
These makeup products are a game changer! I have some of these products and I'm going to use your makeup techniques. This is so helpful for beginners. Thank you Haley!💕
Thank you once again, beautiful Haley ❤. You are an excellent teacher and makeup artist. I am so glad I stumbled across your Channel a few weeks ago. Art brushes were so expensive when I was in Primary and High School. Even as a Uni Student, I often could not afford my Art supplies. I was so grateful when the city I grew up in opened a Bargain Shop. Now, most Towns, Villages and Cities in Australia have a local Bargain Shop. Even our Aussie Officeworks has affordable art brushes as well. We have Amazon as well. The posh art shop sometimes charged $50 for specific watercolour brushes on my Student art supplies list. Textbooks were the same! I was in so much debt by the time I finished Uni. Like most adults these days. I am glad to have the bargain shops now my son goes to school, as his textbooks and school uniforms are still overpriced. So I am grateful for the cheaper options. Also, I can use some to apply makeup, too ❤ Thank you for telling us all that it is okay to use art brushes. I know Lisa Eldridge sometimes uses a small artist's brush to do pinpoint concealing on her face and her models' faces, too. Please, Harley, can you teach us how to use the Korean foundation puff to apply different kinds of foundation? That would be wonderful. I still am not sure how to use them. Especially as I only own two liquid foundations. Which melts off my dry combination skin here in the very hot Australian summer. Thanks once again. Love from Australia ❤💖🤍💙
Eversince I searched about korean makeup techniques, their makeup tips are just so complicated and sometimes I dont even understand the whole video, Haley Kim's makeup techniques video have it all simple yet very detailed and understandable, THANKS HALEY KEEP IT UP
I've been watching your videos since a long time now, thanks for sharing your tips, it really helps a lot, I just want to request you to make a video on covering/neutralising baby upper lip hairs with makeup without waxing/shaving them off as keeping them makes a greyish tint on the skin
Recently became interested in makeup. Especially, the light makeup look. Cuz I look wilted.🤣🤣 The eyeliner part is so true. Going straight for the liquid eyeliner is definitely a bad idea. I almost gave up on makeup.😂😂 Then, trying the pencil. Definitely what she said about the round tip. Then, finally the holy grail!! Since I can not afford gel liners yet, I opted for black or brown eyeshadow, and those small brushes make application SO MUCH easier. That definitely boosted my confidence. ❤ your video..
A while ago i got the Tonymoly gel eyeliner per your suggestion. I was very intimidated when i saw the packaging but it turned out yo be first time i ever really liked my eyeliner look. I also used brown instead of black and loved the look. Next on my list is a small blush brush 🤗
So helpful! I love the emphasis on natural and youre so pretty. Can you make a video on makeup for online meetings ? I feel like my makeup looks so diffferent online than in person!
been binge watching your makeup tutorials! they've been a really huge help for a beginner like me, you explaining things in detail but so easily understandable 🤍
Hey i came so early✨️and thks for making useful vids for us which always clarify our problems which we have during makeup, always founds something useful on ur channel❤️❤️btw you're so beautiful yea🤗
I need to find a lipliner that matches my lips like that. I love how it looks! I always have the issue where it’s a little too dark or a little too pink
In this vid you look so so gorgeous I can only imagine someone as beautiful as you like this is what I have always wanted my makeup to look like. The tone the lip like Im so obsessed with this makeup look i think of it in my dream. 😭
I stumbled upon this vid after watching Dear Peachie's video about different focuses of makeup (eyes + lips, eyes + eyebrows, eyebrows + lips, cheek + lips, eyes + cheeks). The right side of your face in the thumbnail seems like a brow + eye combo (since my attention immediately went in the higher part of your face).
I LOVE YOUR MAKE UP TRICKS SO MUCHHH. it's a GAME CHANGER. thank you for making it free and accessible. I LEARN A LOT FROM UUU. i just love how simple your video and easy to understand. pls keep post about this kind of videos
Cushions changed my make up life. Also I love gel eyeliner but it’s kind of tricky to find in store! I think L’Oréal, and one other (Maybelline?) sells it at the drugstore
About the eyeliner part My eyes are deep and hooded so the most of eyeliner products are hard challenge to me. I just take precise brush (but not too sharp or it will irritate and damage my eyelid), black or dark brown eyeshadow and draw.
Hi Haley, do you have any recommendations or links for the eyeliner brush that you use? Thank you in advance. I really appreciate your insight and videos!
I want to ask what your shade is in Korean cushions? I've tried a lot of the dark ones for my light-medium shade but they still pull quite light but I do think our skin tone is similar!
Halley, can you make a video about minimal make up ? I mean minimal equipment for make up, and minimal make up product. I think for traveler people, need minimal make up
I have learned a lot from you and I love your videos 💞 Can you make a video about best make up products for olive skin tone or make up products that are your go to for different occasions ex: everyday, work, events ect..
Hi haley thanks for your useful tips and tricks👍anyway I like your blush on this video. What blush do you use on 6:49 ? Because the color is very subtle and natural❤ I wanna buy it
Thank you for sharing! I’m still a newbie in my thirties, and your explanations are so easy to follow. If you feel comfortable sharing, could you share if you ever got eyebrow tattoo/feathering?
Thank you for these tips! 😍. I hope you will make a tutorial for graduation make-up on boys. My brother will graduate from his Senior High School this coming July ☺️. Thank you in advance! 🙏🙏🙏
Yes! I would like to recommend spreading the foundation thinly first onto your face, whether using your fingertips or a brush, and then gently patting it in with the cushion puff!
@@keschmesch obviously duh, but there’s nothing wrong with skincare videos she is a beauty youtuber anyway. I found skincare routines that works for my skin by watching many beauty videos and doing my own trial & error. Those videos still helps for references💁♀️
Im about to buy that gel pot eyeliner in brown from the Tony Moly site! ❤ I haven’t used a gel eyeliner in years! But I was wondering if you had also linked the eyeliner brush you used for the gel liner, but you didn’t! 😢
I’m obsessed with your tutorials because you also show your actual skin condition and honestly show us how to handle it filter-free. I literally recommending your channel to everyone i know. Love you❤
hope can do makeup like you omg I am obsessed
Of course you can! Practice makes perfect :)

Hi Haley, do you have any recommendations or links for the eyeliner brush that you use? Thank you in advance. I really appreciate your insight and videos!
Where is the blush from?❤
Love your video! You explain the reasons for these so well!
Which brand of blusher you are using?
I want to ask what your shade is in Korean cushions? I've tried a lot of the dark ones for my light-medium shade but they still pull quite light but I do think our skin tone is similar!
Amazing ....what brush was used for the gel liner please??
Halley, can you make a video about minimal make up ? I mean minimal equipment for make up, and minimal make up product. I think for traveler people, need minimal make up

I already have the one! Here is the link :) th-cam.com/video/3hdtZvMNreQ/w-d-xo.html
Wow, this was really informative. She thoroughly states the reasons for why each product can enhance your makeup. Nice video!
What cushion foundation do you like Haley? My skin is similar to your colour i think!

can you do a video on how to sanitize make up products, i love your make up style
Can I use the cushion puff with liquid skin tint?
Hi Haley, I am new to make up, I want to ask whether primer is necessary when we are using skincare ? Thank you :)
Also can you use a cushion for normal liquid foundation in a bottle instead of a foundation in a cushion pad? Thanks Haley!!
You definitely can! It's just a tool, so if you have a foundation you already like, don't feel like you need to buy the cushion compact.
Yes! I would like to recommend spreading the foundation thinly first onto your face, whether using your fingertips or a brush, and then gently patting it in with the cushion puff!
Thank you!
Please do another skincare video! Your skin is so healthy and beautiful
Genetics and healthy food. What does work for her will not necessarly work for you

Im about to buy that gel pot eyeliner in brown from the Tony Moly site! ❤ I haven’t used a gel eyeliner in years! But I was wondering if you had also linked the eyeliner brush you used for the gel liner, but you didn’t! 😢
I bought gel eyeliner years back but I still don't know how to make my way around using it.. any tips on that?
