Nigeria seems to build better apartments than houses somehow.This is more of what l think nigerian developers should be building,3 and 6 storey apartments instead of houses that most can't afford.They can accommodate more people in a smaller area,easy and cheaper to provide basic infrastructures,more land for other activities like recreation etc.
I'm so sad that all these finesse are not in Ghana 😭😭😭 in fact Nigerians are really blessed with good real estate developers and agents.

You should see what most Nigerian houses look like before being plasters and painted. They're generally substandardly built houses by incompetent professionals calling themselves Engineers, minus the educational qualification required to go with the tittle. It's like asking a little kid to stack little bricks against one another. Imagine how not properly aligned they'll appear.
Most homes come with structural and workmanship errors. Go online and research how many building collapses takes place all across Nigeria in a given year compared to Ghana. You'll be shocked at the number. Suffice to say that most houses in Nigeria are nothing but substandardly erected cosmetics waiting to collapse. Thank goodness, the country isn't prone to earthquake. Otherwise, it'll be quadruple the number yearly.

I live in Toronto, Canada, median salary is about $39k per year but average house price is from $600k +…and that’s even a “good price” 😭

@@co7513 i get it, but it's not really the same. you can get financing for 25 years on a home. they don't have access to that kind of financing and they'll have to basically have the cash for a $50k apt. you don't need that, only the down payment. at least that's how it would be in the u.s.

In Nigeria, the major obstacle is access to long term mortgage so one would have to have the money in cash which is thousand times more pressure than in the West.

Seeing is believing. Place the address and directions to the property here and we'll be the judge of that. There's too much fraud and Scamishyness in Nigerian Real Estate. So it's hard to trust anyone. People's houses are being demolished in Lekki because developers sold them illegally erected structures. I'm not accusing your company of anything but people need to be very weary of developers and sellers in Nigeria. Period!
