This is really interesting...and the narrator seems REALLY excited about it too!

The white paint reflected that strong new england sun. They are slowly getting back to that and are painting roads around houses white

I particularly appreciate the way you narrate the history as the inclusive "us".

I'm happy to see this content, and glad the narrator took the time to make it for us. Could you people whine any more about his manner of speaking? Maybe your daughters could narrate instead, "Literally like the way we like lived in the like 1800's".

The information was glossed over at best and the delivery was as monotone as tinnitus. I suffered through only because I portray an early 1820 cooper/carpenter and I need as much knowledge as I can hold in my brain.

    There's a major Orb at 35:37.
Your story would have been a lot better had you not been so solem!

I agree, This would be better if the speaker wasn't so monotone.

Now seriously! The narrator I'm sure is a wonderful man and always sticks to a clear idea of what's right and what's wrong but narrating is a difficul job and you must have people help you do do a more enthusiastic job but not going overboard.

The industrial revolution didn't come till the later part of the 1800s
