If you are a suspect it doesn’t mean you’re guilty. So go peacefully and have your day in court without 3rd degree burns.
@@memjay9932 what a terrible take. You really think the cops get to melt someone’s skin off because of hearsay? They didn’t even know if he committed a crime or not. AZ has some of the worst police in our country. Cops have no obligation to keep you safe, they only care for their own.
Does anyone still think Phoenix PD is anything other than a psychotic, sadistic gang? They are an extreme threat to public safety.
No matter what kind of charges they draft or make up even if those charges are slightly legitimate it still doesn't warrant the physical abuse suffered by the individual, especially since he was not resisting in a manner that acts towards the police officers.
It's to stall the lawsuit against them.
And remember, those officers did not know he had a warrant when they approached him that day. So that's not why they "detained" him.
@matthewsteiner7955 Illegal detention leads to illegal arrest, and therefore, ANY use of force is excessive.
YOU MEAN WYTE COPS
How is it that it's been this many months and the officers that cooked this young man are not under arrest? That was torture. The sad thing is this man deserves to win a whole lot of money but now the city and it's taxpayers are going to have to pay instead of the officers that did this. They need to change it so that officers that are committing these crimes are personally liable and the ones that pay or the payments come from the police pension fund. Phoenix PD is rotten to the core. DOJ needs to clean house.
“Stop resisting!” The battle cry of the blue line coward gang.
They keep yelling “Stop resisting!” even if the person is dead.
They are taught that in the academy, so even if bystanders don't see the interaction, they'll hear stop resisting.
Thin blue line gang members of domestic terrorism
Any living being would resist being fried alive.
You forgot the fact that when they start yelling, "STOP RESISTING" over and over and over and over again, they also start to "rough-house" him around to make it appear as if he IS Resisting. This seems to only happen AFTER backup arrives. I suppose they are afraid that if they make the fake resisting claim with only a couple of officers they don't have enough "force" to make the fake resisting look legit.
The Cops must hella hate Dave Biscobing! The way the cops treated the burn victim...shows that law enforcement has no humanity within their ranks.
3,2,1..."We investigated ourselves and found no wrongdoing."
They say that because all they investigate is whether or not the cops followed policy. So, no wrongdoing _of policy_ is what they purposely leave out.
@@conscientiousobserver8772 If their policy doesn't conform to the the law then that would be evidence of wrong doing by itself.
@@ygrittesnow1701 What exactly didn't conform to the law? Courts have already ruled that cops, like anyone else, make mistakes. Unable to prove intent, they get away with it.
@@ygrittesnow1701 it's the f******G policy that is the problem... None of this is an accident.
What a GREAT time for DOJ to make a point with Phoenix by commencing 18USC241,242 proceedings against the officers involved, in order to make a point. In cop parlance, the DOJ should show PPD "who the boss is" by sprinkling a few 5 year sentences here and there for the more egregious violations.
this shows what kind of sadistic streak a person has to have to be a cop. They rejoice in giving other people unnecessary pain and suffering to feed their ego.
This is true, it's similar to how combat vets get addicted to the adrenaline rush of combat. These guys get a rush off exerting dominace and control on helpless people.
Bad cops come in all races as you can see in this video. Please stop generalizing and saying that all cops are bad because that is far from the damn truth!
This is why accountability is so important.
What is the DOJ waiting for? How many people have to be violated and injured before they step in? I thought tasing a man in Tyne groin was masochistic. Now this? These people all need to be charged.
It's just a few bad apples
1000s
They are probably waiting until after the election bc if t Trump wins these police will have automatic qualified immunity and his AG who would head the DOJ would put a stop to the consent decree that Biden's appointed AG of the DOJ would put in place! So if Kamala wins then you will see the DOJ take it over bc consent decrees last 3 years minimum!

Thats just straight up torture! Those cops new exactly what they were doing. This case is a criminal one, and those cops need to go to prison.
Another example of the need for INDEPENDENT auditors, auditors with teeth, BIG teeth.

Horrifying
The Phoenix City Council voted unanimously on Wednesday to extend the contract of police Chief Michael Sullivan. They all should lose their positions in next election.
Yes, the voter should fire anyone who voted to keep this police chief there because he’s obviously not dealing with anything. If they have a bad contract, then they should deal with that.
But it sounds like the police are happy with the way things are. They can do what they want and the city can pay for the damages.

Resisting Arrest seems to be a game of who can do the most damage or inflict the most pain under the guize of resisting arrest where most of the "resistance" is officers buffiting the "offender'.
Thank you, ABC15, for covering this story.
Those officers know how hot that pavement gets!!! They need to be charged with reckless negligence and a shitload of attitude of I AM THE LAW!!! I used to live in Phx and the ground of whatever type material gets hot enough to melt asphalt under a motorcycle kickstand.

As a general rule, I am against the DOJ taking over local police departments but in this case, I'm going to say that evidence strongly suggests PPD is incapable of changing themselves. The rot is so deep they can't change their ways on their own. A significant transformation obviously need to take place in this department. Criminal charges need to be levied where evidence merits it against the officers and command staff. They know they are under severe scrutiny and yet repeatedly continue their corrupt ways.
Although I understand that this will never happen, I legitimately feel that the Phoenix PD needs to be disbanded and rebuilt from the ground up.
