- The Rutgers Scarlett Knights stunned the Virginia Tech Hokies with a 26-23 win in Blacksburg. Kyron Drones completed 13-27 passes for 197 total yards with an interception in the loss. Bhayshul Tuten did most of the heavy lifting for the Hokies in the loss, running the ball 15 times for 122 yards with 3 rushing touchdowns. Athan Kaliakmanis completed 16-25 passes for 285total yards with a rushing touchdown in the win.
Production was like a high school game

They didn't show the missed field goal in the third by the Knights. That was huge!!
@@travisdonaldstanley6420 I watched this game on the YT in Germany. Me originally from the Jersey Shore a former US Gi who served 5 years in the US Army, most of it in Bavaria. RU almost blew the game in the 2nd half! 2 missed FGs and luckily on the last drive Virginia Tech, RU got an INT to save their asses! They're 3-0, Auf gehts RU! Now the rough part of the BIG Ten schedule in the upcoming weeks. Hopefully RU will finish 500 or better by the end of this season. Servus und Prost aus Bayern!

Difficult matchup for the Hokies. They're tough, but RU is just that much tougher. This could easily have been 39-23.

The game should not have been that close. Tech’s defensive line is as good as advertised. Rutgers in-game coaching takes a hit. Very disappointing.

Rutgers had two missed field goals, a fumble at the 1 yard line, and a 4th and goal stopped. This could have easily been 46 points for Rutgers if they converted all those. Close game though and hats off to VT.
