The text of this Cathar hymn contains an encoded message, Joana being the medieval cathar church, which has been weakened and finally eliminated in Southern France (Occitanie) through the horrible Albigensian crusade. The spiritual essence of the cathars is still vibrating in caves and waters.
    Texte occitan:
    1. Can lou bouyè ben de laoura, Planto soun agulhado, A.E.I.O.U. Planto soun agulhado.
Engl. translation: When the herdsman comes back from work, plants his fork, finds his wife at the foot of fire, all discomfited. "If you're ill say yes! We will make a soup with kohlrabi, a cabbage, a lark thin." "When I die, bury me deep in the cellar. Put my feet against the wall, the head in the tap. And the pilgrims will take the holy water and say, 'Who died here? It is the poor Joana, who went to paradise, to heaven with his goats. '"
    Deutsche Übersetzung:
    1. Wenn der Ochsenhirt vom Pflügen kommt, seinen Treibstab abstellt, A.E.I.O.U. seinen Treibstab abstellt.
    2. Findet seine Frau am Herd ganz zermürbt.

Near the village where my familiy originated from, there are medieval tombstones, for generations nearly 1000 years old with bogomilic-cathar inscriptions and symbols, in the past, for generations my ancestors were cattle herders. This song simply nailed me down and took me somewhere far to the times of the stories my grandfather told me, like it reestablished some spiritual link, it's amazing, i can't stop listening this hymn. Thank you Hans.

Dear Joachim, thank you very much for your kind comment. I never thought that my rendition of this touching song would receive so many positive feedbacks. I don't know whether I had an incarnation in this region in the Cathar times, spiritual people told me so, and it is probably as I always feel home in a certain way down there. Best greetings

God bless you. This is the first and only righteous Christian movement. Started from real Bulgarians and has enlightened whole Europe in those dark ages.... It was adopted mostly by the light people of France for which I am utterly thankful. Probably you have still their blood in you and you are destined for big spiritual journeys.

knightofwisdom11 Yes, from Bulgaria it came, but Bosnia in medieval period was only kingdom where bogomilism/chatharism was a state religion through its authentic church called "Crkva Bosanska".Did Bartul, high priest of that church, after the crusade against Bosnia in 1222. fled to Southern France where was proclaimed as a spiritual leader of all neomanicheans in Europe.

Bogomils called by different names in Europe like patarens, albigeoise or catars came from medieval Bulgaria. This esoteric spiritual movement was created by the third son of the Great Bulgarian king Simeon, Veniamin called Boian the Mage in 927 AD in the monasteri Saintess Parascheva in Preslav, Bulgaria, where he instructed 21 Higher Elevated Leaders and send them also to Europe. The white brotherhood have been reborn again in Bulgaria where they sing, dance and meet under the God eyes high in the Rila mountains. Greetings

For some inexplicable reason, when I heard this song for the first time, 2 days ago, I felt my heart crushed and suddenly the tears came from my eyes rolling down my cheek, even though I did not undertand the lyrics, the vibration of the music and the sound of the words I felt them on my skin and I culdn't stop cryng and my tears kept coming out of my eyes. I still don't understand what happened or what it means, I speak spanish an I understand and speak some english, so I traslate the song into spanish to try to understand well why I felt that way.

thank you so much Hans-andre whatever you tuned into touches me profoundly. 'Hearing the call' for me to come from Australia to follow Mary Magdalene's travel across southern France led me to many of the Cathar castles, the devastating cruelty of the roman church toward the Cathars. I was drawn into a frequency I didn't understand but know I lived amongst them. I wonder at the psychic pain we carry for centuries, without awareness.

They are still very much alive. They didn't believe fleshly prisons which binds us to the material world, only in spirit form are we pure and in our true form, thus they still live upon the Occitan land, at all their sacred sites that the crusaders, the church and king tried to steal from them. When I climbed Montsègur, I felt them all around me and I sobbed from my soul and truly felt my connection to them, from then until now. They represented and lived within truth and love.... two things that hatred and evil cannot kill!! Vive les Cathares!!

Please. I am sure your reasons for your upset is valid and have its origin in real hurt and pain. But if you read anything about cathars that is not written by the Church of Rome, you will find reasonable amount of explanation to the "suicides" you adress. It was called "the endura" and was sometimes chosen by old and sick people after getting the Consolamentum. This to wholeheartedly meet the unavoidable without resistance and to dedicate all powers to the surrender within. Is it possible that some did it in other ways? Ofcourse. But it seems the intention was for the sick and dying. Please nuance your perception.

I have spent a lot of time in "Pays Cathares"...I have never felt more at home anywhere else in the world. I spent my whole life searching for a place and a group which resonated within my soul and I finally found that in Languedoc and in the people they called the Cathars...les bonnes hommes et bonnes femmes. And this hymn resonates so deeply within my soul like nothing else I have ever heard. It seems to activate dormant dna perhaps or cellular memories...collective memories?? It does something profound and those frequencies are very healing. All I know is each time I go there I am changed. I sob every time I hear this song...it resonates with my soul on such a truly profound level. You found the Light Of the World, Esclarmonde!! Did you see her in the Keep? Did you communicate with her? There are some interesting souls guarding that mountain....when I climbed it at night.... they certainly were around in full force!! I would love to share my video of my first climb up, I was a hot mess..... many can relate to that feeling, sounds like you would too!! That mountain needs her people to return!!! It is said that this secret is carried into the world once every 500 years, marking time before the crucifixion, the crucifixion itself, the time of King Arthur, the Cathars, the Renaissance and, finally, our own day (roughly 500 years separating each peak). The secret was rejected each time throughout history, but this time, will we embrace it?

Thank you Andre for posting the hymn of the brotherhoud. Some of you wondering, whats this AEIOU might be mean. There are a lot of different "Layers" that can or can,t be explain about this AEIOU. I try my best:
AEIOU can be have the same meaning as JHWH or JHVH. If this is right, than it is more a explanation for something that cant has a name because it is that {supreme} that no explanation can describe this reallity. So it is or can be a solution to speak or pray to something that has no name. Another idear can be that AEIOU spoken in the right ressonance/vibration can be have a meaning for working with chakras or connect to a higher level. That some combinations will be used in Hindu and Buddhist traditions, makes sense! AEIOU can also be a anagram. In this case, AEIOU will be a code for a totally other word. The fact that Fredrik lll used this combination dosn't mean that he defined it. Kindly note that the most of those combinations are very, very old. JHW for example is find for the first time in a old script from egypt (Amenhotep lll) 1.400 before Christ. After all don,t walk on holy ground if you not know for sure that it is the right way for you.
Lot,s of peace to all of you

'The flesh is evil, the spirit is good' My name was Marie.. we lived near Toulouse. I would love to visit, but I do not have the money. Strangely, the place I live now looks very like those mountains. I think that we have returned to remind the world there is more than material riches. @@-Isaiah Yes, I am sorry I missed your question 2 months ago. Here is what I remember. It is just a little. I remember a small castle and keep. I saw a picture of something like it (on a documentary ) and started to weep. Not particularly wealthy. My husband was a knight. (I do not see any heraldry) I do not know if we had children. I was taller than I am. We took care of our people. loved them very much, loved each other too... I think I saw Marie in a mirror one morning when I was 16 or 17, long hair , handsomer than I am. My sister this lifetime, claimed to be one of my maids, that life. She remember combing my hair and said it was long and black. We were believers. Marie was a mystic, I mean, she had a very deep connection with The spirit and the mystical fire.
Near or within the Spanish borders. I wrote poetry that I gave to others to sing. I knew a troubadour who wanted to make love to me but I rebuffed him, he left. I remember embroidering under a tree as he sang for us. He knew I was a heretic. The wars came. My husband fought and was killed. They brought his body home and I wept at his bier, walking around it, weeping. I used my money to care for the Cathar church and my people.I don't remember much about my training but I remember kneeling and praying in a cave or grotto, light streaming from above. People were standing around me. My death was in Toulouse. My troubadour had returned as a priest. I refused to pay some sort of tax? My husband's knights were protecting me. They caught us in a forest.. I was riding a horse. My men defended me but fell. They took me a tribunal like inquistion. Said if I prayed the rosary I could be released. I refused and said the 'the spirit is holy, the flesh is evil' I saw my friend one last time, as they were taking me to the fire.. .I asked him 'why did you betray me?' He turned away. I think he thought if my life was in danger I would finally yield. When I start describing the life, I see it in my mind. It was a gentle life. I was a very sincere Cathar.
Oddly.. strangely? This lifetime, my husband has died recently. I am an old woman living a very quiet life on 10 acres. I am nearly a hermitess, at this point. I weave, sew, study, cook, bake bread.. do all kinds of handwork. I keep my cats and chickens and garden. I pray and meditate and live the older kind of life. I am a Gnostic, this lifetime, also.

Here is my translation in Russian (tried to keep the rhyme).

The frequency of this Hymn matches, somehow, our inner frequency that now is awakening! We are all cathars! May God bless us all!
