which software is this can we countercut from this app on ai plotter
NIce video! Need a little help. I have a 12"x18" Sheet to be cut. I added the registration marks via CutMaster2 printed it and I am at the cutter. It reads the media, but when I send to print it does not read registration marks. I placed the head on the center of the registration mark but it does do any thing.
Hello, thank you! If it is attempting to read the marks, but not reading them, for me I have to make sure the plotter is set to Roll 1 (for graphtec). Other wise it will not find the registration marks. If the plotter is completely unresponsive you may have to uninstall and reinstall the software. Unfortunately I'm not proficient on the technical side of troubleshooting. If you are still having issues I would suggest contacting the manufacture. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. Best of luck to you!
OnTheHillClothing I try to use the pen tool and every time I trace around it it turns my picture white. Is that normal?I have been doing wall decals for months and now I want to start cutting and printing heat transfers, but I have to learn everything on my own. Is there a step by step guide on how to cut lines. I love this video you did. It is one of the best ones that I came across. I just now need the steps before that. If you have the time and can walk me through the steps that would be great or even send me a link for a guide? My email address is tenkay73@gmail.com Thanks so much for your help!
Tenessa Kozoriz Well, I looks like I should make some move videos! :D hehe Just curious. When you use the pen tool, does it cover the image in white as you click and make your points around the image? If so, all you need to do is go to where the "fill" and "stroke" buttons are and turn fill off, but keep the stroke on a color you can see. If that isn't the issue or doesn't make sense, just let me know and I'll try to get you on the right track!
OnTheHillClothing I turned the stoke off and it worked. Now that I have it cut what do I do? Do I follow your video now? or is there something I have to do to just take the cut image out? I am sorry for the questions.
Yes, the image itself is going to print just like it normally would onto a sheet of paper. The important thing as far as the plotter is concerned is having the registration marks so it can properly align to your cut lines. Thank you for watching!
Dude was on Ai tech 11 years ago?? I can only wonder what he’s on now.

I would like to know how you made those cut lines. Thanks!
The cut lines were made with the pen tool. Just trace around the outside of your image. Thanks for watching!
