O’Grady was a HUGE difference maker defensively. Reese was held to 4 in the 2nd half as she was pushed off the blocks where she wants to operate.
Gotta have Hannah playing that rugged style defense against the bigs!

LSU was an amazing basketball team, definitely had all the elements of a National Championship contender and Angel Reese is just Awesome, LOVE her and all the LSU players talent and heroic effort!❤

I would have liked to hear more from Kate too, she is an integral part of the team, but they did ask her at least one question. I heard at least 2, one was for her and Caitlin, Caitlin answered. Kate could have.

Read an article a few weeks ago listing sports writers picks for the final four. None of them thought Iowa would be there.
Quite honestly, Iowa did not look like a Final Four team in losses to Ohio State and Nebraska later on in the season. CC was off and on, pressing a little. And Sydney was not a starter until 3+ weeks ago. She has provided a big spark and CC has calmed down and elevated. Finally, Bluder did not panic, has coached the way she is capable of after their last loss.
The press can be a bunch of jerks. Caitlin is not the only player up there. Positively RUDE!

UConn will not have a chance against Caitlyn Clark. The rest of NCAA women's basketball is lucky that Caitlyn isn't coming back, because they don't have a solid answer for what she does.

They should've won by at least 20, made some mental mistakes, missed free throws, easy layups. But they were clearly the better team, wore down LSU like they wore down Colorado.
LSU's star player rolled her ankle up in the 2nd quarter for the second time since the SEC tournament. At that time LSU was running away with the game. But print your tee shirts. LSU has the hardware.

@Peauxboy26 her ankle didn't even roll lol. Watch the replay. If she had sprained it she would not be able to come back in and play on that.
@@walterbrobI did notice it as she was running up and down the court and how she stood sometimes during foul shots but she played through it well. I don’t think it impacted her game too much where you can credit the loss to it.
LSU was just missing some easy buckets and making bad decisions. I honestly think LSU lost due to coaching and HVL 😅 also Caitlin is just a beast. But I think LSU would have won if flaujae was on Caitlin and if they reduced HVL’s minutes bc her shot selection and turnovers pissed me off 😂
Please reporters remember these are young individuals that operate as a Team, please acknowledge the other players we all are Human you don't want to create any unwanted animosity, focusing on just one player, because without the Team they would not be there talking to you. Remember How Would you Feel ? If only a few reporters are acknowledged and you are left out?

Could not disagree more. West Virginia and LSU both played good, physical defense against Iowa. You saw the results. I have seen Paige wear down and disappear in several big tournament games since her freshman year. How did the Notre Dame game go this year? Iowa will get many easy layups against UConn and several 3-point shots from other players besides Clark. This loss will look similar to UConn's March Madness losses we have seen throughout Paige's career.
