Coming back to this after 4 years and still frigging IN AWE.
My favorite Joni piece.
Peace.
I'm a huge Joni Mitchell fan and I love this song. The atmosphere of chilling menace she created has always thrilled me in this piece. You two have captured that feeling beautifully and inventively. Thank you. I enjoyed this very much.
His Grandpa loved an empire. His sister loved a thief. And Lindsey loved the ways of darkness beyond belief.
My favorite Joni song. I really admire this interpretation. Skillful, brilliant.
"Of the darkness in men's minds... "
I . AM . SPEECHLESS.
I don't have a clue who these guys are, but they are absolute masters of their instruments. Incredible interpretation. Bravo.
+HumanoidOrganism Aren't they?! We love 'em. Thanks for watching!
Mingus is such a great album! Wonderfully played.
Bravo, gentlemen!
Wow! Excellent.
If you're smart or rich or lucky
he gets away with murder
What can you say .....
Amazing, but why use an electric piano when there is a real piano just there?? The electric piano loses all top end frequency and sounds muted
I think, that the keyboard is not "tuned" to 440 Hz, so it can convey the sound of Joni Mitchel's open string guitar tuning. This is way more easy to do in an electronic keyboard that in a traditional piano ;)

For derelicts or ladies of the night
They're weeds for yanking out of sight…
