- Went out fishing with my buddy Chris on Parksville lake in Ocoee, Tennessee. The spotted bass were on fire and I caught my new personal best spotted bass at 4 pounds and 4 ounces. The main set up I was fishing with was a 6‘10“ medium Piscifun Rod with a viper X real on it, 12 pound braid with an 8 pound flourocarbon leader

@@BASSNGRASS right, we got a lot of fish but they were very sporadic. It made for a tolerable slow day.

Looks beautiful out there. Great looking fish!
Lived in Cleveland TN for many years. Spent many weekends on Parksville Lake fishing and skiing. Caught a lot of spots and even some rainbow trout.
New pbs are awesome. Its been a while since I've caught a big one.
It looks like you all had a really fun day. I love when you pull in those lively dancing bass. Too bad you couldn't hook that Muskie. They will give you a battle royal. Happy fishing.
You all will be glad in a few years to have Alabama spotted bass in your state.
not if they push out all the smallmouth and largemouth like they did at this lake
Beautiful country - I could've just rode along in the boat to check out the scenery
Thats a giant! Live to hear those words brother!
Nice video man love your videos keep up the good work and that was a big spotted bass that you caught

That was a huge Spot man, Congrats dude!!! Always yankin em in!!!!
Haha, John, you got that first big one to bite & he bit you.
Congratulations on you PB!
Nice catch!
The best way to make sure you catch a monster is to forget a net!
Ain't that the truth!
Hahaha 👍🤘
Bro this is the realest comment I’ve ever read!!! Every time I don’t take a net a giant gets hooked
I am notorious for not bringing my landing net😩
KastKing. That's all I'm saying about that. 👍👍👍✝️💜🇺🇲..Beard is looking awesome Big John and that arsenal of fishing gear you have is sweet.👍✝️💜🎣🏹🛶🇺🇲 God bless you Brother.
Nice Bass!!!
Congrats on ya new pb
Hey buddy good morning God bless you keep on fishing
Congrats on the pb > nice fish . I want to fish that lack so bad ..
Nice spot !!
Dude I just picked up a mach crush 200 . So far its been a great reel and the price point is spot on . I have it paired with a lew's carbon fire speed stick 6'9" med light and I fish mostly creeks and rivers near me hence why I love your videos ! thanks again for inspiring me to keep fishing my local creeks and rivers in NE ohio
thats a fun combo there
Sweet deal. That pb was a beauty
Great Video !!!!
The fish intro is back!!
Muskie mate for life and they will clean out a mouth of a creek in no time but they love that spot because the river keeps providing. They normally hunt together.
If you ever get back up there to catch those jumbo perch, I'd really appreciate a mess of them. I can trade you as many flies as you could ever want or need. I tie hundreds through the winter. I dont have a means to catch those jumbos.
That sounds like a great trade!
Do the same for those spots. Don't be shy about keeping spots because they will hybridize with smallmouths and eventually the lake will be filled with perch sized bass.
Great catches
I think muskies are only found in the north. You might have seen a chain pickerel at 11:00. Anyways congrats on your PB spotted! It definitely looks like a 2!
Muskies are native to Tennessee also
Nice one fam 🎥🔥
I love spots in their natural range. I am not so fond of them in the creek near my house that used to be home to shoal bass.
Good day of fishing!
We've got them in VA, now. Based on how they've been rapidly showing up in isolated bodies of water, some jerk has been going around dumping them. It wouldn't be so bad if we could tell them from the native Spots, but we're having to resort to taking samples for testing.
Well John this a different kind of post just asking for a few prayers landed in the hospital today everything is better now wasn't my time yet
As you know only He knows checkout time.
He has always protected me keeps me around so I can fish 🐟 another day.
May God Bless and keep you
keep those videos coming probably the only fishing 🎣 I will be doing for awhile
“The gram needs this” 😂
Hey. I just came across 1/8 and 1/16 oz weighted woolly buggers from Cabelas. That might be a good lure to try in those creeks. I ordered a couple.
Solid video boss
👍 If y'all from Ohio, and you LOVE Creek Fishing Adventures!!!!!!!!!
That bass said you gave me a fake worm so I am just going to take your finger great video great fish and a great lake
Alabama (spotted) bass and Kentucky spotted bass are apparently very different fish. Probably most of the places I have seen you fish would likely have native Kentucky bass. One exception would be the Coosawatee, which is part of the Mobile basin in which Alabama bass are native. Not sure what happens when you get Alabama and Kentucky bass mixed, but I have heard reports that Alabama bass are quite good at negatively disrupting other native bass species. Lake Chatuge once had a great smallmouth fishery, but apparently the introduction of Alabama bass ruined that once great fishery. I am also hearing about problems in the Flint River in Georgia where introduced Alabama bass may be a threat to the native Shoal bass. I think I have also read that Alabama bass are now in Blue Ridge lake. In Georgia I have read that one of the main sources of Alabama bass that are introduced elsewhere is Lake Lanier, which has a great Alabama bass fishery. I don't know if Alabama bass are considered native to the Apalachicola basin (Chattahoochee and Flint and Lake Lanier). That would be interesting to know.
Well , there you go . Just having too much fun again . You could not even set your pole down without hooking up . Well done .
Instead of no shave November you went no shave 2020! 💪👊
Like the vids bro
Wow
Amazing
Best angler
Very good
super nice...
Beautiful bass. And why didn't you get it mounted?
If you ever come to WV you’re more than welcome on my boat buddy.
One of our local sheriffs deputy’s holds the TN state Alabama bass record and it came out of parksville
@Matt Otis I’m genuinely curious, how are they ruining lakes?
yeah it was 7 lbs, the species take over and all the smallmouth and largemouth decline
@@CreekFishingAdventures makes sense because you don’t see a lot of the others in there. Maybe that’s why they put the muskies in there was to take out the spots
Ever thoght aboat a trip to North Idaho.? Great stream fishing!
Maybe one day!
Nice spot man
Thanks 👍
Parksville wasn't exactly a booming fishery before the alabama bass were introduced. The largemouth were poor and the smallmouth were all ready in a major decline. Its arguable the Florida bass in Chickamauga are invasive but look what they did for the fishery it wasn't all that long ago it was called "Sickamauga".
I hope someday you catch a 6.5 lb. spotted bass. You will swear it's a 10 lb. largemouth. One almost broke my right wrist when I set the hook. Luckily I use a right hand bait casting reel, so my left hand took the brunt of the pulling.
Do you do crappie fishing think it would be cool to see
I have OCD so Rods and Reels must match- not in brand but color and function. If I have 9ft Steelhead Rod it needs a Reel that holds a lot of 8lb fluorocarbon.
