Daaaammmmn this is insane. Im gonna get on this asap before the nerf this. I would say bring a shotgun and finish off the last couple percent so you don't get stuck in its body
Did gama and beta last night. Worked like a charm.
I imagine you might be able to sprint right when he starts the death animation to avoid getting stuck? I've gotten higher tier swords and sword BPs out of cave drops (blue/yellow) - mostly from lava cave because it's quick and easy to farm.
This is great! I tried something similar with the broodmother, and the dps is insane 😁
The only problem I see is with the Official PVE servers themselves. The dragon often will not land during the fight, even when the server ping/lagg isn't very high. 😬
There are also 2 other potential glitches on Official that will make this very hard: Invisible Dragon and "Alpha" Alpha Dragon, where the Alpha Dragon spawns with a buff, essentially giving it double hp.

Did it on a community server with a 102 armor saddle & 360% sword. Only issue i had was being too close to the barrier caused the dragon to fly outside of the barrier and go under the map. Worked better for me when I stayed more towards the middle.

Just mindwipe and put all points into melee, you dont have to have his exact melee, it will just take you longer if you have less
He was level 130 so wouldn't he need all xp notes and Ascension
Yeah lol all notes and alpha ascension, not to mention you gotta actually lvl that many times

I was actually skeptical to do this on unofficial server I’m playing in. It is possible, I did the gamma dragon with no problem the other day and tried beta earlier today but got so focused on killing dimetrodons and Petra that I got hit by a fireball. It took 2 fireballs for me to die. I was using a 699% sword, BP was from a cave that an ally tribe got. My character was also lvl110 I put 600 on melee and a few points on weight for items. Before I died, beta dragon was already below half health. So yes it’s possible. Gonna try beta again.

Can you do this with a sword 298% 225 megaloceros with 124 armorsaddle and cap 198 armor ghilie?
It just doesn't help if you use the official settings but armor and weapons which are much higher than on official servers:/
Will this work with a pike?
Just take a shotgun for that last sliver of health so youre not stuck under dragon
Does this work with a duo?
Would Battle Tartare help at all since it increases melee damage?
I use battle tartare when I get under the dragon, this will disable the enduro stew effect and I just watch my health. When my health starts to get at 60-50% I take enduro stew again the cancel tartare effect then heal.

why does he get damage from the heat and treatment does nothing? I have 44 points in Fortitude, all the soups and after half the dragon's HP I start getting damage

Tried it twice on official servers and the dragon only lands for a second at a time. Im just gonna wait until my army of therizinos is done

yeah fun way to do it, but there's no chance of that happening with so much melee in official, also best to bring a shotgun to kill from afar, losing all that element is totally brutal! nice way to do it though lol
I mean that's the easiest way to do it if you're solo.

so i just have one probelm, sometimes when i melee him i only do 1.2k dmg, but sometimes i do2.8k dmg. how do i guarantee the 2.8k?
Not sure why your damage is inconsistent. What I did was when someone was doing dragon and I was helping out. I used my sword and I was hitting 2.1k. I so I did a test on a dummy and I was hitting 2.4k on its arms. This is not with max melee stat. So the dummy takes 300 more dmg on its arms when hit compared to the dragon. From this I can see how much dmg I can do per swing at the dragon when I’m fully buffed with reset stat. Try it out. This worked for me.
Anyone know where you can get higher-tier swords, I've not gotten one in any of the overworld drops at this stage, I might just be unlucky.

I died in literally 1 milli second. The dimporphs kill you almost instantly way to fast for my sword to kill.
Boss fight are different from official to non official
don't work the bosses are different from single player and official i just tried it
If you have access to a whip, whip the tame under you after the dragon dies and you can get out. I had this happen when i was on the pig with theris. everything died and i managed to wedge the pig and shotgun him down. I too got stuck but was able to whip the pig and get the cache.

hi u cant do this on official server ill explain u why. Most of the time with lags etc the dragon doesnt even land he is glitched af with this strat u deal damage only when he lands so it ll no work!

For all the people who say it s unrealistic on official servers, i ve seen it being done on small tribe on stream.
-2 peoples on daeodons swinging their swords using battle tartare for more dmg and drinking beer whenever they took dmg, in addition to what teacher showed.
They did it on cooldown and yeah there has been a dragon glitch once (dragon flew out of the map) out of 4 tries that i watched. But the three other times it worked just fine. Also when they realised the dragon glitched they put all the stuff in one character killed it, harvested the corpse to make a bag and collected it on the next run.
You can have unfortunate runs, but its definitely a viable strat.
Yea I dont see this working on official for most players unless you can somehow get the dragon to not be in the air as often as normal. Even with completly capped pumps (755%) you cant solo this. Duo, sure, but solo, no. It takes about 20 minutes under normal circumstances with a pump like that to kill the dragon on alpha. You cant do enough dps. No one is gonna be getting over 600% melee without doing ascension as well and thats if you put every single point into melee which is a really, really bad idea. You NEED some health for this.
I have 700% melee on 1x. and 298 is weapon cap
So with a tamed Mega, normal saddle, cap sword
The ptera's and Dimorphs kill you in about 15 seconds
Going to go on and say don't try this on official
If you try this on Official PVE you pretty much gonna die. Dragon is most of the time in the air due to the insane lag that official has. Also you gonna struggle with the view distance when the dragon is in the air.
Also if this has been recorded in single player it is 67% weaker than official version.
If you shoot the dragon in the air it lands, because there has always been an issue with it recognizing where to go
@@TeachersGameToo I can assure we've done runs in which we have put more than 2500 bullets in the dragon and it only landed one time and for a brief period of time.

Tried it twice. Doesn't work. Second time was most successful but timed out. Lage makes this impossible on an official server.
If only i could get a 325 armor saddle on official, who knows what the dmg on that sword was.
he says if you could get a good saddle, you'd be better off. So it should be primitive saddle
the math should be relatively simple, a base damage sword does 90 damage per swing at 100 percent melee here he is doing 3690 per swing, that is 41 times base damage, the highest a sword can go to is 2.98x dmg so if he had that dmg sword his melee was 1375 or in other words he put 255 levels into melee albeit a recipe might have given increased dmg but the enduro stew does not work as intended according to the wiki. Currently the max on official barring a possible full note run is 720 melee dmg so if he had that his sword was 569.4 percent
as a side note a more realistic number per swing would be 1663 damage per swing if using a 2.98 sword with 104 points into melee which means the dragon would take 2.2 times longer in theory however the dragon doesnt like to land sometimes so it could be significantly longer than 2.2x to kill

I think he doesn't play official, if you're new here you have understand teach has awesome vids but click baity titles, it's good info but sometimes it doesn't really apply to official.
Out of curiosity what difference would there be? I don't play official but if Teaches stat and difficulty settings are the same wouldn't it be the same?

it may be official setting but singleplayer makes bosses easier and damage from weapons are different so sadly probably not doable on official servers

Its the tartar that I forgot about, which removes the ability to use med brews. So the stew is the way
Enduro Stew removes the ability to heal from other sources like Med Brews. Enduro Stew and Battle Tartar cancels each others effects out because the Stew Heals you and Tartar DoTs you.
I'm pretty sure that sword is not "Official" weapon damage capped either. You can also get up to 765 Melee base on Official because level cap is 135. You are missing 5 levels from a chibi probably.

This video has been ratioed since it is possible on single player, but not possibe on official servers. Just tried with a capped sword and beta still had third health left when time ran out.

The max level is lvl 135 though: 105 + 15 lvl Ascension/Overseer Alpha, +5 lvl Chibi, +10 lvl by collecting all explorer notes on 'The Island'.
(I recommend Ninjakiller's guide for the explorer notes and doing Alpha Mosas, Tusos, and Megalodons in the ocean to max out your Chibi experience) ^^

And as soon as you get 1 meteor on your head, those 100 hp aint going to help.
This is the quickest way to lose all the tributes for an alpha dragon.
The easiest way is good flak, canteens, stego, cakes and shotguns.

@@alejandrocalori6298 This one is actually doable. Saddle doesnt matter since you are not suppose to get hit, full melee with mindwipe and have all buffs from foods and beer.
It wouldnt be this fast but we have done this on official smalltribes PVP with 2 full melee bobs on moose and 1 rhino

This does not work on official. I tried in local and it worked just fine, but then in official I did almost no damage to the boss with same stats and better gear

Yeah don’t follow this strategy. Instead have someone glitch the Deer under the feet while having Therzi attacking it or have other people sit back with capped shottys shooting it. Also swap Ghillie for Flak to tank hits from small flyers.
