Upasana Society NGO - #Menstruation2019 Campaign
1 girl uses around 5000-6000 non-biodegradable sanitary pads in her entire menstruation life cycle which take more than 500 years to degrade. 1 cup lasts for 6 to 8 years.
Campaign details:
1. Workshops for urban population to switch to menstrual cups & reduce use of non-biodegradable sanitary napkins &
2.Raise funds for donating cups to underprivileged women who cannot afford it & make them independent for 6-8 years.
Amount to be raised per girl is Rs.950/- which includes workshop, menstrual cup, follow-up , feedback and logistics.
