This is one lousy video. Did not explain that you were making a space with your index finger to make a picot, and did not explain , or show the flipping over to the other side to close the ring with the knot. If i were a beginner, i would have been lost.

I hope you don't have any more nervous laughter in future videos, because it is making me nervous to.. ehehe(?) Anyways, try to plan and make a mini script-like notes you can look to to avoid being nervous :) Best of luck!

I like your joining directly onto the needle. I was using a tiny crochet hook for joining. Thanks for the video.

Just make an ordinary knot as you would tying up a parcel. See 5.38.
Gray background and gray yarn - not a good combination. Also very hard to understand.
