    Yes. Ky Co is a very beautiful beach, not only of Quy Nhon but also of Vietnam. It seems to be the Maldives in Vietnam. Thank you so much 🎉🎉🎉🎉

    I really liked Quy Nhon, the beach is a lot less instagrammable but it was cool to see families hanging out and people not so many foreign tourists when I was there. I think it’s a shame a lot of the nice beaches are private, it’s not a huge cost for westerners but still it excludes a lot of people

      @@HighOnLowTide I've just watched like half your videos! haha. Will definitely watch all and recommend to others. If you do happen to keep popping by beautiful beaches, just a thought... would love to know about vegetarian food and coffee shops in the area! haha

      @@williamphillips9393 Thank you for the kind words! :) I'll keep making videos for sure, I travel quite a lot, but I'm a bit slow, because I do this in my free time. The next one will come soon! :) I wanted to include more food in the future, too, I love trying out local dishes.

    Should i go to phu quoc or quy nuon ?

    • @HighOnLowTide
      @HighOnLowTide  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, both are very beautiful, but they are a little bit different. Phu Quoc is big with nice beaches, lots of accommodation options are on the beach basically. Lots of people choose a nice place to stay near a beach and just go on a beach holiday. There are some pretty, small islands you can take a boat trip to (worth it). Quy Nhon is a city, the main beach is not really special, but there are lots of things to do and see around the city, some of the attractions are beaches, but there are others, too (I also made a "Best of Quy Nhon city video"). If you just want to relax on a nice beach, Phu Quoc might be a better option.

    Good on you for calling out the unpleasant reality of Vietnam...whenever something starts to become popular, they overdevelop it and ruin it entirely. This is a common theme in Vietnam fueled by this Chinese mentality. It's terrible. It destroyed Phu Quoc, Sapa, Halong Bay, and other areas. And now I see it has destroyed Ky Co Beach. Even though Thailand beaches have been overrun with tourists for decades, Thailand does not overdevelop these areas. They keep them pretty natural. In Vietnam you get a completely different mentality which in part explains why the tourist return rate to Vietnam is about 5%, most of which are from China. I was planning a trip to Ky Co but no more. Thanks for your realistic and honest insights.

    I agreed, What a beautiful beach but destroyed with tacky structures like the super long deck and ugly buildings.
